ZombieSlayer1: Osibanjo would've given Peter Obi good competition even in the East. The reason most easterners are against Tinubu is because they know he's Buhari Pro Max
The only person that can give Obi competition in the East is Tinubu.... Just wait and see.
Elliotwaveforec: The two words can be used interchangeably; therefore, he's right. It doesn't make sense to use corn or maize twice in a short sentence like this.
Don't mind the illiterates... Below is the definition of maize as provided by Wikipedia.
Maize (/meɪz/ MAYZ; Zea mays subsp. mays, from Spanish: maíz after Taino: mahiz), also known as corn (North American and Australian English), is a cereal grain first domesticated by indigenous peoples in southern Mexico about 10,000 years ago.[1][2]
Obidients, did you hear that? When Obi waywardly says he would solve all your problems within weeks, use your brain. He was Anambra governor for 8 years, we can't trace anything remarkable to him.
Gov Wike recently made an allegation that Ayu (the PDP chairman) collected 1B naira from someone. Even though the name of the giver wasn't mentioned, information reaching us says the giver of the money (or bribe whatever you want to call it) was Peter Obi, the saintly presidential candidate of the labor party.
While we await more information, it's pertinent to begin to interrogate the motive behind a gift of 1B naira a few weeks before the party's primaries. Was this to purchase the ticket or what? Peter Obi left the party shortly when it was clear he wouldn't get the party's ticket and Atiku wouldn't even consider him for a VP slot.
Kagd10: Corn and maize are the same however corn is the whole maize with the tuft and everything whereas maize is the seeds/fruit after shedding the turft. Tinubu is right.
Most of the guys following Obi are stack illiterates who are only able to speak and write by virtue of living/trading in a city.
successmatters: If they are the only competent contenders, you won't open this thread. You will be home sleeping.
But because you know that this man is coming into Aso Rock, your corrupt sleep is gone
What credentials does he have? What are his antecedents? My research didn't show anything remarkable about him as governor of Anambra. He was just like any other traditional Nigerian governor without any brilliant, not-seen-before ideas or policies.
Gingerbreadman2: Those that brought you misery, na them you Wan buy hope from... smh
He has done it before, he will do it again. He didn't only give Lagos hope, he actualized the hope. You wonder why everybody in SE wants to migrate to Lagos?
Obi ruled Anambra and even Obi himself can't live there... He has also migrated to Lagos.
pinacole1: Bros i have explain it for them. De re d real dullar. Just check ur dictionary for meaning of rotten situation, it simply means decaying situation, a situation that is almost beyound redemption, very bad situation, for one to turn such to a bad one means the situation has improve. Let the think...
Don't mind them... they won't agree. They're like a drowning man looking for a straw to hold on to. Anything they can get to make Tinubu look bad, they will jump at it. Igbos are evil my brother.
B4bb: This man says rubbish I wonder how people listen to him and are convinced that he can rule us. Sha sha what’s my own I be obidient pikin with my full chest. For your crayfish, assorted fishes, prawns , snails pls contact me on 08061696811
I listened to the full speech... very presidential. He gave hope when SLS painted a gloomy and very scary picture of things.
Lanshile: The man used a figure of speech there Rotten means something that doesn't have any value again and buy turning a rotten item into bad one simply means he can perform and deliver in any situation regardless of how bad it is
Traders won't understand what a figure of speech is... So, don't be surprised at their responses
What was the population of Anambra when Obi assumed office and what was the population when he left? Of the population growth, how many are immigrants from other states or igbos relocating from Lagos to Anambra?
We will start stopping Igbos from flocking into Lagos since Anambra is now transformed
Adblg0610: Exactly my point. I think the problem with this group of people is English comprehension. It’s a gradual process. Tinubu has said that things would be tough because, if elected, he was going to take tough decisions that would eventually put Nigeria on the path of economic prosperity. What this implies is that there will be a gradual change from the rotten to bad, then from bad to good, better and best, just like the trajectory in Lagos.
The dumbos didn't even think he could have said turning a bad situation into a good one. He went for "rotten" to show how terrible things were before El-Rufai.
Bobbykuzzy: Kayode of Ekiti you say Lmaoooooooooo Check the current state of Ekiti roads before saying this. That man is the worst gov Ekiti has ever had. You think someone who cant manage a small state like Ekiti is going to manage Nigeria?? Jokes on you sir
An average igbo don't know how performance in government is measured. They will even tell you Obi is the best governor since the start of governance in Nigeria. They are that daft... If you ask them why, they will say he saved money and also invested money
Isn't that laughable? Saving money in a state that lacks basic infrastructure? As we speak, almost half of Anambra is underwater and Obi was busy saving money for them in his Fidelity bank
Bobloco: Tinubu, a Muslim himself went for a Northern Muslim VP in a secular state like Nigeria and he expects to win. So in his wrapped imagination, the North is where the votes are when the same North has an Atiku and Kwankwaso on the ballot and he is expecting the Muslims to vote for him.
Tinubu neglecting the majority Christian votes in North Central as well as southern Nigeria will be his greatest undoing.
Tinubu is no strategist
Infact, Tinubu has already lost the election even before it began
Jagabanofafrica: We voted for him 20 years as governor and Lagos is great for it today. You voted for Obi in Anambra about a decade ago and Anambra is still wallowing in poverty. None of you can live there. So, who is foolish?
Urheadmaster: Anyone that vote for Tinubu also contribute to the problems Nigeria are facing and will leave to regret voting for Tinubu
We voted for him 20 years as governor and Lagos is great for it today. You voted for Obi in Anambra about a decade ago and Anambra is still wallowing in poverty. None of you can live there. So, who is foolish?
