egift: What we are seeing today is an accumulated results of Jonathan's failure to tackle Insecurity in Nigeria for the last 5 years he has been in power. Throwing money and bombs will not solve it.

Since Jonathan came to power, many Nigerians have been making very useful suggestions, but this administration just turned a deaf ear to it. Nigerians asked for intelligence gathering, infiltration of the Boko Haram Organization, equipping and training of our soldiers, sending in a small team of special forces, prosecution of boko haram sponsors, negotiating where necessary, etc. But the Zoologist only care about sharing money and returning to power.

After elections, most politicians are bosom buddies who even assist each other personally regardless of Party divide. They don't go around fighting each other to a standstill. They leave that to gullible people like you. This is why Boko Haram is killing ordinary Nigerians while GEJ continues to rub shoulders with the Boko Haramites he tells us have "infiltrated every level" of his government.


There is no doubt this is a political blow to APC. As far as Adamawa state is concerned APC is dead. Forget Atiku.
The only intrigue here is if GEJ denies him gov ticket which I will hate PDP n GEJ for that..

299: Nna, I don't believe that money is your life savings, cos if it was, you would do ANYTHING to retrieve it.

I had a similar experience a few years ago when I was still starting up. A guy was owing me 550k(almost everything I had then ) and I did everything I could to get the money, yet he wouldn't crack. Worst still, he was buying landed properties yet giving me silly excuses. Later, I got wind of his upcoming traditional weeding and then I went to Esut and imported some school boys . We landed at the venue, he saw us and immediately came forward to meet us cos he knew there was problem. We threatened to scatter the weeding if he didn't provide the money. He called his brothers and they begged and begged . For where? The 5 boys I had where mean and prepared for the worst.
How 250k appeared from no where, only God knows. Yet my boys still insisted we take one of their cars as collateral pending when he paid the balance. I refused and insisted on giving him time to pay the balance . That has been one of the worst decisions in my life. As of today, he's still yet to pay after 5 years. Infact the guy even threatened to 'deal' with me for embarrassing him at his weeding. His wife see me as a devil. All this ontop my money.

Good points u raised but the question is do u think the Nigerian Police, civil defence and other para military agencies aren't capable of curtailing such skimishes? Why unleash our last resort for such small small things? With time, the people will become immune to such and govt will find itself in a big mess with no other alternatives.
