It would depend on your location. I normally advise getting used items and resell at a higher price, you don't need a store, just set up a simple website on your own with flutterwave and promote your products on social media. I liked the idea of the broiler someone recommended, you don't even need to have an understanding with fastfoods, you can walk the market and get contacts for people that buy 2 weeks old broilers to huck, just train them for 2 weeks and they'll come buy them from you wherever you are. You can hoard crypto but it's risky and don't venture into it if you don't have guts else when there's a big dip you'd rush to sell in order to cut your losses but forgeting the market always comes back and better. Same goes for forex, losses abound but there's some profit if you are really disciplined and use the right strategy. I like the travel business, very easy to start but the whole covid thing has put a bit of a drag on it. These are stuff I've tried, there are many other ways but I don't have a first-hand experience in them. Most important note is Rome wasn't built in a day so if you expect profit in 6 months you have to pick the right business. Only one from my list that can even give you profit in 3 weeks is the used items and depends on how visible you make your product to the target market. Wish you all the best. 3 Likes |

I normally don't comment on subjects but I guess I should here. There's nothing wrong in how you feel, it's almost like my best friend getting my sister pregnant without me knowing they were dating. I'd be furious, your case is even worse because title definitions would change. We are humans afterall, but it is what it is. Your nanny is still a human, you pay her salary and there's dignity in labor no matter what one does doesn't make her less worthy of getting married to your father inlaw. Some pointed to the case of my driver getting my mother pregnant. They are adults afterall, I'd initially be angry but if it's what she wants there's no big deal, just that society favours the male child cause my mum won't lord him over me and he'd still always respect me cause he'd probably always see me a certain way with respect, but fact is it's a tiny bit different for women. They might want to prove themselves and show dominance. Also, the family would say you came into the family also since you were married into it. Lame but true. My advice, don't over flog the issue anymore with your husband, you'd only be making things really worse for yourself especially from your husband and other family members. Have a serious talk with your husband, tell him you felt bad but your father inlaw's happiness matters especially since a child is on the way but he now has someone to take care of him, there's no need to keep staying in that house, you guys should get a place of your own. It's a duplex not a mansion, even if it were a mansion, it's not worth yours or your family's happiness. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Its just pathetic that no formal apology has even come from any of these countries till date and they still exploit africans. Easy to say because you've not being there. I'm totally against sex before marriage. The effect though is what I don't think you fully understand. I dated a lady for 3 years without it. And like the OP said, I totally lost the desire to be intimate after the first 2 years. No response in your body even when she tries to tease you. She then began to think I had developed ED. To be honest I was scared I did. But when it ended and I met someone else, it was like magic. So I believe its the brains way of dealing with the reality being "No sex" so why bother responding. I had a friend who suffered the same thing from an uncle, trust me when i tell you it's not easy with them. When we get really close, she looses control and fights you then begins to apologize to me while crying. Why you might not have gotten the extent of it is probably coz you both decided to avoid sex. I advised her and it's the same thing i'd advise you. She has to go see a counsellor. Or therapist of some sort. She really loves you but would always feel like that helpless girl anytime you try to be intimate, so she fights back. Please try to be her strength and don't love her any less. 3 Likes |

It works like every other currency, it's just more volatile and the value does actually fluctuate based on demand. A good news from China would have a marked effect on how the price goes. Messed up country. I've been trading and transacting in crypto since 2015, I knew it would get to this someday because they have no idea how it works, not to talk of how it can benefit the country, they worry about short term effect on the Naira. It really can't stand though, other countries have found ways to try to regulate tge crypto cause they know it has come to stay, our own decided outright ban is what's best. What a shame 2 Likes |

That school gate has to have speed breakers, the same thing happened sometime in 2010, same type of trailer carrying tiles lost control right in front of the school gate. Trailer couldn't climb the hilly road, it went on auto reverse clearing everything on its path. Finally came to a stop before the market. It would have been deadly because it was a market day. They really need to work on that narrow road. |

It's not about her, it's about you. You need to put your house in order and understand that what really matters is your decision. Why should you worry about age to get into marriage in the first place. Please don't blame her. Ladies are emotional beings, never say words you don't mean, they don't forget. She loved you enough to marry you even when you didn't have even money for dowry. Please think about the children when they start coming i guess that would motivate you to do what it takes to make things work. Get a side hustle or what ever. Safest investment is sth you can touch and also liquidate at will, 2015/16 was when i lost a lot of money to trading, crypto, bet9ja and all that. They pay but you have to be disciplined. Most people that say how are you in Nigeria say it not coz they really are interested in knowing but coz a part of us knows its what we say when the person is younger, i personally use it for people younger than i am, I'll rather use "how's it going?" for older people. I learnt also that how was your night to a woman is a wrong question. I schooled in the west, innocent me stretch hand to shake my HOD in year one, see eye when the man take look me, body tell me make i drop hand after em hang my hand. I never did that again to elders in the west. So it's the culture just flow with it. In China they retain their culture till date even though they wear suits now, so let's just respect it. 1 Like |
