Segno is an African technology company building an ecosystem of business management solutions that help businesses streamline operations, improve efficiency and manage their activities more effectively.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for proactive, commercially minded individuals to join Segno as Business Development Associates.

Your role will be to introduce Segno's software solutions to businesses, engage business owners and decision-makers, demonstrate how our products can improve their operations, and convert interested prospects into paying customers.

This is a fully commission-based opportunity with no fixed salary. You earn ₦20,000 for every successfully onboarded client, paid once per client, 15 days after that client's successful signup and onboarding.

WHO ARE OUR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS?

Segno provides solutions for different types of businesses, including:

Retail: Supermarkets, pharmacies, grocery stores, fashion boutiques, electronics shops and other retail outlets.

Hospitality: Hotels, restaurants, cafés and other hospitality businesses.

Real Estate: Real estate agencies, property managers and property management companies.

Residential Estates: Gated communities, estate managers and residential property operators.

Corporate Businesses and SMEs: Organisations that need employee management, attendance tracking, visitor management and other operational tools.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify businesses that could benefit from Segno's software solutions.

Connect with business owners, managers and other decision-makers.

Generate qualified leads and convert prospects into paying customers.

Introduce Segno's products through direct outreach, networking, presentations and product demonstrations.

Understand business challenges and recommend relevant Segno solutions.

Follow up with interested prospects and guide them through the customer acquisition process.

Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations and sales progress.

Identify new customer segments and opportunities for business growth.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.

Confidence engaging business owners and decision-makers.

Interest in sales, business development, technology or entrepreneurship.

Ability to identify opportunities and pursue prospects independently.

Self-motivation, initiative and a results-driven mindset.

Basic digital literacy and willingness to learn software products.

Ability to work independently and manage your own prospecting activities.

Previous experience in B2B sales, SaaS sales, digital marketing, business development or customer acquisition is an advantage, but not compulsory for candidates who demonstrate the right commercial ability and initiative.

Hi guys, i know trading in Nigeria seems very sketchy but since this post is actually for traders, I was wondering if we could create a group on WhatsApp or Discord just for traders to drop day trading tips based on what they see, help each other grow and get better. No ads, no promotions just a group of traders supporting traders without judgement. have a bad day in the market you can feel free to drop on the group. Trading is normally lonely and mostly for introverts but i think it could be a good idea. I don't intend creating the group myself, the OP of this post can do that but could be a good way to support traders. Many trading groups out there are for selling trading products and signals, not necessarily a real support community. Just a thought though, no judgements please.

Here they go again. Yet another cycle, and people ask why Nigeria keeps sinking. Still same old bunch coming back to do same old things same old way even at their old age, and the young people that should think better raise placards and campaign in support for temporary N1,000.
