0coded80: mumu, the oba is not a absolute monarchy, he is a constitutional monarchy, he can be made to face the law if he try any non-sense
In this case, we have given him absolute power to decree whatever he likes. Lagos is his land - he rules over Lagos and whoever lives in Lagos must subject himself to his commands, otherwise, you will be banished from this land.
Igbos have been warned... If they insist on voting against Yoruba candidate (Ambode), they should be ready to face the consequence or move back to their villages. It is that simple.
Gbawe: As requested by Passingshot, this is my effort to create a Nairaland focal point to celebrate the win of GMB. We all fought hard, stood our ground, took the insults because our resolve to see good governance was unshakeable. I believe Buhari and Osinbajo will not disappoint Nigeria. APC supporters, help me drop your own congratulatory message.
Big congratulation to team GMB/Osinbajo on Nairaland. We did it !!!!!!!
The Yoruba race once again has come to the rescue of the country.
If not for the merger, king Nebu and his teaming supporters of ignorant SEasterners would have overtaken the social media by now - even when the only thing they know to do with power is looting, impunity and immorality.
I thank you all my Yoruba brothers for joining hands together to put those ignorant igbos where they belong.
ugojamali: While the so called 'illiterate and backward' northerners defied all odds include threat of boko haram to go out enmasse and vote... The so called 'learned and more advanced' southerners quietly sat in their homes and voted on social media. My BBM and WhatsApp and facebook were awash with 'Vote GEJ', GEJWinsIt and do many campaigns. But when I asked lots of contacts none actually voted. They all had excuses why they couldn't vote yet they believed that GEJ will miraculously upturn the expected northern votes Buhari was sure to gather.
Here's a lesson southerners need to learn. Elections are not conducted on social media. Not on Facebook. Not on nairaland. You actually need to drag your ass over to a polling booth and vote like all the rest.
Southerners treat elections with so much disdain and disinterest. And that's a disaster cos in there end they are the ones who cry hardest about injustice. Yet they just won't take their destiny in their hands.
Nobody is bigger then voting. If presidents and governors go out to vote then who are you to sit at home and not go?
Let no southerner come here and complain of injustice when the final result is announced. However wins is the choice of the people. You could have made a difference by coming out and casting your vote. Instead you chose to leave your future in the hands of people you consider illiterate and backward.
Meanwhile I have authoritative confirmation from INEC that social media voting will be included in the 2019 election. Until then, it seems congratulations to Pa Buhari are in order.
Who told you they would have voted for Jona if they came out to vote?
Jona lost in my SW states except in Ekiti - laughinggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
The stakes are high! This election is not about what language you speak, what village you come from, what religion you practice or where you live. It is about the soul of Nigeria, it is about the collective future of all of us and our unborn children and grand children. It is about making Nigeria great again.
Tomorrow is very crucial in the history of Nigeria. Many have predicted a total disintegration of the country, many have predicted a civil war. We don't envisage any of that, even though these threats to our dear nation is real and frightful, we remain to stand on the side of hope. We also believe that hope is the side you will stand on.
After so much incitement to violence, hate campaigns, election postponement and billions spent/wasted, we have finally come to the crux of destiny. We are presented with two men. One under whose watch many of our brother and sisters have been mercilessly slaughtered. A man whose response to one of the mass slaughters of our young boys was to dance with a strange woman who backed "it" up on him. A man whose response to the killing of at least 2000 people in Bama was to send a condolence message to the President of France. This option that is presented to us have presided what over what was described recently by the New York Times as theft in "industrial scale".
Fellow Nigerians, we for once in our history have a different viable away-from-the-pack option, who stands in a mega opposition, a man who will take Nigeria to the very next step we all long and desire for. As we go out tomorrow, let us remember that our vote is a vote for the very life of Nigeria.
It with these premises that I, CramJones, wholeheartedly, unreservedly and fully endorse Lt. General Muhammadu Buhari. I stand for CHANGE, I stand for integrity, I stand for a secure, peaceful and prosperous Nigeria!
"For the only thing constant in the world is CHANGE" We can do it. We will do it. CHANGE we will get!
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria

So FFK is deceiving Jonathan... To avoid jail sentence over money laundering case, FFK is the PDP spokesperson in the day. In the night and behind the opaque screen of social networking media like nairaland, FFK becomes CramsJones, a supporter of Buhari and an agent of "change" in general.

Is it GEJ/PDP that core north are supporting? I really really pity you - the GEJ that can' campaign in the north?
Even at the few PDP campaigns in the north, it has been Sai Buhari... I can show you some of the videos if you want.
masseratti: are you in Lagos?do you really think Lagosians are going to leave a former commissioner that fought OBJ for their money for GEJ?you must be dreaming,go to newspaper stands, beerparlours, even barber shops and feel the pulse of the people,if PdP is so sure of SW,GEJ wont be holing up in the region he fogot for five years than other region, ask yourselve when last he was in SE?
We are on the same side man... I just modified my post to make the message clearer.
Even the kids are also shouting change and sai Buhari. My 7 years old daughter was praying for Buhari to win the election this morning - I was surprised to hear this from her.
The jonathians are pathetic... To them, until everybody in Lagos is on the street, APC/Buhari is not popular in Lagos.
The crowd in the video are only a small (about 0.00001%) portion of those that will vote for APC come March 28.
For example, my family and I will vote for APC but I couldn't join the march today. Like many other Lagosians, you want to rest on Saturday after a long week of work.
The bling bling pastor and those using him to kill innocent people (xtians and muslims) should be handed over to the Hague now now. Now I know why Jonathan gave this criminal a private jet. Reward and instrument of terrorism...
Yib0s will not stop to make us laugh... Deputy governor of Lagos state.
I promise you ordinary commissioner, you will not get in the next administration - I can assure you of that.
The people of Yoruba land have been too magnanimous to a point of carelessness. How on earth should someone make yib0 a commissioner in Lagos state. Try this in the next government and you will see fire from Yoruba people. Who born monkey that yib0s will be given political appointment in Yoruba land.
donphilopus: These PDP guys are myopic, no doubt. They want what befell Ribadu to befall Buhari. Their plan won't work. Like someone has earlier said, do they think they're talking to FFK?! Buhari is an elder statesman who's highly respected both at home and in diaspora. So, I'd advise them to keep their mouth shut!
Lest I forget, GMB would be sworn-in as the President of Nigeria and Commander-In-Chief of the armed forces come May 29th 2015!
The good side of it is that, they are helping to campaign for him - at least, it confirms that some of us who have decided to remain with Buhari have a genuine and patriotic reason for supporting him. Now we know the enemies of Nigeria.
