We're beginning to see the result of the election gradually. Tinubu will win the election convincingly... everybody knows and the reason for the interest in him.

OBJ keeps insulting our sensibility, writing a letter each time he wants to talk to the people as if he is in a different world. His letters look more like an emperor sending out directives to which he expects full compliance from his subjects.

I wonder how OBJ thinks and what he expects Nigerians to do with those letters. Go to the streets and start dancing that the oracle has spoken? I wonder what he hopes to achieve with the latest letter.

If OBJ is serious about his support for Obi, he needs to do more than letter writing. He should join the campaign train like Pa Adebanjo did, leaving his house in Lagos to attend a show of shame in Ibadan called Obi's presidential campaign.

Until OBJ does this, he won't be taken seriously by anybody.

Tinubu's surpporters are of the opinion that only Tinubu is at liberty to go to Mecca monthly and attend as many mosques as he wants but at same time criticize Obi for worshiping in churches.

- What is the rationale behind this your reasoning?
- Why is Tinubu's circle so Islamic to the extent that he has nobody to represent him in churches?
- Is it Obi's fault that Tinubu is running on Muslim-Muslim ticket?

My advice to Obi is to double his effort in doing whatever he is doing that is inflicting pain on his enemies. Obi needs to visit more churches. That's the cheapest campaign for him, an opportunity that eludes Muslim-Muslim ticket.

Yes... because Tinubu is not going to mosques to canvass for votes. Obi sees religion as a tool for electioneering which is why we condemn him each time he jumps from one church to another in search of votes

He didn't go to solicit his support because his support is needed for him to be president. Tinubu was in his to formally inform him (as a former president and an elder) about his intention to contest for president. Who is OBJ when it comes to electioneering in Nigeria today?

Presidential Candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has reacted to the endorsement of his Labour Party LP counterpart, Mr Peter Obi by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, describing it as “worthless”.

Tinubu in a preliminary response to the development however conceded that it was within the democratic rights of the former president to endorse anyone.

The APC standard bearer recalled how the former president’s adopted candidates had lost elections in the past, declaring that not even in Obasanjo’s home state, Ogun, can anyone rely on his endorsement to be governor or councillor.

11 Governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) are currently working underground for Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation revealed on Sunday.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with DAILY INDEPENDENT, Daniel Bwala, a spokesperson of the Atiku Campaign Organisation also disclosed that as at first week of December 2022, 37 senators and 15 House of Representatives elected under the platform of APC are working for Atiku’s victory in the 2023 presidential election.

“As early as first week of December, we already have 11 APC governors that are supporting our cause and it is still counting. We have 37 APC senators and 15 House of Reps members. That was first week of December. You can imagine by now how much more we would have gained” Bwala dicslosed.

The PDP chieftain was responding to an interview granted by Prince Kassim Afegbua, a former Commissioner for Information in Edo state and staunch loyalist of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who said he had it on good authority that Atiku met with three APC governors in Dubai.

“I am aware and have it on good authority that the Atiku group held a meeting with three APC Governors in Dubai, but it won’t yield any positive result” Afegbua said.

I have told those whose have ears. If a meeting truly happened between Wike's G5 team and Tinubu in London, then the deal is done. They're only keeping it under wrap to finalize their strategies and get everybody, on both sides, on board.

One thing is sure and that is that Wike and his band of traitors will never accept Atiku emerging as winner of the coming elections.

As far as their treachery goes, it won't be of any impact on Atiku .

In Oyo, the APC is expected to win while in Benue ,other more substantive and well established politicians are rooting for Atiku while the neophyte Orton continues his follow-follow agenda to oblivion. In Enugu and Abia, Obi will win with or without the two irrelevant governors . In Rivers, the established PDP structure can not be cowed by one drunk in govt house. Wike thinking he can sway the elections in Rivers to Tinubu with Atiku on ground and the nuisance of the DisObidient is a pipe dream.

The G5 know they have nothing as permutations stand to singlehandedly call the elections in their respective states and they know Atiku's camp knows this.

This is where it gets interesting because for the likes of Wike to remain relevant after an Atiku win , they will have to transform themselves from failed king makers to usurpers by challenging the outcome of the elections.

The next future stage of Wike's fading relevance is to head to court and squander Rivers state resources challenging the emergence of Atiku either by filing a suit or joining the likes of Obi and Tinubu's legal suit.

But this will be an upheaval task that may only result to another run off at best as no court has set aside a presidential election since June 12 , 1994 and no jurist will want to go down that road either.

So at the end, Wike and his band of G5 conspirators will be at the losing end with Wike, Ortom, Ikpeazu and Ugwuani fading into oblivion. Makinde will have his fate decided in the next elections with a more powerful Oyo PDP challenging him in his future but now dead APC party which he will defect to anytime soon.

Next is to return Tinubu as the president

All is set for Wike-led G-5 govs to roll out support for Tinubu. Wike, while confirming the deal, said he would sit down with Rotimi Amaechi and Omo Agege to fine-tune the strategies for Tinubu's victory. He dismissed the rumor that the G-5 governors endorsed Obi, saying that "we are talking about the presidency of Nigeria, not traders' union nor Anambra governorship"

I was shocked when I heard the news of the appointment of Osuntokunbo as the campaign DG of Obi following the conviction of Doyin Okupe (his former campaign DG) for money laundering. I was shocked because I never knew a party fielding a presidential candidate wouldn't be able to find a replacement immediately from its members. I never knew the LP is this empty that someone, from an unknown party, would have to be brought in as a campaign DG. What do we call this? Loaning as in the case of the football league?

Tinubu doesn't need any of them to win this election as long as they don't support Atiku. They need Tinubu more now than Tinubu needs them.

The news of Wike-led G-5 govs' offer of partnership with Tinubu's team shouldn't come as a surprise to any experienced political watcher. I knew long before now that Wike has only one option and that option is to support Tinubu. Wike has gone too far into his battle with Atiku that gambling may be disastrous for his future. And gambling in this case is supporting an Obi who is struggling to get the support of his own people (the leaders in SE), let alone getting the support of the people that matter in this election (the core north).

G-5 govs' decision, therefore, is not a surprise to me, and I don't expect anybody to be surprised either. Wike is a politician and the only thing that can help his political career at the moment is to support Tinubu and ensure he defeats Atiku. He will be a fool to do otherwise.
