Hello colleagues, is there anyone affected in the February and March payment issues been paid so far after the biometric? please, we need urgent replies. thanks in advance.

....my former colleague although an old staff in my school now transferred to the ministry of education...was not paid Feb and march his banking with zenith he just called to confirm his being paid April and may this night...I was so happy like say na me receive am....my dear there is hope for us....relax

please I just want to know if anyone or anyone we know that was not paid Feb and march salaries and but have received after filling the incident form and done the biometric under ube or other ministries?....

........so after the biometric you will beg and ask again when to be paid.....na wa ....I did my biometric first of July too... hopefully, we will be paid, they've paid all those that did from first June to 17th June apart from omitted cases....so am thinking they might pay 20th June to ist July....na assumption sha.....since they were suppose to pay us two weeks after the biometric.

This early hours of this evening. The breaking News we got on air is that, His Excellency,the Governor of Rivers state stated that no civil servant is being owned salary. He said that all civil servants have been paid,that those that have not been paid have not done the "Almighty Biometrics". So,my fellow teachers, how do we react to this issue? Is it assumed that every civil servant,including us,have received salaries till date?

In the Morning, News had it that the new TUC chairman said he'll find out why most of us have not received salaries up to date after the biometric exercise. He continued his statement by saying that the "so-called exercise" has no timeline.

In this case,how are we going to air our plights before this present government? From what I am seeing right now,technically, no civil servant is being owned.I may be wrong,but I need someone to analyse this findings.

........I won't be surprised if wine made such flimsy political statement...he has this bogus way of saying things...but I have my hands and kneels....and I know God won't fall us....he did not bring us out of Egypt to let us go back there...and no Nigerian pharaoh of a governor, people in the ICT, finance, board can take us back.

This is the worst experience in my life. We that are in PPSB are in a terrible quagmire. How are some of us surviving? Can somebody throw more light on how one with family is surviving this period so that I can follow suit. No where to borrow money from again.

RIVERS STATE GOVERNMENT IS UP TO DATE IN
TERMS OF PAYMENT OF SALARIES ---FINANCE
COMMISSIONER
Rivers State Government has declared that that it is up-to-
date in terms of salary payment to her work-force.
In an interview on Tuesday, the State Commissioner for
Finance, Dr Fred Kpakol informed that only staff who are yet
to do their biometric are yet to be paid.
The Finance Commissioner stated that about 75 percent of the
State's Workforce have been captured and paid their monthly
salaries for the preceding months.
He noted: "The moment you do your biometric to authenticate
that you are a bonafide civil servant, you get paid. For those
who will be captured this month, they will be paid their
outstanding salaries.
"Rivers State is not owing salaries. The state is doing
biometric authentication of civil servants which is a three-
month exercise. The exercise ends on July 29, 2016. By
then, we will have a comprehensive data of all bonafide civil
servants in the state"
The Finance Commissioner added that the process for the
payment of June salaries has been concluded.
In a statement, Special Assistant to the Rivers State
Governor on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu recalled that
Governor Wike had directed that only civil servants who have
undergone biometric exercise be paid.
The statement added that so far, the Rivers State
Government has saved N2billion through the highly successful
biometric capture of civil servants in the state.
Members of the public are therefore advised to disregard
falsehood being peddled by defeated politicians through their
media associates that the Rivers State Government has
defaulted in the monthly payment of salaries.

wike paid my aunt who is a nurse, banking with eco bank and who did their biometric on the 8th of June 2months salary on Monday 11 July I saw the alert myself...my aunty was all smiles because her biometric passed one month before the pay come, at one point she was asking me , I thought you said it was two weeks before pay will come... I was so happy for her and jealous at the same time. at least I go get airtime money inside.

and these are hard times economically must the governor embark on all the projects at ones....some of these projects would not even impact on the life's of the people...but workers salaries not been paid have direct effect on market traders, school owners etc....

Come, anyone that has received alert should say it o, let's be sure the biometrics for SSSB is not a hoax. Come to think of it, I heard that the governor a.k.a. Daddy Wikks has gotten approval from the house of assembly to take another loan of N9bn. Does anyone know what it's meant to service?

They extract information for the old one. In my own case the guy that enter my information in old biometric make mistake with my age, now as they want to extract information from the old one ,they notice that there is age difference. So they ask and I tender my birth certificate

please can someone explain this incidence matter better...its still surprising that after all these years and the old biometric done...someone's name cannot be found in their system.....do they go back to the old payroll to extract ones details before capturing them in incident cases?

so when will they pay...I thought this whole exercise was ending on the 15 or 25 of july....? poor workers, we bear the brunt of the thievery of government....the governor has no clue as to how workers have been reduced to virtually lies...because your debtors would not understand....he eats free food, lives in free house pay no transport...But God dey....

am not sure APC would agree with falana....in my own opinion economy where far better and stable in Jonathan's administration than now.....I know some people will be quick to use better crude oil sales as a criterion for that....wat about agriculture have our farmers stop planting and harvesting now....prices of food stuff have gone up 100% in just one year....GMB should focus on food security so that the poor can feed, and yes the last administration was corrupt and which one wasn't, from our military era, to obansanjo....corruption thrive because our society is so materialist and our leadership greedy....our politicians have not changed since 1999....the same old corrupt people are still circulating, floating parties, occupying political positions....he shouldn't just focus on a particular group of people but go all out to fight it....including those in his cabinet with corruption allegations..and yes the past administration is gone can we move forward already and stop leaving in the past....I want a new nigeria....am eager for the desired change not this untold hardship and femi Nigerians are suffering...just saying...God bless what ever is left of Nigeria.
