If South Africa wants to be proseprous, they have to increase their manufacturing power. This recession came about because they got too dependent on exporting raw materials, and less dependent on exporting manufactured stuff.

Part of the problem is that the arphateid government refused to improve vocational and technical education among the black majority. Because they did not want them to get stronger than the white minority. This meant that as a result, when arphateid came down, SA was not really ready for the global market.

SA could have been an industrial superpower on the level of Japan, China and even Germany. Racism failed them.

The ANC government when they took over, made matters worse. Because there was a high demand for welfare from the poor black majority, they immeidately put their economy on 'sell raw materials, earn money, share the money' mode. Chinese exports wiped out vital parts of their economy like the steel industry. At the end of the day, SA became a resource dependent economy.

A big lesson for Nigeria too.

The sooner they hand that country back to the white man, the better for them.

Nigeria's problem again is lack of birth control. People marrying without financial direction or preparation for the kids they intend to birth.

People getting married without financial preparation or backup, but hoping on luck, fate and relatives to help them out!

A guy I know divorced his wife straight after sh delivered of their first child... He saved for the D- day..but still fell short of 95k cuz there was complication of deliverering that no one expected.....

While he run from pillar to post to his friends seeking a soft loan pending wen he is paid..the wife still held at the hospital sent her younger sis,who stays with them to secretly go to the house go nd to her matrimonial room nd collect the 65k sh kept in her bag b4 d hubby mistakenly sees it

Unfortunately for her the hubby went home nd met his teenage in law with 65k cash....sh TLD him her elder sis instruction....


He was shocked...nd told the gal to go ahead nd deposit d money to d wife's bank as sh was instructed by her. He continued his nuzzle nd two days later he got them out of the hospital paying 126k additional from the first delivery cost...

Sh came back home nd can't look him in the eyes...quarell after quarelk ensued DT led to divorce exactly one month later....

Gals of this days are too stingy nd mny of them take d Character into marriages.....never ever Marry a lady DT will not b supportive..as a guy,u can't solve all them financial problems in marriage...

Same here, public power supply is not so bad but the dust and soot is terrible. The indiscriminate burning of bush too.

Do you see the ojoro in Jos, Enugu, Port Harcourt and Benin DISCOS? All others were held in the towns that bear the names while these ones were moved to Bauchi, Owerri, Calabar and Asaba.

The twitter picture prompted me to dig into Nigerian service chiefs and something just occurred to me.


1. The Chief of defense staff in a yoruba man and a christian

2. The Chief of navy staff is from the SS and a christian

3. The Chief of Airstaff is a northerner I am not sure of his religion but he attended a catholic school.

4. of the last 10 Airforce chiefs, 8 have been Christian, and only 2 come from the core north, The other 8 have been from the south or middle belt

5. The chief of Armry staff is a Northern Muslim


so what is all the fuss?

In the history of the navy, there have only been 2 northern Chiefs out of 20

In the history of the Army, there have been 13 christian or southern chiefs of Army staff out of 24...more than half.
