they should pray for the peace of nigeria. |
chivita is the best fruit juice packaging company in nigeria currently with very strong brands. |
but if the laptop is dead then he should throw it away. |
no i wont. |
Thank God its not near the niger delta. |
@mariory; we have heard your opinion and we thank you for the information which is a replica of what the NPC chairman said. this is a dress rehearsal for what will happen in the next elections. right in front of my office now now now; they have taken over the place. an entire LG area has relocated their administrative staff and they have been photocopying and carrying census forms since yesterday. they are complete with mobile policemen making sure nobody interferes. i was not thumbprinted infact they just mark your hand to indicate that you have been counted after filling the form for you. But again I will say its not a failure cause they are perfecting their plans for the mother of all election come 2007 |
they have started government magic. these wicked politicians are doing what they know best. i have just observed some activity in front of my office. since yesterday they have been photocopying census form in their thousands, they come in 2 buses and 2 cars including a mercedes benz vboot with a local government number. They are well protected with enough mobile policemen and they are photocopying census materials. Did i hear that MR. President said that photocopies are invalid? Infact I saw the president say that double entries will be detected through the thumb prints. This must be a huge joke cause the enumerators did not take any thumb print in our house; they only marked our fingers after filling the forms for us. This must be a dress rehearsal for the 2007 elections. Them don they dabaru everything. |
i don't blame dem ugandans; when our useless leaders go about squandering our money in the name of being our brother's keeper. What do we get in return insults and more insults. |
i wont say its a failure because i did not expect anything better. the common man is forced to starve at home while the big shots move about in sirens. just imagine staying in the house with this our weather and no electricity you will want to run MAD. |
fela anikulapo kuti sang a song of how truth don die, i recommend it to everyone as that is our problem in Nigeria. The only thing we agree on must surely be a lie. |
is it only 24? Haba which kind life? |
there is a general idea that this whole hardship be extended for at least 2 more days. |
@agatonaa; i wont advise you to study computer science in UNIPORT but as for Political Science, UNIPORT is quite good. I must say that different schools have their different strengths. @codecc; lets not get sentimental here, when they ask about the best school in owerri then perhaps u can start mentioning FUTO. The problem with we Nigerians is we deceive ourselves a lot. There is no comparison between Port Harcourt which is ametropolitan in nature and Owerri which is an abandoned village as the politicians have relocated to Orlu. Even UST is by far better than FUTO. Tuition in Nigeria has been privatised. Indeed after UNILAG i think UNIPORT is the next expensive school. If you don't have money then please go to FUTO. But when compared to the least private university the fees are cheap. Private Universities take like N400 000 which is about twice what you'll spend. Staying off campus is for the wealthy and adventurous ones with rooms going for like 70, 000 with guaranteed 6 hours of NEPA a day and water. |
chief2b and softee have said it all |
this is quite interesting; we are getting there by the day. |
what can they do? a state under siege. |
Even here in Port Harcourt, they put the hungry, weather beaten, illiterate enumerators to flight claiming that they are from BIAFRA; whatever that means. I have never seen so much confusion before. Do these politicians think we are zombies? today they say go to work, tomorrow they say stay at home. Many businesses are counting their losses and they say we will gain in the end. What gain can come to a man who died of hunger in the midst of plenty. |
overnight the rivers state government has changed their mind and declared a 12midnight to 5pm no movement beginning thursday. they now claim that the census Act does not allow people to be counted in their offices so everyone should stay at home. A lot of trained enumerators have suddenly disappeared after collecting their transport allowance forcing 2000 untrained people to be recruited. There was some misunderstanding between the enumerators and some market people who claimed they were from biafra which resulted in the enumerators making a quick dash for their dear lives. Meanwhile money made available by the state government to the local authorities to provide food and refreshments for the enumerators; i hear it was N20 million naira per local government has disappeared so the enumerators are now refugees moving about living on the goodwill of the nigerians they are meant to count. |
most buildings are not maintained in nigeria; just look at the sight of that relic. |
190 million |
I live, work and school in UNIPORT while my younger sister is in RSUST. There is no comparison, University of Port Harcourt is not just the best in Port Harcourt and indeed the south south but ranks quite highly amongst Nigerian Universities in a lot of things. We have not had any violence - cult or otherwise recently and our academic calender has not been disrupted in the last 5 years. We have produced Miss Nigeria and Miss World and have hosted NUGA games in the last 3 years. Please feel free to ask your questions and i will try my best to give you an uncompromised answer. |
i suggest nihu ribadu; he will do a thorough job. |
this has been a very helpful section. |
please comment on networks for small businesses with PCs not exceeding 30. |
i agree with seun there, she should leave charles taylor in Nigeria and focus on massive infrastructural development. |
can someone please define the word "emotional"? i don't like sterotypes and i like being me. hugs are something i scarcely do because i think its a white man's thing which we are just adapting. as for crying - i have done so once this year and again it depends on the circumstances and environment. i think we africans originally because of our culture and astute moral values did not engage in such sentimental expressions. |
i am still watching. |
i heard the last time God did that was in the days of Adam; giving the nigerian factor i'd warn you to be very careful. |
it was not a hype then why was the period extended? all this theories of 100% increase is what will derail you. Apart from IPO's or private placement you better open your eye wellu wellu when buying shares. Have you guys consideres other implications such as tax and brokerage fees in the dispensation of your shares to get 200% profit.? |
