Olowoeko11: Seriously Osun people will feel they lost the person who will change their state for good should Oyetola return as governor. Same with most Peter Obi supporters should Tinubu wins😟 Who are those people in Osun? Those who voted for Oyetola are not from Osun? You can't rig an election (through over-voting) and then say "the people of Osun". |

Infact na you go tire Declared winner without counting the votes or after the votes are counted? It will be easier for the elephant to pass through the eye of a needle than for Obi to win. He may not even win any state. |

We have been bombarded with news of defections from one party to another. Some of these were the defection of a commissioner from the PDP to the APC in the PDP-governed Sokoto state, the defection of an APC PCC member to the PDP, the defection of LP candidates in Jigawa to APC, the defection of PDP members in Zamfara to the APC, and so on.
So far, no notable politician has deemed it necessary to consider the LP. What does this tell the Obi's supporters? |

ScamHunter: Change of money to forestall Tinubu's plans to buy votes comes to mind. But the question is why Buhari doesn't want Tinubu near Aso Rock knowing that bullion vans is his only hope?
The answer is that Yoruba people never learn. The same thing that happened to Awolowo and Abiola: Fulani extirpation of Yoruba ambition is what we are witnessing. What's amusing is that Afenifere warned Tinubu. These Yoruba leaders are always the first to betray southerners to enthrone Fulani and it will always backfire.
Imagine that is is a man that fought tooth and nail against Jonathan. Even rolled out bullion vans for Buhari's elections. May you never enthrone your enemy out of foolishness.
Say backfire....and Tinubu in the mud...again.
If Tinubu has a little initiative left, this is the time to step down and endorse Peter Obi, the most competent contestant, but your guess is as good as mine. He'll wait to be finally humiliated.

Politics › New Naira Notes: Nigerian Banks As The Clogs In Our Wheels Of Development by OsunOriginal(op): 1:28pm On Jan 26, 2023 |
Why the CBN had to threaten the banks and send out its officials before the banks started doing the right still baffles me. What manner of human beings is managing and working in Nigerian banks? Is this not the same reason every monetary policy has been failing in Nigeria? If the banks, which should be the pillars of a sound and functioning economy, are the ones sabotaging every effort to make things work, how will the country move forward economically? Talk about currency round-tripping, it is the same criminals in suites working in banks. Interestingly, most of these educated criminals went to school abroad and they are here messing up their country. To load new naira notes in ATMs is a problem for Nigerian banks and the criminals managing them. These same criminals are the reason the exchange rate is what it is today. Again, CBN Threatens to Sanction Banks Dispensing Old Banknotes via ATMs https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2023/01/20/again-cbn-threatens-to-sanction-banks-dispensing-old-banknotes-via-atms/We need the likes of Buba Marwa to head the CBN or EFCC. Nigerian banking sector needs to be rid of the criminals that have taken over that space. |

When the driver refused they took his side mirror. I had to pay the man extra for the rubbish. A Yoruba Man o. This is Tinubu's legacy. An egregiously notorious legacy.... which is the blueprint of his so called Mega City.

Politics › What To Expect As Osun Tribunal Delivers Judgment On Friday Jan 27th by OsunOriginal(op): 12:57pm On Jan 24, 2023 |
This weekend will be an interesting one for my people in Osun state as the election tribunal delivers judgment on Friday, Jan 27th.
What can we expect?
1. Announcement of Oyetola as the authentic winner based on obvious evidence of over-voting as proved by Oyetola's lawyers 2. Confirmation of Adeleke as the winner of the election - areas affected by over-voting not substantial enough to affect the outcome of election 3. Annulment of elections in the affected local governments - elections to be re-conducted in those local governments within specified days
Most likely Oyetola will be pronounced as the authentic winner - this is based on facts presented to the tribunal, not wishful thinking |
