Obi can't win any state in SE... write it down. Elections are not about making noise on the streets of Umuahia. None of the governors (PDP/APGA) is campaigning for him. No senator or house of rep member in APGA, PDP or APC is campaigning for him. These guys have a career to protect and will make sure their parties win. Politics, they say, is local.

Tinubu's health, Tinubu's health, blah blah blah... wicked souls, who go to church and mosque everyday/week, are wishing a fellow human being ill health. With all the noise, one would have thought Tinubu couldn't last a week after the party's primaries. Here we are, the man is holding marathon meetings, engaging all stakeholders, building bridges, attending parties, etc. Yet, those who see opportunities in the ill-health, if any, of another candidate, remain stuck to their evil message. A man that attends parties, prayers in mosques, meetings, etc can't attend a rally?

He had the ears and got the Nod from the who is who across the entire APC dominated northern Nigeria.

Buhari had hoped his preferred candidate emerged .. and if he didn't , then OSIBANJO would be the 1st runner-up to clinch it if Amaechi failed ..

Whilst all this was ongoing , frantic efforts were in full gear to disqualify the most hated candidate and understandably too - in the person of BAT.

Tinubu knew he was an outcast to the power brokers of his party , he knew if he relied on the good will of his party ( the APC Chairman was already on the verge of disqualifying him for openly insulting the president) and his connection with the president, he may not even be up for selection as a candidate at the APC primary ..

So what to do ?

He had to rely solely on his financial chest ..
Everyone can be bought (except me of course),including the APC governors who are shot callers in their respective states and could decide the direction of where their delegates votes should go..


Top secret meeting were held- first with the southwest APC governors ,majority of whom got into power via Tinubu's financial assistance .
These meeting were later extended to the northern governors and also extended to other presidential candidates vying for the ticket ..

Elrufai was promised the VP slot ( he was deceived anyway )..
This made him throw his body blood and soul into the BAT project .. he feverishly mobilized support for the tinubu candidacy across the lenght and breath of the north .
Underestimate elrufai at your own risk . His small stature may give him away as a non-entity, but that's not true ..
Elrufai ,being deceived by tinubu , galvanized the needed northern support for tinubu ,even when they knew it went against the president's wish...

How the money went .......

Tinubu worth runs into multiple billions ..

So the delegates got some handsome millions as tips for breakfast and dinner ..

Word was sent out to other candidates and they were offered irresistible financial compensation running into several hundreds of millions each to step down for BAT ..

Starting with Godswill Akpabio , the stepping aside begun..
The money galore was so intense to the extent that APC candidates who had initially reeled out their manifestos and why they should be voted for , all rushed back , swallowed all they initially said and stepped aside for TINUBU..

The only female aspirant ,who held the hope of the Nigerian women ,didn't dissapoint in this ESAURIC Endeavour .

Buhari was stunned and so was his wife and the party chairman and the cabal...
This was a civilian coup they yelled ..

The president ,who initially failed to come out clean on which candidate he supported was UTTERLY PLAYED and ronaldoed right there in his 18yrd box.

It was serious ..

This is only a figment of your naive imagination. Akpabio paid N100m to purchase the nomination form... how much do you think an Akpabio could have been offered that would make him step down for BAT? N500m, N1B, etc...? At some points in life, it is no longer about money but self-satisfaction. Those who stepped down saw the handwriting on the wall and then decided to step down so they weren't found on the wrong side like PYO (a treacherous power-drunk who forgot where he came from), Amaechi, etc.

The issue is, Tinubu is a strategist and has been nursing his presidential ambition even before the likes of Amaechi came into politics. Tinubu won that primary long before 2015 when he forged the merger between the ACN and CPC which eventually made possible the presidency of Buhari. Unfortunately, Buhari is not the one ruling. The cabal around him has castrated him and completely taken the control of the government from him. For the cabal, a Tinubu would take the control (which they are so much enjoying) away from them, and therefore, he can't be the next president. The cabal, knowing fully well they couldn't win the primaries, decided to push for a consensus candidate with Lawal as the preferred person. A Lawal in the presidency would ensure the cabal remains relevant even after Buhari. The moment the consensus proposition failed, it was over for them. The governors, lawmakers, etc saw all these and they knew what was up. Luckily, the cabal wasn't in control of the delegates and was also hated by the governors. That was what worked in favor of Tinubu. I agree some of the northern governors (El-Rufai, etc) might be hoping to be the running mate to Tinubu and that could have further fueled their support but won't they have been better positioned if a Christian from the south was elected? It was not only the ambition of the northern governors that propelled their support for Tinubu. They also knew within themselves that the only man that could face the PDP today is Tinubu. What would Amaechi have campaigned with? What would PYO have campaigned with? What political base do they have even in their regions? Amaechi got less than 100k votes for the APC in rivers state in 2019 while Wike secured over 1m votes for the PDP and I know PYO has never won his polling units in both Lagos and Ogun state. Who doesn't know this? So, why would the northern governors support a featherweight politician for presidency?

And choosing the running from NE is strategic too. Atiku needs to be fought and if possible defeated at home. Without picking a strong person from NE, winning NE will be a walk in the park for Atiku. Now, it is obvious the NE votes will be shared between the APC and PDP. APC may even win if the political gladiators in Adamawa decide to give peace a chance.

Choosing an El-Rufai would have made the muslim-muslim matter worse for the ticket. An average Christian sees El-Rufai as a fanatic. A muslim governor who decided to sidetrack the Christians and picked a muslim as his deputy. So, while El-Rufai is an equally influential governor in the north, picking him would have created more problems for the APC. His support for the disposed Emir of Kano (Sanusi) is another factor that might pitch a ticket that has El-Rufai's name on it against the sitting Emir of Kano and the Kano state government. El-Rufai is a great guy but very controversial and a candidate that wants to win would avoid all those controversies by all means. Luckily for Tinubu, NW is the home region of Buhari and as it stands, he is still very popular there and he doesnt have a choice but to support Tinubu. He may not enjoy his retirement if another party wins. So, Tinubu's victory is a victory for him too.

As a diehard obidient and supporter of Peter Youth Obi's Presidential Ambition, e don dey clear for my eyes.

My experience this week has cleared my doubts of Atiku winning the election. I travelled to my village here in South East and believe me if i say Atiku will win Obi in the South East if we Obidients don't engage in grassroots campaign. By grassroots; i mean, villages and some rural places.

We Obidients are endangering our psychological and mental wellbeing, if we keep living in this our delusion of Obi winning without working our asses off to make it happen. If Obi must win come 2023, am saying this for the umpteenth time, we must do the following:

1. Campaign in our various market places

2. Campaign close to church places on Saturdays and Sundays as we can't campaign in the church due to the ban placed on it.

3. As Obidient students are going back to school; They should campaign in the villages close to their schools as the elderly and old voters vote determine who wins and they can't be ignored.

4. Sensitize the muslims at their gatherings with evidences showing Obi has not spent their money to campaign. Also highlighting the possibility of Nigerians going their separate ways if another disaster of a politician is elected as a president. Also make it known to them that tribalism and religious fanatism won't change the price of petrol, rice, semo, yam, transport as it will be parallel not withstanding the fact that my tribe's man is in power. Let dem know dat last last e go reach everybody if we keep enriching the yeye politicians by electing them in 2023.

5. Make sure we get our PVCs

If the above mentioned steps are not taken, then, the reality we should buckle up and face is Obi's defeat, disappointment, Heartbreak.

Also, Obidients lets wash our faces and face the reality, which is Obi can't win...... Unless we win. Because: Delusion lets the deluded to simp in foolishness, while thinking, he is upright.

So, Lets take charge and make Obi president.

Do you think Yoruba people are fools and will vote along party lines when it comes to the presidency? Tinubu will get between 70%-75% in both Oyo and Osun. Who is campaigning for Atiku in those states as we speak? Even the PDP governors (Makinde and the incoming PDP gov in Osun) can't openly campaign for Atiku. They know the mood of the people.

APC campaign council has many groups and layers. Can you also tell us the composition of the other groups? You can't use one team as the basis for saying the APC campaign team is tilted to the west.

And APC didn't appoint Adelekan Olawale as the campaign coordinator for Sokoto neither did the APC appoint AbdulGaniyu Chuks as the campaign coordinator for Anambra.
