Ambode : NBA Epe thanks Lagos assembly for stopping impeachment process, cautions against reoccurrence The Nigerian bar association (NBA), Epe branch has thanked the Lagos state house of assembly under the leadership of Hon. Mudashiru Obasa for halting the impeachment plans of the executive governor of Lagos state, Akinwummi Ambode after he was alleged to have spent funds not approved by the house. The impeachment threats which started few weeks ago has put Governor Akinwummi Ambode in the face of travails and has caused mixed feelings among the supporters of the governor and several observers. It is worthy of being noted that shortly after the clamour for the impeachment began in the house, there was protests which locked the streets of Lagos down against the impeachment of the governor. However, on Sunday, 3rd of February, 2018, reports making rounds had it that the National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) had waded in and the controversies has been resolved. Following this, a statement from the Nigerian Bar Association Epe was released to thank the National leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Speaker of the house of assembly, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, other APC stalwarts for their timely intervention to save the governor from impeachment and warned against same issue coming up again, else, a legal redress in a court of competent jurisdiction will be sought ‘’Though we believe that a permanent solution has been found to the issues leading to the threat of impeachment, NBA Epe would want to categorically state that while it appreciates the fact that this is not a temporary measure or a political settlement, it will not waste time in seeking legal redress in a court of competent jurisdiction of the issue arises again’’. Furthermore, NBA called the notice of the Lagos state house of assembly to address the conflict in section 122 of the constitution of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended) ‘’If the appropriation bill in respect of any financial year has not been passed into law by the beginning of the financial year, the governor may authorize the withdrawal of moneys from the consolidated revenue fund for the purpose of meeting expenditure necessary to carry on the services of the government for a period not exceeding six months or until the coming into operation of the law, whichever is earlier’’ and section 22 of the Finance (Control and Management) law of Lagos state with respect to how the governor can spend part of the appropriation bill before same is passed into law by the house of assembly.

…Earmarks 54% To Capital Expenditure, 46% For Recurrent …Targets N775.2bn IGR, To Complete Major Ongoing Projects Lagos State Governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode on Tuesday presented the year 2019 budget proposal of N852.316billion to the House of Assembly, with a pledge that it had been carefully prepared to be all-encompassing and dedicated to complete major ongoing projects in the State. The Governor said N462.757billion representing 54 percent of the total budget size had been earmarked for capital expenditure, while N389.560billion representing 46 percent had been dedicated to recurrent expenditure, saying that key projects such as the Oshodi-Murtala Mohammed International Airport Road and Oshodi Interchange Terminal, among others would be completed. He said from inception of his administration, nine key areas were given priority after careful assessment of the needs of the citizens, adding that such had informed the massive investment in the said sectors which he listed to include security, transport / traffic management, economy -including tourism and agriculture, housing, education, health, infrastructure - social and physical, water, wealth creation - skill acquisition/microfinance, e-Governance and enhanced capacity building, sustainable environment and smart city projects. Giving details of what informed the budget size, Governor Ambode said the performance of Y2018 budget of N1.046trn as at November 2018 stood at 60 percent owing to reduction in revenue projections, while the total revenue stood at N530.192billion. According to him, “In the outgoing year, however, we experienced a reduction in our revenue projections, which affected our projected performance and our desired implementation of the Y2018 Budget. The overall Budget performance as at November 2018 stood at 60 per cent/N574,206billion with actual cumulative total revenue of N530,192billion/64 per cent, Capital Expenditure closed at N311,930billion/49 per cent and Recurrent Expenditure performed at N262,276billion/82 per cent. “In preparing the Year 2019 Budget, therefore, we were very mindful of the out-going year performance, the yearnings of our people and the fact that we are going into an election year. Consequently, we are today presenting a Budget that will be all-encompassing, reflect the level of resources that will be available and with special consideration to the completion of major on-going projects in the State.” While outlining the key components of the Y2019 budget and the sectoral allocations, the Governor said with priority given to completion of major infrastructure projects and smooth transition to the next administration, the government was proposing a total budget size of ‘N852,316,936,483,’ including a deficit financing of N77.086billion which is expected to be sourced from internal loans and other sources. He added: “The projected total revenue for Year 2019 is ₦775.231billion, of which₦606.291billion is expected to be generated internally, ₦168.940billion is expected from Federal Transfers while a total of ₦77.086billion will be sourced through deficit financing within our medium term expenditure framework. “In 2019, as was with our previous budgets, Economic Affairs still dominates the sectoral allocation of the proposed budget. This is due to our continued focus on the completion of major on-going projects such as: Oshodi-Murtala Mohammed International Airport Road; Agege Pen Cinema Flyover; Phase II of Aradagun-Iworo -Epeme Road, Oshodi Interchange Terminal; completion of JK Randle Complex, Onikan Stadium; Imota Rice Mill; Renovation/Furnishing of Lagos Revenue House, amongst others in order to meet their specified deliverable outcomes without any bias or prejudice to others.” Expressing optimism that the revenues of the State would improve in 2019, Governor Ambode said the government had begun consolidating on the already established public financial management and technology-driven revenue reforms through data integration and use of multi-payment channels, just as he said that every strata of the society would benefit from the budget. “The Year 2019 Budget has been carefully planned to accommodate all and sundry; women, youth and physically challenged, young and old. We will continue to spread development to all part of our state even as we embark on effective transition knowing fully well that the implementation, failure or success of the Budget depend on all of us,” he said. Besides, Governor Ambode commended the Speaker and members of the Assembly for the support accorded his administration in the last three and half years, while also acknowledging the role of Royal Fathers, Religious leaders, members of the Business Community, Professional Bodies, Development Partners, Non-Governmental Organisations, public servants and all residents as well as members of the fourth estate of the realm for their various support and contribution during the lifespan of his administration. In his remarks, Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon Mudashiru Obasa expressed optimism that the budget would be of great benefit to the people of the State, just as he assured that the House would work with the executive to pass the budget. http://trixxng.com/ambode-presents-n852-316bn-y2019-budget-to-house-of-assembly/

Meet Prophet S.K Abiara’s Substantial Treasure, Elijah Taiwo Abiara who is an Oracle of GOD Shaking the City of Ibadan The joy of every parent is to see their children excel in life and not just to be a success, but to be a success in a very virtuous path. Parents see this as a thing of joy when their children follow the route which they are in especially when it is the path of God. One of the few people who are lucky to have their children follow their path is Popular Prophet, SK Abiara, the founder of CAC, Agbala Itura. Hardly does anyone not know about this great man of God judging by how mightily God has worked through him in form of wonders, miracles, to mention a few. However, it has been revealed that he has an influential treasure from his home which has been discovered. He is no other than Prophet Elijah Taiwo Abiara who is the General Overseer of Vineyard Of Comfort Assembly, a church that has been in existence for four years and situated in Oluyole Estate, Ibadan. It is worthy of being noted that his church is different from that of his father and might cause people to start wondering the reasons behind it. The General Overseer divulges this in an interview with Conquest International’s Editor, BAMIDELE ADEYEMI. ‘Vineyard of Comfort Assembly is basically ‘Agbala Itura’, and we all know CAC Agbala Itura is originated by my father so, we came up with Vineyard of Comfort Assembly because there is no one that starts a church without getting directions from the Lord. The Lord asked us to start a ministry and we thought and prayed about it, we are from CAC but we don’t want to put limitations to our ministry; we want people to be able to worship with us from every denomination without adding any doctrine to it. So, we decided to have Vineyard of Comfort assembly without attaching any denomination to it; it’s still a subsidiary of Agbala Itura but we just want to be able reach out to the whole world without limit’. In Nigeria today, we have thousands of churches and still counting. Most of the churches came into existence without a serious purpose but the case is different here, especially for the fact that Pastor Elijah Taiwo Abiara was living in the United States of America before God asked him to come to Nigeria to start a ministry. He also revealed the purpose of the ministry: ‘’The main focus of the church is to reach out to people through the love of God. There are many ministries and churches all over but we basically focus on the love itself. Our believe is that we don’t condemn or judge; we accept people from any background, if you come to worship with us; rich or poor, it doesn’t matter, all we want to do is to show the love of God to everyone, having said that, in our ministry; we impact lives, we don’t care about the riches and numbers in the church, we care about the numbers of lives our ministry has impacted so we are impacting lives every day. There was a member that when he came to us, his parents had rejected him and when we realize this; we stepped in and by God’s grace today, we helped him with a school, graduated and now he has a good job. So many situations like that, even in marriage, we have another branch of the church called Love and Family, it’s an N.G.O and the purpose is to impact marriages. We have come to realize that community is built from home, if the home is settled, our children will go out to show love to people; we are impacting life from every means. Of course, being the son of a renowned Man of God, the way he will be treated or seen is different from the way other children are seen. As a son of Man of God, they expect him to be perfect and behave exactly like his father. He talked about how life has been being the son of the prominent Prophet. ‘Being the son of a minister, you have a lot of pressure on you, the pressure to be like your father, you can’t do like every other child is doing because you are being judged as the son of your father. For instance, if I am driving or being drove and someone did something bad on the road, I will just keep quiet, I can’t talk because we are being judged especially knowing I’m Abiara’s son. People easily judge me even when I’m on my right. I wasn’t interested when I wanted to start the work of the ministry; I was in the US for over twenty years, it got to a point where God was looking for me. If I go to worship at the white people’s church, they will be prophesying to me that God has a use for me and I will tell them I wasn’t interested because I had it in my heart I wanted to be a millionaire by age 35 and God is good to us; we were doing great. I told my wife we must have close to 100 homes before I’m 35 and when I started the business, I had up to ten houses within a year. I have started doing my business before God called me; I rejected but God used my wife to start the assignment of the ministry so, looking back at life now, I thank God having my father as a man of integrity, it proves to us as his children; ‘we have to work on that integrity and that is path VOCA is on for the past three years now’. Nothing good comes easy especially in the ministry, lots of challenges facing ministers and Prophet Elijah also has a story to share in that light. ‘We had challenges, we had pressure of knowing who my father is, and the pressure whereby people expect you to spend money like your father and because of this, we are very circumspect when it comes to people approaching us, advising us on what to do. Basically, they are not judging the church by how old we are but according to whom we are. Some people are expecting us to be flying by now but we thank God for his grace’ Shockingly in Nigeria, despite the large numbers of church we have, the rate of sin keeps increasing and this shouldn’t be so. While answering the question on that, he reveals the problem is that most churches don’t preach, they only pray. ‘I lived in the United States for 20years and the lord asked me to come back home, it was a very tough decision for me and my family because it took 3-6 months crying every day and even up till now, I still tells my wife, there are many pastors here and why does God want us in this land but, one thing I have realized is most of the churches, I’m not criticizing anybody, we lack the word of God, we all grew up in this country ,all we think of is prayers over enemies and that’s all we are being taught in church but looking at our surroundings, the application of God’s word is lacking. The word of God has been compromised for money purposes in churches today’ In Christendom, one of the issues that has drawn so many controversies from different angles is the issue of tithing, some school of thought believe tithing is a thing of the old testament, some believe it’s not biblical, However, Pastor Elijah Taiwo Abiara reveals that it is biblical. ‘When it comes to tithing, it is not controversial, in the bible, Abraham brought tithe after he was blessed by the priest of the most high, if you are getting blessed in any church; you should activate Abraham’s deeds, because we do claim the promise of Abraham but we don’t practice what Abraham did; Abraham didn’t hear any preaching, he was directed by the spirit of God to pay the tithe unto that priest. Anywhere you are being blessed, I am a pastor and sincerely there are some pastors who live lavishly, church tithe are not enough for most ministries, it is the blessings of God from different expanses that help ministries. I was born and grew up in the church and I can tell you things about growing up seeing my father, it wasn’t tithe that blesses him but God’s blessings. We can’t judge a pastor living extravagantly, judgment is for God, if you know the living God, nobody will force you to pay tithe. Muslim use to say giving is the foundation of their religion and they give a lot, and also get blessed so much but the case is different when it comes to us’ When he was asked about Nigeria in the era of election and we have seen pastors taking sides in politics. The proactive Man of God advised ministers not to choose between the candidates rather they should allow their members to vote for their choice of candidates themselves. He never wanted to become a pastor but a pilot; he went to school of Pilot in Florida but later changed his major because his mother was scared of him flying a plane ‘I wanted to become a pilot when I was young. I actually attended a pilot school in Florida before my mother got frightened, she kept saying she doesn’t want me to fly a plane because of plane crash, so I ended up changing my concentration; I went into something else and graduated. I’m on my masters already and almost done with it’ Finally, he advised youths ambitious to work for God ‘Be sure you have God’s calling, people’s road map in the ministry will be different from yours; you must follow God’s directives in the ministry. You must love God with all your heart and extend the love to his people. Every young and old minister must follow God’.

An aviation expert, Dr Yakubu Dazhia, has told a Lagos High Court in Igbosere that an aircraft flew too close to a Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) building soon before it collapsed on September 12, 2014, killing 116 people. The dead comprised 84 South Africans, 1 Zimbabwean, among others, while many more suffered injuries. Dazhia, who introduced himself as an aircraft engineer, aviation consultant and airline operator, said the plane had been identified as a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Hercules C130 training aircraft. He told Justice Lateef Lawal-Akapo that the plane was captured on closed circuit television (CCTV) flying well below the 1000ft flight altitude recommended by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO). But the Lagos State Government questioned Dazhia's competence and the genuineness of his doctorate degree. Its counsel, Dr Babajide Martins, suggested that Albion College in Stansted, London, which issued Dazhia's Ph.D in 2011, might not be recognised in the United Kingdom (UK). Dazhia spoke during continuation of trial of four defendants - two engineers and their firms - for the building collapse deaths. The defendants are: Oladele Ogundeji and Akinbela Fatiregun charged alongside their companies - Hardrock Construction and Engineering Company and Jandy Trust Ltd. They are facing a 110-count charge of involuntary manslaughter said to contravene Section 222 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011. A fifth defendant, the Registered Trustees of SCOAN is facing a count of building without approval. The Lagos State Government said the Trustees violated Section 75 of the Urban and Regional Planning Law of Lagos State, 2010. All defendants were arraigned on April 19, 2016. They pleaded ‘not guilty’. At the resumed hearing of the matter on Friday, Dazzhia was led in evidence by Olamilekan Ojo SAN, counsel for the Registered Trustees of SCOAN. The witness told the court that the ICAO recommended safe altitude for flight in a congested area such as Ikotun Egbe, where the collapsed SCOAN building was located, is 1,000ft "No aircraft, except for takeoff and landing, should fly over a congested area at a minimum of 1,000 feet or 300 metres between the aircraft and the highest obstacle in a congested area. Meaning that the distance between the aircraft and the tallest building in that area should not be less than 1,000ft," he said. Dazhia, an elders' council member of Winners Chapel but who worshipped at SCOAN whenever he visited Lagos in the last 10 years, said he was in Abuja when the building collapsed but that he flew to Lagos and, the next day (September 13), alongside a Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Aviation, "assisted in the operation to rescue people that were trapped. "On the 14th, a Sunday, we were shown the CCTV footage (of the incident). The camera was at Gate 5 of SCOAN. The distance from Gate 5 to the building was less than 500 metres." The witness told the judge that the CCTV's vertical view could "not go beyond 200 metres." "We discovered that that this aircraft flew very close to the building. If it was flying according to regulations, the CCTV wouldn't have captured it." He said he and several church members, including six or seven pilots, were told the plane was an Air Force aircraft and it was for training. "They mentioned that training with aircraft was to be only done in Ilorin, which has the longest runway in the federation. Why were they training in Lagos?" he wondered. When Ojo asked for his observation about the incident, Dazhia posed a question for the pilot of the aircraft. He said: "As a professional, I insist that only the pilot knows why he was flying at a low altitude. That is all I have to say." But under cross examination by Martins, Dazhia agreed that although he had an engineering degree, his Ph.D "has nothing to do with aircraft engineering." He also noted that he was not an aircraft traffic controller, a bomb expert or accident investigator. Neither did he lodge any complaint about the incident to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Organisation (NCAO). When Martin's asked: "You didn't inform the Air Force about your concern?" Dazhia, amused, responded: "You wanted them to gun me down, to kill me?" The witness also agreed with the prosecutor that measuring a plane's altitude required special equipment. "An individual can't do that with the naked eyes," he said. Martins: "Ikotun is a flight path? Dazhia: "Yes." Martins: "It is not unusual for planes to pass over Ikotun as part of a flight path? Dazhia: "Yes." Following the conclusion of cross-examination, Justice Lawal-Akapo adjourned further proceedings till march 14.

Meet the Huge Brain behind Adron Homes Commercials, Oluwakemi Arewa, Group Head, Brand and Corporate communications + How she became a Media Guru with 14 years of robust experience. When one take a good look at the TV Commercials, Radio Commercials and some of the media skits of Adron Homes; the groundbreaker homes merchant in Africa, one would begin to wonder if the brains behind them are not Nigeria’s, such quality as believed comes from foreigners who are vast in that aspect but shockingly, the brain behind them isn’t far-fetched, they are all the ideas and contents of Oluwakemi Arewa, the Group Head, Brand and Corporate communications for Adron Group; she also doubles as PR executive and consultant for the leading real estate merchant. Oluwakemi Arewa didn’t just come into the business from nowhere; she has been into the Media world for over 14 years of serious practice. She started in 2005 with Eko FM, after having her National Diploma Programme at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, she started three different programs with EKo FM, she later joined Continental TV services; owners of TVC and Radio Continental and got promoted six months later as a presenter on radio, and on TV. She had a radio program called entertainment weekly, a TV program called showbiz weekly, and was also reporting the news, due to her potentials. All these happened between 2007 - 2009. For her, working for Adron Homes isn’t just about how much she is paid; it’s about adding value to humanity. In her words ‘’ Adron Homes and Properties is the number 1, I joined Adron because of its vision in terms of meeting shelter needs. I saw the vision and the passion and also the value they add. I believe in value, it comes before money, if you add value, people will respect you. I calls Aare Adetola Emmanuel (GMD) my dad because whenever I look at him, I see intelligence, I see a mentor, I see an Inventor, because he's is hardworking, and also a philanthropist who has affected our society in a positive way. The upmost trust he placed in my abilities makes me always go the extra miles to get things done, I do overtime because I connect to his vision and objectives. It’s a privilege to be at this position’’. It would be recalled that Adron Homes held one of the biggest concert of 2018 recently called ‘Festival of Lemon’, the concert remains one of the most talked about and this is due to the kind of commercials that were put out to make people get to know about it even before it took place; the kudos goes to her and her content. She also spoke about how she went about it and also one of the promo she worked on. “Festival of lemon was big; we had a lot of advantage because we put together the programme for staff and clients. We deployed an emotional approach to advertising and also played with numbers. We created an exciting and informative content for TV and radio via the use of jingles and of course we also talked about bonuses, benefits and free gifts Everyone was really interested because everything we talked about on TV and radio was genuine. It was big, we had to use what we have; we have the A list artists, so we used them to create content. For TV, we used their songs; there's was a voice over that talked about the benefits, aside the fact that we were giving land, we gave home appliances too; everyone would want to benefit. For the Independence promo, we played on the strategy of product benefit and bonuses while telling stories adaptable to each of our ambassadors, this made it easy for the public to relate with the brand. However, it is not just out of ordinary that one cooks up such amazing contents, she talked about what inspires her. ‘’God is my inspiration, I draw my inspiration from him; when I pray, I see things; when I read the bible, I see things, it’s like they are putting a video of things I need to do in my head, I hear things when I’m working, I just feel it, that's why I don’t stop, I don't get distracted, and it's also a matter of exposure. If you are a content person, you need to read wide, look at what people do, I watch what other companies does, I see how they organize their advert, it might not be the same way but you will get your creativity and put things together’’ She also speaks about her next level I want to emerge, evolve and take over, my vision is to be the next big thing in the world of PR in Nigeria and beyond, I’m looking forward to becoming a global champion in the world of PR and advertising. This requires that I constantly upgrade myself, my skills and the knowledge I have right now. It's very important because, to be the light in any sector you have to shine and to shine you need to be connected to constant energy. Energy in real sense simply means information, skills upgrade, and constant education When you stop learning, you start dying. So for me, I’m constantly taking steps to progress.

MEET APC FLAGBEARER FOR OYO STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY, EGBEDA LG, HON. USMAN OLALEKAN BURAIMOH + WHY HE IS THE BEST MAN FOR THE JOB The game of politics in Nigeria has left a lot of people amazed; the way it is being played from the local level to the federal level. We have all experience politics filled with violence, thuggery, corruption, vote buying, to mention a few. It has now become like it is meant for some certain set of people, it has become like only some people are fit to practice politics. Most people don’t even get to know their representatives because they came up as a result of god-fatherism and someone that hasn’t even been to a particular constituency all his life can emerge as the representative. However, a reformation is about to take place In Oyo state House of Assembly, Egbeda constituency as the APC Flag-bearer, Hon Usman Olelekan Buraimoh, AKA Ultra, has a very different story from others who has sat in this same position. Usman Olalekan Braimoh, Aka Ultra, grew up in Ibadan, from Lamini compound. He had his entire Primary and Secondary School Education in Oyo state. He then proceeded to Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) to where he got a Diploma in Law. Thereafter, He went to Lead City University, Ibadan formally Ambrose’s Alli University; he had accreditation issue so his parents told him to embark on some professional courses. I did computer and networking, I had my DBA, MCSE, in ABTEC, and I had the opportunity to travel abroad to the University of Leicester, I finished as a computer and information forensic, then I later proceeded to the University Of Teesside for my Masters. I came back, got another degree in International Relations, and went to University of Ibadan (UI) to study German language. When moving round the streets of Ibadan, Oyo state, precisely Egbeda Local Government, the kind of encomium he receives is almost like that of a governor which shows how loved he is in the community and his constituency. While speaking with journalists about his ambition; when asked, he revealed the reason behind it. “I don’t give them money, I listen to them and in every situation, I put myself in their shoes, I have had to beg for money. I trekked from Challenge to Iwo road, because one destiny helper assisted my academics tussles with N5,000 and I couldn’t remove N70 transport fare from it, because I thought to myself; removing transport fare from that money would hinder the plans of using the money to obtain my Jamb form; If I had someone to give me 100naira that day, the person would have been my god. Hence, I try to be the answer to people’s immediate prayer; they rally round me because I listen to them” One of his major plans for the people which others don’t have is bringing government close to the people, making the people know their representative; although, he has no issue with the people of Egbeda Local Government identifying him. He has lived there all his life, played ball on every field in the local government, knows almost everybody in every junction, been to every spots since he was a child but it is always about bridging the gap between the people and government and bridging the gap between the government and the people. While speaking on how to implement this, he talked about his strategies. ‘’ If I say people should expect good governance, it has been over said. What they should expect is, Government of their own, by their own and for their own. I can tell you the junctions in Egbeda, they know I am one of them and what they should expect is bringing government and its gospel to every door step. like they all know, one of the first thing I’m going to do is to establish a constituency office in every ward which others don’t do, I will be separating party from governance; In larger wards where they have enormous population, if I may, I would have two or three constituency office there. They don’t want my money but they want to have complaint points, where to report their grievances. Others took government far to them, you only see your representatives on TV, I have never seen our present Representative before, he is going about begging for votes; he won’t get re-election, people are now wise. When you bring government to the people you will not do much, when they see you here today and talk to them; they will spread your ideas, visions and efforts you are putting together to serve them. I’m not contesting because I want to be anything. Aside from the title and the prestige, I want to create leverage for my children, grandchildren, to ride upon. The incoming Governor of this state who is Adelabu’s grandson rode on the pedestal of his grandfather; I want to consent that legacy for my grandchildren. His election will be a walk-over, look around, it is him or him because his father has done well for the people. I told my team that we have to make a communal development every month, I have 48months to represent our people which means I would have affected 48 communities’ Furthermore, while speaking on godfatherism in APC, he revealed that the Party has nothing to do with such. ‘Progressive has nothing to do with godfatherism, it’s about giving honour to whom it is due, godfatherism is separated from governance, Tinubu isn’t a godfather, he is a great leader who took Lagos, Southwest, Nigeria to where they ought to be’.

The Asset Management Company has reacted to reports that former Nigeria international Nwankwo Kanu had his medals stolen at The Hardley Apartments, saying there were no medals in the hotel owned by the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games gold medallist, when they took possession of the property. The hotel, located in Victoria Island, Lagos, has been at the centre of a long-running legal dispute between Kanu and AMCON. Kanu was alleged to have used The Hardley Apartments as collateral for a bank loan but was unable to settle the debt, which prompted AMCON in 2015 to obtain an order from the Federal High Court to take possession of the property. AMCON said it took an inventory of the property after its takeover, saying it did not include any medals as claimed by Kanu. Kanu, one of Africa’s most decorated footballers, told journalists on Monday in Lagos that medals and souvenirs, which he won during his football career, had disappeared at the hotel. “This is the saddest day of my life as I cannot understand why this happened to me. All the medals I have earned, in addition to the Olympic Torch that I cherished, are all gone and I don’t even know who to ask for all these prized assets,” the former Ajax player said. However, in a statement on Wednesday, AMCON said the stories of the disappearance of Kanu’s laurels were an attempt to mislead the public and create sentiments in favour of the former Super Eagles captain. The statement, signed by AMCON’s Head, Corporate Communications, Jude Nwauzor, said, “AMCON is not in the habit of joining issues with obligors on the pages of newspapers especially when the matter is in court as in this one. “It is noteworthy that similar clarification was made by the corporation in 2017, when the debtor claimed that AMCON had illegally taken over his hotel. However, as a law abiding recovery agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria, we are at all times guided by the law and would continue to act accordingly irrespective of obligor’s social, political or economic status. “The public is hereby informed that these stories are meant to instigate sentiments in the media and the public on the true position of the indebtedness of The Hardley Apartments (promoted by Nwankwo Kanu) to the corporation. “We also want to put on record that having exhausted all avenues of peaceful resolution as a result of the huge debt; extended on so many invitations for discussion, which were turned down, AMCON in 2015 obtained an order from the Federal High Court, which granted the corporation possession of The Hardley Apartments located at No. 46 Waziri Ibrahim Crescent, Off Elsie Femi – Pearse Crescent, Off Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island in Lagos State, being the asset pledged as collateral for the loan. “The procedure was done with the court bailiff and inventory of property was taken, which did not include any medals as claimed. This order still subsists, pending the determination of the substantive matter. The public should therefore please disregard these misrepresentations as we await the pronouncement of the court on the matter.” http://trixxng.com/kanu-lied-there-was-no-medal-in-the-hotel-amcon-reveals/

Prophecy Confirmation: How FANO's Pro. Samuel Akinbodunse prophesied Felix Tshisekedi Victory As Congo's President When God speaks, the wise listens! Interestingly, another major prophecies of God through Prophet Samuel Akinbodunse has just been fulfilled less than two weeks. The Man of God predicted that amidst tension he sees Felix Tshisekedi Winning the presidential election of Congo When the result would be released: CONGO Lets pray that letter 2 shouldn’t be letter 1 and letter 2 should not take letter 1 to court for justice. Lets pray that this election will not be manipulated and there will be no court case. Lets pray that the judiciary shouldn’t face the toughest challenge in the history of the country but I see two parties that merge together over taking the horse that has been celebrating for sometime but we should pray they should not cripple the four feet of the horse. I see ‘F’ and I see Seat. I see ‘F’ and I see staff but it will be tough. Lets pray. And true to the prophecy, the Democratic Republic of Congo is set to see its first handover of power in 18 years after opposition candidate Felix Tshisekedi was on Thursday named by election officials as the provisional winner of an historic presidential poll. The election’s supervisors had faced mounting pressure at home and abroad to publish the results after repeated delays stoked fears for the giant country’s stability. “Having gained… 38.57 percent of the vote, Felix Tshisekedi is provisionally declared the elected president of the Democratic Republic of Congo,” said Corneille Nangaa, the head of the Independent National Election Commission (CENI). Shouts of joy erupted at the commission’s offices as the results were announced early Thursday morning, AFP journalists reported. The DRC — a vast and poor country burdened by a history of bloodshed — has been in the grip of a two-year crisis over the succession of President Joseph Kabila, who said last year he would finally step down after nearly two decades as leader. The mineral-rich country has never had a peaceful transition of power since it gained independence from Belgium in 1960. The candidate Kabila hand-picked to succeed him, loyalist former interior minister Emmanuel Ramazani Shadary, came third in the poll. The other main opposition candidate, former oil executive Martin Fayulu came second, official results showed. The son of major Congolese political figure Etienne Tshisekedi, the 55-year-old president-elect is the head of country’s longtime main opposition party UDPS. According to the initial timetable set out by the CENI, the definitive results are due on January 15 with the swearing-in of the new president three days later. As the lengthy results were read out on nationwide TV, police were deployed at strategic spots in the capital Kinshasa where, for the second evening running, many residents went home and locked their doors early. Losing candidates, who include businessman Martin Fayulu and ruling party candidate Emmanuel Ramazani Shadary, can contest the results before the country's constitutional court, which has 10 days to hear and rule on any challenges. Could this be a warning to Nigeria that when God speaks, the wise listens? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ws0G_soRycg&feature=youtu.be

Bushiri This is certainly not the best of times for South Africa based Popular prophet, Shepherd Bushiri as South Africans said he should pack his bags and leave the community. This is certainly not unconnected with the prophesy given by Prophet Samuel Akinbodunse of FANO while dishing out his 2019 predictions. He said concerning South Africa he sees the judgment of God against fake ministers of the gospel and that it will begin in January this month. "I see God releasing judgement upon fake prophets in 2019 and it will begin in January. God said he used 2018 to expose them so they can repent but because of their stony heart he will bring judgement against them" Earlier, a group of people blocked W F Nkomo Street near Pretoria showgrounds, protesting against charismatic pastor Shepherd Bushiri of the Evangelical Christian Gathering Church. Protesters, gathered outside the Enlightened Christian Gathering Church in Pretoria, are stopping congregants from entering the church. The protesters are demanding that Bushiri address them before they allow congregants to enter the church for the regular Friday church service. Among the prophecies includes the situation of the Nigerian politics especially for the fact that Nigeria will be having her general elections in few months time. The Prophet revealed that God has chosen a youth for the post of a president in Nigeria and his name starts with ‘S’ because he has been given all it takes for transformation by God Read Below: NIGERIA I’m a bit afraid. I wept over Nigeria in the place of my prayer in 2019. If Nigeria refuse to choose right, they may suffer again for the next four years. The Lord said he has spoken to many people who have the same mind with me that the person to bring transformation is a youth and not the old men. God said a man like David, a rugged man who will have no regret, respect for non-challant attititude is the one who he chose because of the cry of the innocent. In my prayer, I still saw a man with a name ‘S’ on the seat, God said he has put into him the transformation Nigeria needs. God said he won’t force Nigeria to obey him but what will force them to obey will come upon them if they miss his word. God said when his mind and will is done in Nigeria, all these killings will stop. In Africa politics, there will be shift and crisis, some political heads will be disappointed and I see some people who have stolen from their country running to exile because of this shift that is coming. CHURCH The lord said to me more than 9 times that in 2019, he will open judgment on fake ministries, pastors , preachers of the worlds, starting from January, you will see judgment been released on fake ministries. Many secrets in Christendom and politics will be exposed in 2019. There will be plenty of harvest for true churches because I see the network that gathers crowd for fake pastors been cracked down. The righteous, holy men and women should pray harder not to be a partaker of the punishment God is releasing on fake people. SOUTH AFRICA The Lord said the gathering of the saint that was gathered and led by white men has been answered, he said he will release favor upon South Africa I see some politicians who have no fear of God being removed and replaced by those who have the fear of God. The ruling party will still rule the country. In my revelation I saw like a screen, ANC taking over Mandela by again The Lord said we should keep praying against Fire outbreak The Lord said we should pray so ANC will not lose a popular leader in 2019 because I saw a political leader, very famous leaving ANC and I saw people in the stadium to mourn this person Business will be very good in SA in 2019. ZIMBABWE I hear God saying you shouldn’t give up on your leaders, In the second quarter of 2019, there shall be plenty of food and money The lord said I should tell Hon Shamiza that he should be patient, the next coming presidential election, if he can be at peace with God and with the nation, he will be the next president but otherwise, he will lose again because God said he has spoken to him NAMIBIA The ruling party will still continue to rule but I see those who are fighting Christianity being removed. I look at a sit, I saw the current president on the same seat,I looked at the seat by his side, I see a female. Namibia should embrace loving God. I see pending promotions of people to those who are in civil service. AMERICA The Lord said President Trump will face unbearable shaking in 2019, a shaking that will lead to impeachment but God said he will overcome and finish his tenure but Foreigners should pray not to face unfavourable immigrant law. The Lord said the problem in South Sudan will come to an end in 2019 and I see great peace in the nation. CONGO Lets pray that letter 2 shouldn’t be letter 1, and letter 2 should not take letter 1 to court for justice. Lets pray that this election will not be manipulated and there will be no court case. Lets pray that the judiciary shouldn’t face the toughest challenge in the history of the country but I see two parties that merge together, over taking the horse that has been celebrating for sometime but we should pray they should not cripple the four feet of the horse. I see ‘F’ and I see Seat, I see ‘F’ and I see staff but it will be tough. Lets pray. A popular preacher will be on the run in south Africa in 2019.what is chasing him I don’t know, is it death, debt, immoralty? I don’t know. God said to me that there will be a lot of tenders awarded to people in 2019. I see south Africa coming out of Junk. http://trixxng.com/i-still-see-someone-with-the-name-s-winning-2019-presidential-election-in-nigeria-south-african-based-prophet-samuel-akinbodunse-releases-2019-prophecies/

By Levi Godsown Ekwe When a so called pastor abandons the high calling of His office as a soul winner, a teacher of the truth and a follower of Christ, such a person is of all men the most miserable. And if a man berates such an exalted office only to take the place of a jester, conman, an enemy of God’s kingdom, one who will make a nincompoop of himself just to be applauded by mere mortals, then you have a man who has lost his sole aim for living. After seeing the laughable video by Sunday Adelaja tagged Elijah Challenge on Facebook, I have come to the conclusion that Sunday belongs to Nollywood and perhaps should pursue a career in acting. Sunday Adelaja is advocating a situation where Pastors E.A. Adeboye, Dr D.K Olukoya and other great ministers of God will come together and test who is serving the living God. What a Joker!!! It’s either Sunday does not know his position as man or he is living in euphoria because under normal circumstances he is not in the league of these men be it for physical achievements or spiritual position Sunday… you dare mention the name of Adeboye to come out for a challenge, as if that was not enough you went ahead with your reckless effrontery to call the name of Dr. Daniel Olukoya? Of the mountain of fire and miracles ministries (MFM) for a challenge of fire. Ha, it’s often said that the dog that wants to get lost will never hear his masters whistle I am baffled however, that Sunday Adelaja does not realize that he’s too little and too inconsequential to get the attention of these men. There was a time when anyone could have cared to listen to what Sunday is saying, there was a time these revered men of God could have paused a second to hear Sunday’s views but not anymore. Those days are gone. Sunday Adelaja has destroyed his reputation and squandered his goodwill. I don’t expect Dr D. K Olukoya to respond to the rants of a pastor that patronizes sex workers, sleeps with mother and child , married and single members of his church. I don’t expect Pastor E.A Adeboye to take seriously a man who ran his own church to the ground, lost his job and now is resorting to social media rants. It is obvious that Mr Adelaja is struggling to survive. After losing his church he is now like a drowning man looking for anything to latch unto. The man does not even know the bible. He is one of those men whom we call cram and quote pastors. You obviously displayed your ignorance when you said a Christian should call on God instead of suing someone to court on civil matters . Hahaha very funny my friend of before, the judicial system of the world today is coined from the compendium called the bible, Even deep down to the trio compartment of Government that the world operates with today, Go back to your bible and read very well and come to understand that there are earthly matters that belong to Ceaser and there are heavenly and spiritual matters that belongs to God Adelaja’s travails are largely self-inflicted. How can a man, a mere mortal work against God’s kingdom? How can a man dedicate his time, knowledge, strength and resources into trying to pull down and tarnish the images of God’s generals and expect that God will do nothing? Sunday Adelaja is already reaping the fruits of his envy and recklessness so there is no need for any Elijah challenge. The most pitiable are those recruits. The likes of Mayowa Olaiya that has no life probably one of those supported by the remnant of Sunday Adelaja in cash and Kind , the little brat running around mentioning and speaking ill of men whom she could never come close to. When I look at these set of visionless jobless E-recruits Of Sunday, I just see little scarecrows that have planned their dooms with their own hands. He makes it seem as though what he is doing is making a lot of impact but in reality he is deepening his own misery. I used to fear that Mr Adelaja’s message of hate and division was gaining ground and destroying Christendom until I closely monitored his online activities and realized that indeed God is liberating His people despite Adelaja’s efforts. I am encouraged that Mr Adelaja is not capturing as many victims as he would want to, going by the many expressions of utter disappointment by his very own followers. From the comments and feedback he’s getting, Sunday already knows that his cash out plan of coming to establish a church in Nigeria is at best, dead on arrival. But again, it’s Sunday Adelaja we are talking about here right? He just might take the chance but certainly an unpleasant surprise awaits him. His so called followers and of course, prospective members are already getting tired of his of lies and deceitful message. He has been tagged anti-Christ, sour loser, envious fraudster and so many similar names by his own followers who have now seen him for who he actually is. I predict that Sunday will face his biggest shame soon. Sunday Adelaja, for your information there shall be no Elijah challenge. But I guess you already know because by status, personality and reputation you fall short of a man who can be taken serious by the men you are challenging. I think you should focus on your new job of marketing politicians second term bid. It seems like a very lucrative account and I am not judging you for switching from being a pastor to becoming an advocate for politicians. I understand that you must survive and feed your family. I mean what is left for a man who has lost his church, lost his job, lost his purpose in life? Well, just a piece of advice for you, politics is a more murkier terrain to navigate and you have already started with your big mouth calling a particular candidate a thief, Sunday this is your last chance at survival so don’t mess it up like you’ ve messed up your pastoral career. But one thing I would like you to have at the back of your mind is that the feats that Pastor DK olukoya has covered as a deliverance minister and a teacher and the souls that Pastor E.A Adeboye has brought to Christ, You and your E-recruits and your generation unborn will never meet up even in another lifetime For those of you still in doubt of his narcissist and lascivious activities watch this video attached done by one of his former followers that has been touched by God . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGX42ZnWvOU&feature=youtu.be

Since the unfortunate collapse of the guest house of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) on September 12, 2014, the pain that followed for families of the deceased and senior prophet T.B. Joshua was unimaginable. In a moving tribute in remembrance of the departed martyrs of faith, Prophet Joshua earlier this year stated that “From eternity’s perspective, death is not a period; it is only a comma because of Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. "When a believer dies, he goes into glory, where there is no conflict. Heaven is our home. A man may die young yet be satisfied with living but a wicked man is not satisfied even with long life.” It has been four long years but the memory of the righteous is never forgotten. Sadly, the Lagos State government has only been drawn in a legal battle against the prophet since the unfortunate incident. This should not be so. Prophet Joshua has been using his God-given resources to ensure that the memory of the deceased and the care of the families they left behind are duly catered to. It will be recalled that a similar incident occurred in Akwa Ibom State following the building collapse of Reigners Bible Church in 2016, leading to many deaths. Despite the loss of human life, the Akwa Ibom State government has only been consistent in providing succour to the presiding pastor of the church and those affected. The Akwa Ibom State governor, Emmanuel Udom, went a step further by absolving the pastor of the church of any blame. Aside this, the government stood against pressing legal proceedings and instead has been providing financial and moral support for those affected including the pastor. But the case of Prophet TB Joshua has not been so. Despite his immense contributions to Lagos State and to Nigeria as a whole, he has only received vilifications which should not be. It will be recalled that security camera footage that indicated the orchestrated collapse of the SCOAN building has been admitted in court yet the Lagos State government has not stopped its legal battle. The Lagos government should take a cue from the Akwa Ibom government in being supportive and stop its prolonged fight. A fight against God’s prophet is a fight against the almighty creator himself. The true Christian is encouraged to believe by the word of God that the journey of the believer only begins here but the goal is Heaven where God lives and has His throne. In his message, while celebrating the memory of these departed Christians, Prophet Joshua calls for more trust and confidence in Jesus Christ. According to him, “Whether we die young or old, what matters is the grace to continue living hereafter. It is now four years since our beloved brothers and sisters slept in the Lord. We must realise that their death is an unavoidable call – a call to our Heavenly home that no one can disobey. “Jesus said that if you do not take up your cross and deny yourself daily and perhaps even get killed for your belief in Him, you are not worthy of Him (Matthew 10:38, Matthew 16:24). The level at which satan attacks us seems to be equal to the level of our commitment to the Lord. I don’t think enough people understand this. If you are totally committed to God, He will take up satan’s challenge against you. “As soon as we make a true conversion, a commitment asking Jesus to purchase us, we become Jesus’ property. Then satan hates us the same way he hates Jesus. That is why the moment we are truly saved, we are engaged in a phenomenal battle (John 15:18-22). We cannot separate warfare from salvation. True salvation is going to put you into direct conflict with satan. "Many of us would say, “Why should I suffer or die? After all, Jesus won the victory on the Cross and suffered for me?” But the question we need to ask ourselves is, “What did Jesus say?” He said, “I have said unto you, the servant is not greater than his Master. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you” (John 15:20). “Anyone who claims that he does not have to suffer because Jesus did it for him is indirectly saying that he is greater than his Master. He is actually contradicting what Jesus said. Basically, we need to give up our lives here on earth and gain eternal life in Heaven. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, we are accepting citizenship in Heaven and death here on earth. “Once Christ purchases us, we become aliens here on earth and there is a barrier between us and everything here on earth. We are servants, we simply obey the command of our Master. We do not decide what suffering we must bear. “Many people have been serving the Lord fervently and have come into difficult life situations because of being mistreated by either wicked men or carnal Christians. The truth is that they have been treated unjustly. But to become offended would only fulfil the enemy’s purpose of getting them out of the will of God. If you stay free from offence, you will stay in God’s will. If you become offended, you will be taken captive by the enemy to fulfil his own purpose and will. “If we are Christ’s followers, we must follow His example. If He could forgive the people who were killing Him, we can certainly find a way to forgive those who hurt us. When we cannot forgive, we hurt ourselves more than anyone. Nursing a grudge damages our heart. Life is too short to waste our time on things that have no lasting value or significance. “From eternity’s perspective, death is not a period; it is only a comma because of Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. When a believer dies, he goes into glory, where there is no conflict. Heaven is our home. A man may die young yet be satisfied with living but a wicked man is not satisfied even with long life. “Those who try to kill us are only helping us to go home and rest. But those who send us home will go into further conflict; they will have more questions to answer than when they were alive. The wicked seem to prosper now and live without a care but they will spend eternity in terror and despair. “How can we honour the memory of the martyrs of faith? Endeavour by the grace of God to live for the Lord and give yourself to the needs of others. Romans 14:8 – “If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.” What a blessed memorial!” The government and people of Akwa Ibom has shown a template of temperance which the Lagos State government should.

Two days before my 38th birthday on September 17th, I welcomed my first child, my son, Jayce. I look at him and I wonder why I waited so long to have a child. I’ve never known love like this. I literally have tears in my eyes every time I look at him. I can’t believe he came out of me. He is by far my greatest blessing and I’m looking forward to navigating him through life! Now to the reason why you are reading this. I argued with myself for a long time whether to put this out or not…and finally decided it was a story I wanted to share. I've always been open about my life but I'm sharing details about my personal life mostly because of the girls who look up to me. The girls I have mentored, mentoring right now and plan to mentor in the future. I’m very particular about our young girls and I have personally tried over the years to be an example in some way; tried to teach these girls how to fight for their dreams, how to live right and do right and then I go and have a child out of wedlock and that must be a little confusing to some of them and especially with so many untruthful stuff out there about me. The most hilarious is that I had a child for a married man. Lol. Here’s my answer to that! The married man that I will sleep with has not yet been born. If he’s been born, he will die, be buried, rise and die again before he will lay with me. I don’t do married men. The father of my child is a single man and his name is Sholaye Jeremi. To be honest, at some point I thought he was my final bus stop but you know how life happens...lol. Unfortunately he and I are a completely closed chapter. Sadly for our son Jayce, it’s the kind of chapter that can’t ever be opened again. One of the things many people have asked me is how I met this man because we don’t run in the same circle. Well, I met him 3 years ago at Wheatbaker Restaurant in Ikoyi in December 2015 shortly after I moved to my home in Banana Island, Ikoyi. It was a day after Christmas and I was having dinner with friends when he walked in. He saw me and the rest is history. He claimed at the time that he had never heard of me which was seriously a turn-on for me because up until then I’d only been meeting men who behaved like fans. At the time we met, I was 35 and he was 37 and I’d been single for nearly 4 years. I was definitely searching and I fell in love almost immediately and so we became an item. At the time I met him he lived in a 3-bedroom flat at what used to be 5th roundabout in Lekki after Mobil. I used to drive for almost two hours in traffic from my house to go see him. Most of the time, I carried my laptop to his home to enable me to work and at the same time spend the whole day with him. It was a whirlwind romance. He was the funniest and most romantic guy I’d met up until that point, so it was easy to fall in love and I truly believed the feeling was mutual. A few weeks after we met, it seemed like we were planning a future together. This man was already calling me Linda Ikeji Jeremi and making all these plans but then just like that, it was over between us. I went from waking up every morning to love text messages from him to no more calls. I was just thanking God for finally sending me my own man when all of a sudden we were no longer talking to each other. Later he would tell me what scared him off. My public life. He claims he’s a private business man and didn’t want the attention being with me would bring to him and I told him I understood and we went our separate ways. We tried to get back together in 2016 but it didn't work out so much so we separated again but stayed in touch (mostly him to be honest), stayed friends and that was how our back and forth started. By mid-2017, we were both still single and we started seeing each other again quietly. There were times it was very intense and we talked about a future together, and there were times that I couldn’t figure out what exactly I was doing with this guy. We were not suited for each other. Totally different lifestyles. And there was the problem of my fame. I walked away from this man a million times and he came after me a million and one times. No matter how much I pushed him away, he kept coming back and me, because I couldn’t find anyone else, I kept going back. Lol. So I was basically going back to my ex because I couldn’t find anyone else. *sigh*. Then I fell pregnant. It wasn’t planned, it just happened; though we talked about having a child together just two months before I fell pregnant. He said something about putting a billionaire baby inside me and I remember jokingly telling him that I’m also a billionaire so our child was going to be a billionaire on both side...and we laughed. But after I fell pregnant, things became extremely weird between us. If I tried to explain what happened, I wouldn’t be able to because it was confusing to me. We went from talking about the pregnancy and being okay with it; he even suggested I go to Dubai for my pre-natals as he didn’t trust doctors in Nigeria, to literally not talking to each other anymore. Around when I was about three months pregnant, he did come to see my parents and actually became very cool with my dad. They were literally exchanging Whatsapp messages every day. He later agreed to a traditional wedding which he didn’t follow through and then he switched. He began to treat me with so much hate and aggression that I and my family had to cut him off completely. To be honest if anybody had told me when we met three years ago, considering how deeply we cared for each other that I would fall pregnant two years later and he would completely turn his back on me for most part of my pregnancy, I never would have believed it but that’s what happened. I had to draw strength from myself, my family and close friends. And Jayce...oh my son Jayce, he was my biggest strength. It was almost as if he knew his dad was acting up so he came through for his mum. He was gentle with me when I was carrying him. I had an extremely easy pregnancy. I pushed him out under 3 mins and was in the labour room for less than 30 minutes. And then my snapback was amazing. Three weeks later, it was almost as if I’d never been pregnant. Jayce was my soldier when his dad turned his back. But still, I have absolutely no iota of regret meeting Sholaye. Gosh, have you seen Jayce? How can I regret that? God doesn’t make mistakes. If you believe that you’re always led by God like I believe then I have to believe that God led me to this man for whatever reasons best known to Him. I thought God sent him as my life partner but I guess He just used him as a vessel for my greatest blessing. Now his part in my story is over. I know when to put my hands up and surrender. That God brought someone significant into your life doesn’t mean they are supposed to follow you throughout your life’s journey. We should learn to know when people’s part in our story is over. Don’t fight for closure, don’t ask for explanations, don’t chase answers, just let them go and know that if God meant for you to have them in your life, He would have given them to you. Sometimes people just come to serve a purpose in your life and are not meant to stay and there’s no point holding on to them. This one is done and dusted. It’s just Jayce and I now moving forward and I know life will be beautiful for us. Being a single mum wasn’t the dream I had for myself; I’d prayed for the kind of happy home my parents built for us (they’ve been together for 40 years). Nothing is more important to me than family. For years I’d hammered on how much I was looking forward to getting married, having children and building my own family and I believed God was going to come through for me on that one, but I have come to understand that we have no control over what life throws at us no matter how much we plan, pray, or work. And we also have no control over the actions of other people towards us. One of the things I have learnt in my life’s journey is that your idea of how life should go might be different from the way life actually goes. It’s called Life Happening. Sometimes it unfolds into something we never dreamed of but because we don’t recognize the route we find ourselves on our journey through life, doesn’t mean God won’t get us to our destination. Remember, an uncertain chapter doesn’t ruin the whole book. Life will happen whether we are ready or not. All we can do is keep our heads up and keep moving. Family and close friends told me I owed no one any explanation about the circumstances that led to the birth of my son, but I knew without writing this, I could never stand in front of the young girls who look up to me and talk to them again. I could never go on my secondary school tour and speak with these girls again about living right and doing right. I would always feel like I have no moral right to do so. I went to 15 secondary schools in 2017 and talking to those young impressionable girls has been one of the highlights of my life. I cancelled this year’s tour because I was pregnant and I haven’t made any preparations for next year’s tour because I wanted to set things right first. I have so many plans for young girls next year and in the coming years with the Selfmade finance and mentorship projects with international collaborations, so this was important for me to do, to explain myself to the young girls who look up to me and feel disappointed that I got pregnant and had a baby out of wedlock. For years, I have preached decency, morality and uprightness and despite what happened to me, I mean it from the bottom of my heart. That should be the only way to live. That’s the only way I live. Don’t ever compromise your values. With this, I was led by my heart and my clock ticking and even though I have no regrets, I’m sorry if I let any of you ladies down by the decision I made, and I hope you learn from my experience. I hope you do better than I did. The ideal thing would be to find a man you love, who loves you back and gives you stability, get married, have kids and raise a family, not being a single mum or a baby mama. I was 37 years old at the time I conceived and if I want to be honest, my age played a role in me allowing myself to be pregnant out of wedlock. I don’t want to be having kids in my 40s or struggling with fertility later in life. This wasn’t the plan but like I said before, life happens. You just have to find a way to make the best of what life throws at you. And so for any young girl this means anything to, I am truly sorry. I am not sorry I had Jayce, I’m just sorry I didn’t go about it the right way. But you know, despite this crazy love experience, I still believe in love and I believe in happy endings and I can’t wait to one day, God willing, have my fairy tale ending. The father of my child is the only man I’ve given a chance to in 6 years. Lol. I swear. I’m not really a relationship kind of girl. I’m more a career girl. I can go for years without a man. I’m one of those women who don’t need a man to validate their existence but biko, I’ve done the single life enough in the past…lol… going forward I’m looking forward to giving someone else a chance and try this love thing again. I was raised in a happy 2-parents’ home and that’s what I want for Jayce. So I hope I meet a great guy soon until then I’m enjoying motherhood. It rocks! Life has never been more beautiful! I’d also like to address a few other issues. Number one is this celibacy issue. So many people have trolled me over it and I’d like to correct the misunderstanding. I have never ever in my life said people shouldn’t have sex before marriage. NEVER EVER have I said that. I have even argued with quite a few people that it is not feasible in this day and age. What I have always said and I maintain till today is; Do not ever sleep with men for money because any woman with a brain and determination can get her own money herself. And there’s nothing sweeter than your own money. I am 38 years old and I recently bought a N100million+ car; what the heck do you need to be sleeping with a man for? For designer bags, first class tickets and luxury holidays? GTFOH with sleeping with a man for rent money! You can give yourself all that and more if you apply yourself, fight for your dream and work your butt off. Men don’t have the exclusive right to create wealth; women can also create wealth. Money is not male. Wealth is not male. Success is not male. We women just need to believe in ourselves more and get off our butts and stop relying on our looks and charm instead of our brain, mind, will, and our God given talent/gift. We can be rich, we can be successful, we can break barriers, do what was formerly termed impossible, do what men can do, be CEOs of conglomerates and billionaires without ever having to lie on our backs. Please ladies, we are powerful beyond measure and can do anything and be anything we want to be. The other thing I’ve always said is; do not sleep around with multiple men who just use your body for their pleasure; that is; too many one night stands, casual sex, many sex partners in a short period of time all in the name of relationships. Your body deserves better. I feel sex should only happen when you’re in a loving, committed relationship with someone you love. I was celibate for many years until I met my son’s father and fell in love. And instead of increasing my body count, I just went back to the same eggplant…lol. My mistake was I should have walked away when the relationship became a waste...lol... but then again, Jayce wouldn’t be here today if I had. So really, there’s nothing that I have preached that I didn’t practice. So you guys stop trolling me over this abeg! Lol. Thank you for reading and thank you for your understanding. Love and kisses to you and yours Hugs Linda http://trixxng.com/the-father-of-my-son-has-turned-his-back-on-me-linda-ikeji/

Prophet Joshua Iginla has warned the country to pray against military interruption and rape of our democracy as we prepare for the 2019 elections. Iginla in his prophetic warning spoke against military intervention. According to him, we should pray not to see military everywhere when we ought to see civillians. In his words he stated that the will of the people should reflect in the election result and that we should pray against manipulation of results. The clergy also said God showed him that the signs are not good and that if allowed to come to pass the church will suffer the effect more. Furthermore , he enjoined Nigerians to pray against the rape of our democratic process. Consequently, he raised a two day fast and prayers on thursday, December 12th and Friday, December 13th,2019 to avert the negative signs: We have to pray and fast on Thursday and Friday for Nigeria over our 2019 election. One of the things God is showing me is that the will of the people should reflect in the election result. We should pray against manipulation of 2019 elections. The result should not be delayed unnecessarily. The will of the people should be seen in the result." I am not advising but telling you what God showed me. So that people should not be aggrieved and take laws into their own hands. Secondly, we should pray against cancelling of votes in some areas.... the signs i see are not good and if they should come to pass the church will suffer. You might call me names but if the signs come to pass the church will be worse hit. That's why we should pray. Thirdly, we should pray that our democracy should not go under pressure. This beautiful democracy should not be raped. If the church refused to pray they will be under serious persecution. Else we would be forced to become prayer warriors over night. We should pray not to have military everywhere when we should have civilians.

Tiv Man kills Police Officer, buries him secretly over N120,000 business deal (VIDEO) A 30-year-old community leader has been arrested by the Ogun Police Command for allegedly killing a police corporal, Gbenga Adeboyejo, over a N120,000 business deal. Parading the suspect on Monday at the scene of the crime in Opeji, Odeda Local Government Area, the Ogun Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, said the deceased until his death was attached to the Odeda Police Division. Iliyasu said that the deceased was a business partner to the suspect who deals in charcoal. It was reported that the commissioner led men of the command to exhume the corpse from a shallow grave in a thick forest in Opeji village where it was allegedly buried by the suspect. Iliyasu disclosed that the crime was committed on Nov. 24. He said the deceased was reported missing on Dec. 1 by his father, Joseph Adeboyejo, who lives in Ilorin, Kwara, after he stopped receiving calls from him. “On Dec. 1, Joseph Adeboyejo reported to the police that his son visited him in Ilorin and explained a charcoal business he was doing with one leader of the Tiv community in Opeji village. “He stated further that while the corporal was with him, he received a call from the said Tiv man informing him that his charcoal was ready, consequent upon which he left Ilorin to meet the man. “He explained further that his son called him on the phone when he reached the man’s house but added that since then he had not seen him nor heard from him,’’ he said. The Odeda Divisional Police Officer, Baba Mohammed , he added, swung into action and arrested the suspect and two others who had earlier contacts with the deceased. “The case was transferred to the State Criminal and Investigation Department where the suspects were put under serious investigation and forensic analysis. “This man who was the prime suspect later confessed to killing the police corporal by hitting him on the head with a heavy plank of wood in order not to refund the sum of N120,000 paid to him for the charcoal. “He further confessed that he buried the deceased in a shallow grave in the forest,” the commissioner said. The commissioner said the suspect would be charged to court. The suspect, while speaking with journalists, said he regretted committing the act, adding that that the policeman attacked him first. “He complained that his goods were late and we started arguing. He struck me with wood and I also struck him with wood. “I didn’t intend to kill him. When I realised he was dead, I dug a grave to bury him,” he added.; http://trixxng.com/tiv-man-kills-police-officer-buries-him-secretly-over-n120000-business-deal-video/ VIDEO https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGKuxrNQ0sQ&t=19s
