joseph1832: Then, its my duty to tell you that since you've never voted in any election in Nigeria, I see no reason whatsoever why you should be throwing jabs and criticizing governments, telling them to perform etc because, you as a Nigerian didn't perform your civic duty, so why should you be pointing fingers at another for not performing his or her duty?
You sat idle and refused to vote, while people spent hours in queue believing they're fighting for a course and you come here and say your opinion is relevant? Puhleaase!. I'll urge you continue to sit idle and watch and stop demanding and criticizing, because the very fault of our country being what it is is because of people like you. i admire your loyalty to your country and their politician, as much as i would like to vote in nigeria although it would make no different in the system because nigerian politicians and politicians in general always does what enriches them and their wealthy friends. I was born and i live in England ( its not relevant) and as i asserted ealier my families are nigerians and i am a nigerian by origin. So i remind you again, my opinion does matter, perharps i would like to vote in nigeriam elections in the future if convinced positively that my votes will make a different, which i doubt it will. |

joseph1832: Yes, be that as it may, I'll always say, we criticize which ever government is in power, even if its the one we like or the one we don't like. I believe all those who kept mute and supported Jonathan when he was in power, don't have any right whatsoever to come here and stand demanding for this and that, its that simple, if they can keep mute and support impunity, why can't they keep mute now? It is because the person they so righteously supported was ousted out of office?
Bro, lemme ask you this questions: did you vote in the last election or have you ever voted during any election in this country? No! i have never voted and did not vote in the last election in nigeria , hence why i am not partisan on either side PDP or APC, but being born by nigerian parents i believe my opinion is considered relevant. |

musicwriter: There's no doubt western economies survive by exploiting poor countries. There's overwhelming evidence for that over the years. African nations doing business with western nations is like a market woman in a kiosk wanting to do business with Dangote. Well, if Dangote want he will turn such woman to a slave in her own shop. Dangote for example; can decide to buy the shop and put the woman out of business, change the name of the company, change the type of goods the woman sell, change the location of the kiosk, marry the woman, even close the kiosk. Unfortunately, that's what happens each time we engage in so called business partnership with western nations. We're at their mercy, and have been since 1400 century.
If Africans and their leaders couldn't learn from slavery and colonialism, Africans will NEVER learn. Absolutely! Very nicely put! You couldn't have put it any better. |

joseph1832: Good, now wait after four years, I'll tell you, for now, its too early, because I don't recall myself or anyone for that matter, asking Jonathan about his achievements, just after 9 months in office.
Are we clear? in four years? Then it might be too late, which wiil then bring us back to square one. There a saying in my language that say "by the smell of the shi't one would know what's in the stomach" to answer your too early assertion, if you ask me? I would say we began to demand for quality from the begining which is now, why wait for 4 or after 4 years? NoreenUG: I will bookmark this thread and come back 3 years from now to see if anything will come out from these phantom nameless "investors" you're blindly massturbating to. Just keep deluding yourselves.
No worry oh, you gullible clowns will tell me anywhere in the world where a president sends people from his country to go invest in another country, and you'll tell me if this isn't propaganda. Are you talking about the same America wey I dey where its citizens are crying about job losses and the need to persuade their conglomerates like Apple from siting their businesses in China and bringing them back home? Na that same country wey their president go send their businessmen to go invest in another country?
LMAO!!! Truly, you zombies are the most gullible creatures I've ever encountered.
Well, let's watch and see this empty propaganda pan out like the "Osun Is Nigeria's 7th Largest Economy" tripe you jokers were pushing in 2014. Absolutely! Only a great and educated minds like yours would make this observation. Nigerians will become poorer and poorer in buhari's government only they are too gullible and ignorant to see what's coming. The Americans have been waiting and rubbing their palms together and waiting for this opportunity to milk nigeria and ruin her economy.like they have done to other developing countries. I applaud your intergrity! |

musicwriter: Do you know Obama's presidential campaign manager was the same person that handled the APC's 2015 campaign?.
It's time to reap their investment, people!. That's how neo-colonialism works. Neo-colonialism works by tying third world countries to unequal business relationships with western powers. At the end, the USA and UK would be the ones to benefit from all these so called business partnership while we become poorer in the long run.
Nigeria is literally for sale now, that's why all these visits.
You will witness more visits from Canada, Britain, France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Netherlands, Switzerland, name them. All of them want to help you!. China have joined in the race.
This's why Lord Kwame Nkrumah after looking at all these said "neo-colonialism is the last stage of imperialism".
Neo-colonialism is the last stage of slavery. Gbam! This is it! Do you know that white people regret leaving nigeria in the 1960s, so they wlll do anything to colonise again, infact they never left nigerian because they have been controling the likes of buhari since nigerian independent. And all other lap Dogs Goverments, why would any sane human steal and loot from their government and bank the looted fund in an European or UK banks? While his own country people are in poverty. The only way the European, chinese and UK Government survives and boost their economy is buy neo-colonising and impoverishing other developing countries like nigeria, thereby making them poorer under the guise of either onvesting or Giving aid, charities or donations (as in bill gates) Its only a great minds like yours that will make this brilliant observation, i applaud your integrety and intelligent. I fear nigerians are going to become more poorer in buhari's government all the will get is promise, promise and more promise and the blaming of the last PDP government in the next 4 years. kingbee109: Bros, I don tire oo. This thing dey always worry me! It saddens my heart that Nigerian security institution like the police is involved in a mess like this. This Tomola that they said is their leader is not actually their leader but one of them. The real leader of the gang called Segun Ogbere(aka Shaggy) was hacked to death by his rival cult group called DownTown boys about 3yrs ago. It was his 2nd in command called Anarchy, who was killed by the police last year, that took over from him after his death. So this Tomola Ogbere is the senior brother to Segun Ogbere. And in their fraternity, I don't think the position is based on familial hierarchical structure.
The police is very very very bias and corrupt. although nigerian police can be corrupt most off the time, i would add that they the police are also Afraid of repraisal attack against them or their families plus the do not get paid well for any of them to lose their lives so it becomes a case of "if you can't beat them join them) the whole thing from the gang/cult members down to the police is all about money and power. Which involves rape, extortion, drug dealings, contract killings and intimidation most gang/cult members are ussually unemployed cowards (thats why they go in groups) who has no families thus nothing to lose, in fact some times it appears to them that they are better dead just to put and end to their miserable, lonely cocaine sniffing or crack smoking lives. Hence why they don't care who the murder or harm |

MotorConnectz: I don't see what people see in cultism. Some people are so addicted to it. I believe only cowards join it. You are not a man if u can't stand on your own and face your own problem but rather join a group to help you in a bad manner. Most of the people in the cult won't even give a Damn about you. They can even ride u to get what they want and yet you boast you a cultist jumping up and down flying colour making noise. What is the aim of forming a bad group? Nothing productive at the end of the day. I have friends from wonder homes I lost because they joined a cult. Ask me why? I don't know. May Lord guide us all it's all about having control of the area, same with gangs here and in the US, when they are in group it's easier to intimidate, extort, steal, sell drugs and incite fear into the people residing in that area so when the rival gangs sees that there is a lot of money to be made in a certain area they began to fight and murder each other to see which gang is dangerous enough to take control of the area. The reason they Destroy, burn down houses or murder is to show residents how dangerous they are, thus no one would challenge them or report their activities to the police, because of fear of the gangs or cult as you guys call them in nigeria, in the case of nigerian police there is nothing they can do to these gang/cult members because they the police are Afraid of the gangs/ cult members. So becomes a case of "if you can't beat them, join them" all gang/cult members are ussually Unemployed cowards who has nothing to loose.hence why they resort in destroying other peoples property. Most of them do not have families so are ready to die any time just to put an end to their frustrated and miserable lives I hope i have helped in answering your question as to why people joim gangs/cults. Believe me i know. Man was a gang member. |

kingbee109: This is good but the police is not doing a complete job. Why? This cultists have rival called the DownTown boys. The Down Town boys are never arrested, why? Are the police biased? Before this boys burnt the said house, the DownTown boys who are based around Abule Oja and Abule Ijesha orchestrated a stealth kill of two members of these arrested boys on Friday 22-2016. The reason why the house was razed down is what I don’t know but the police should do a complete job by arresting both sides. All of them are evil and deadly.
There are still many of them inside ebute Ilaje and their activities is disturbing the sand business in ebute Ilaje. Anytime any Tipper is driving along Abule Oja or Abule Ijesha and the DownTown boys accost them on the road, it means trouble for the tipper driver and its passengers, as money and other valuables would be forcefully extorted by these evil DownTown boys
To me, these boys are easy to arrest because mere looking at them, one would know them. And they most times carry small bag across their shoulder. The bag they carry is what they use to carry gun up and down.
My pain is that these boys would be released once the police see money. Five of these boys were arrested last year by the Eleweran police command in Ogun state for stealing a car. Now the five people arrested are now walking free in Ebute Ilaje Bariga Lagos. What happened? Has the case been swept under the carpet? Or the court of law of competent jurisdiction discharged and acquitted them? I guess not. Just yesterday, 24-01-2016, the police patrol van stationed in Ebute Ilaje Bariga to patrol the area left the place and immediately, the cultists started their usual Sunday meeting. And just immediately the cultists finished their meeting, the police van returned to its normal parking place. Was that a coincidence? Or planned? The police is doing nothing! Absolutely nothing! They wine and dine with evil boys they are supposed to arrest! Who does that?! I’ve seen with my eyes where some top shots of this boys in Ebute Ilaje Bariga buy drinks and give money to the policemen that are supposed to arrest these boys. It is an eyesore! Very backward! A breach of trust! Aiding and abetting criminals! There are many things I've seen and heard. I can't say it all. Only God can save us if this is true? Then people living in that area are doomed. Besides i thought that the government of change promised security of nigerians when they were campaigning? So were the hell!? Has the security gone? |

ISpiksDaTroof: Why isn't he handcuffed? Why are his friends and family allowed to go so close to him that the security man with the Gun is already starting to feel threatened?
He's a high profile Defendant who is prone to violence and shouldn't be in a position to be wagging his fingers at anyone let alone the men in charge of the public's safety. What if his family passed him a key to break out of jail? What if they passed him a weapon: a knife? Gun? Grenade? Poison? cyanide? You think my assumptions are outlandish until it happens. This is the problem with the black man: you are never proactive, always reactive.
Desperate people will do anything out of desperation to get out of a desperate situation: NEVER PUT ANYTHING PAST A DESPERATE PERSON, ESPECIALLY ONE IN CAPTIVITY. EVERYBODY WILL DO WHATEVER'S NECESSARY TO REGAIN THEIR FREEDOM.
For the safety of the public---and the accused---Nigeria needs to start taking more security-conscious measures in how it handles suspected criminals while they are in Government custody or within court premises; especially those that have espoused the use of violence [against civilian targets]. i think you will find it's only you who has this kinda mindset, i am Afraid it don't seem like any one else agree, you must be disappointed? |
