Saraki was asked today about having any involvement....his response was smarter than that of Buhari had ever done in his entire existence
Something like
Everyone knows how the DSS and the Police has been after us for a while, what power do I have to order an executive controlled institution?
Everyone had known how this people torment the leadership of NASS
Saraki would not have been stupid to make use of DG Dss, cos it's sure if it falters it will be a major plus for APC Now we can see why Nigeria may never move forward with gullible people like you. Saraki is Devil's incarnate, ask his family and dead father. People just don't think. |

White007: Please APC, stop lying to Nigerians. Buhari planned everything before he left the country but didn't inform or involve Osinbanjo in the plans so that when things go sour people will blame the Acting President for doing nothing. Buhari and Oshomole probably underestimated the ferocity of the V.P when angry. Buhari thinks he can keep playing on the intelligence of his vice but he should know equally that the V.P is a professor of law, more educated than him and even wiser than him. If something bad had happened yesterday or the nation thrown into chaos, Nigerians and the world at large would have blamed the V.P because he had all the power within him to do something but didn't. Buhari being a craft man quickly ran to London after all his meetings with every APC senator and military/security chiefs so that he can find a way to exonerate himself when things backfires. The Acting president knew that he had to do something strong to send a strong message to Buhari and his cohort for undermining his intelligence. People like you can never be smart and foolishness is always your best virtue. Thank GOD for sensible Nigerians. |

NIGERIANS ARE NOT MUMU
When the senate was locked down because of a single person, democracy wasn't in danger ooo
democracy wasn't in danger when less than two-third member elect the senate president
democracy wasn't in danger when the Senate standing order was forged democracy wasn't in danger when budget was padded
democracy wasn't in danger when it takes them over 7months to pass the budget
democracy wasn't in danger when a single person singlehandedly adjourned plenary for two months when there are lot of national issues that required urgent attention
democracy was not in danger when senators begins sitting by 12pm and close by 1:30 and yet receives their full allowances.
but now that they have hidden agenda, they resume the national assembly by 5am. Did I hear you say its because of the masses?
Let me ask you,did you see any APC lawmakers there?
No,they are PDP senators trying to blackmail the federal government thinking they can gain public sympathy.
No,we are wiser, our mumu don do.
if they like, let them continue their drama, No amount of blackmail can change the mind of the masses against Buhari.
we know who is who. Buhari till 2023 Insha Allah

Crime › Re: Eight Nigerian Men Arrested In Thailand For Online Romance Scam by otherway: 1:15pm On Aug 07, 2018 |
damiloladuke: Eight Nigerian men arrested in Thailand alongside six others for engaging in online romance scam, are currently being paraded by the Police in the Asian country.
The men reportedly engaged in swindling nearly Bt2 million from Thai women in Ratchaburi, Samut Sakhon, Phitsanulok, Chon Buri and Bangkok’s Dusit district.
Deputy Tourist Police chief Maj-General Surachate Hakpan told a press conference on Monday, August 6, that the investigation began after complaints from victims – each of whom wired between Bt300,000 and Bt500,000 to the gang.
He said that the Thai suspects – including at least four Thai women - aided the gang by opening bank accounts and withdrawing cash for the foreign suspects.
Despite the Thai suspects’ claim of innocence, he said they would face a charge of public fraud and abetting trans-national crimes, which is punishable with up to 10 years imprisonment.
In another news, just yesterday, another Nigerian man identified as Chinedu Victor Okeke was arrested in Thailand for drug possession. His arrest came after a tip off to the Police, but not until when he led them in a wild chase.
But the police and soldiers in hot pursuit caught him and brought him back to his house.
A search found that the suspect had hidden 4 bags of powder cocaine, weighing 2.5 grams, behind an electrical switch. Within a box containing imported alcohol was hidden 12 bags holding 11.3 grams of cocaine cubes and 27 tubes of the same drug weighing 271.6 grams.

Crime › Re: Woman Falls Into A Well And Dies While Running From A Scorpion In Lagos by otherway: 12:26pm On Aug 07, 2018 |
weIMPORT: A woman has fallen to her death while trying to escape from a scorpion in Alaja community, Megida, in the Ayobo area of Lagos State.
The 40-year-old petty trader, Ablavi Hunkpati, fell into an abandoned well and died, PUNCH Metro reports.
Our correspondent learnt that after failed attempts by residents, relatives and sympathisers to rescue her, officials of the Lagos State Fire Service were called to the scene.
Her remains were subsequently recovered and handed over to the police by officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency.
The Togolese woman, her husband and their four children were said to have lived in the house for over 20 years.
A resident, who did not identify himself, said the incident happened on Saturday around 2pm.
He said:
“The woman has been living in the house for over than 20 years. As of the time she packed in, that well had been abandoned. Usually, people sit and relax on the planks used to cover the well. She was trying to run from a scorpion. She rested on the planks, which gave way. That was how she fell into the well and died.”
The abandoned well was at the entrance into the victim’s room and parlour apartment.
The house had also been cordoned off by security operatives.
A relative of Hunkpati, who identified himself only as David, showed our correspondent a bottle of soft drink he bought for her before the incident.
He said:
“She kept the drink on a drum and wanted to rid the planks on the well of insects because children usually play around there. She had finished cleaning the place when she fell.”
David explained that the victim had sighted a scorpion, and panicked when she fell into the well.
“She screamed and we rushed to see how to help her, but it was too late. She had died before anyone could do anything because the well is over 100 feet deep. We called the fire service, but when they came, it was too late,” he added.
It was learnt that the victim’s husband and children had gone to Togo to break the news to other family members.
The Public Affairs Officer of the Lagos State Fire Service, Mrs Bola Ajao, who spoke for the acting Director, Rasak Musibau, said firefighters arrived as soon they received a distress call about the incident.
She said:
“We received the distress call around 2.59pm and the Abesan Fire Station, being the closest to the area, responded. The officials arrived at the scene around 3.06pm. By the time they got there, it was discovered that some of the victim’s relatives had lowered themselves into the well with ropes. They, however, could not bring her out. The fire service men recovered the woman’s corpse.
“We have been telling residents that no matter how little an emergency may appear, they should always get in touch with emergency workers. The person who tried to bring the deceased’s woman out was not trained in safety techniques and it is possible that it was in the process of dragging her with ropes that the situation aggravated.”
