Which way forward gurus...kind of confused, should I try MSc, won't it look ridiculous that I got bsc overnight?? And I just concluded my Nysc and this forth coming ssvf won't be funny which way forward peeps, trigger aren't quitting.... Thanks to Eric so far he is wonderful, thanks to all that contributed, previously I still need you guys help...cos am pressured to use agents in naija...
Your basis of refusal is very daisy, u have to sit down and plan very well to apply again. And don't try to apply with Bsc for now, u will be seriously bounced for misleading and hiding of information. I will even recommend u use a migration agent if u insist you are going to Australia by all means. If it's on financial ground then u can reload your account and reapply. But it's of genuineness of certificate and existence of place of work. U have to correct that and make provisions for where it can be verified. Maybe creating a website address or something.

Similar case happened to me, we spoke together for twenty seven minutes all because the mail she ask me to reply was not receive by her. I exceeded the size limit of the mail content and it couldn't be deliver.

That is if you have dollars in your domiciliary account. The bank will not convert your Naira to dollar.
Take your Naira and buy dollar from forex, then put it in your domicilliary account. Then transfer to wherever abroad. Simple

First of all, congrats. secondly before i give you the bad news... i got an offer to study graduate program as well in university of newcastle and till now as we speak, i am still trying to pay my school fees using the "best" payment option western Union business solution, telegraphic transfer aka FORM A. i have been on this process since the 4th of january. i hv tried everything i can to pay my fees but to no avail. then just today, i saw this http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/2016/01/cbn-stops-daily-currency-auction-for-banks/ CBN has stopped selling forex to banks. meaning the hope of paying my school fees using FORM A is dead!!!!!

so here is my advice, you hv to look for another alternative to pay your deposit. if you know any other potentially successful means pls help me out
Gtbank just send me a post now that u can transfer deposit in your account now through Internet banking or at any of their branch in excess $10,000 per day, I believe u can use this medium to pay your fees.

Nice article! Through out my stay in uni, I am always loaded with cash. I do not ask my mom ( a widow) for money except there is no work. I single handedly sponsored myself through out uni and even give my mum and younger ones money anytim I go to their place. Reason being that, when I finished sec sch, I left the comfort of my mum's house to go learn a skill which helped me to purchase my waec, jamb and post ume, and tuitions through out my stay in the uni. I graduated last year with a 2nd class upper, which I do not see as big deal ( to me) cuz I hav sumtin doing.
Bro and sis, nobody is too young to make money, education does not guarantee wealth but ur hustle and prayers do. My younger bro is just 14 in j.s 2 but this guy makes a thousand naira everyday when he is on holiday cuz he knows about photoshop and he goes to lab to edit pix for pple.
Good one. God bless you.

Truth be told, all students have heard this 1001 times....

But there's no encouragement in the society, when you see Martin Elechi of 85 years still contesting for political power where do you now want the students to occupy when they are done with school?

Even if they resort to entrepreneurship the society is still a barrier, no stable power supply neither is there security.

It all bothers on the government and their policies. A government that gives youths 1million naira immediately after graduation to start up a business will encourage many other youths to become entrepreneurs.
Sir, I don't agree with you, any information you receive and don't act on it will never deliver positively in your life . Sometime our mentality cripple our ability to perform. Stop thinking of who to give you up to a million Naira to start a business now, start thinking of what to do where you are to generate money. The oops have said it all but majority will still be a victim. For instance been an undergraduate there lots of business that u can start with your pocket money or maintenance fees, such as hair stylist, dry cleaning, photocopy/handout printing for student etc. even as a lady u can start with make up artist for friends( birthday, wedding etc ) at a fees, trading( clothing, shoes, weaveon etc) but we sometimes consider ourselves too big for all these jobs. I read a lot about Dangote 14yrs before I meet with him in person, he started with his head, distributing cement at site, he later bought wheel barrow with money realize to distribute the said cement to client at site. Rented a shop and become a sole distributor of the product, after some years he started importation and later become a manufacturer of cement and other products. Today he is a major entrepreneur in Africa and beyond and also an employer of labour.
I know our economy is bad but you can still start something where u are and soon become a major attention the world is seeking. Until you give yourself to task, it can't give back to you. You don't just grow big, you manage well to grow big. Until people around sees you doing something meaningful they can't commit anything into your hand to assist you. Start somewhere now and stop waiting for encouragement from anyone, those u are looking up for encouragement are equally discouraged.

I guess you got a text asking you to call a particular number, that your ATM card has been de-activated.

For the love of God delete that sms and do not call that specified number as it's a fraud. You would be asked to get your ATM card and call out your pan (the number behind the card). Once that's done, your funds will immidiately disappear from your account.
I got the message too, this is the exact message sent to me and the number I was asked to call.
"Dear customer, Due to our BVN system upgrade your ATM CARD has been deactivated, to re activate, kindly call the interswitch customer care line on +2347068295911". This is the sender number +2348168922325.
I guess some of the banking staffs might be involve in this scams, but if it's so then it's a big shame to our banking industry. Unfortunately I don't even use Atm cards for my cash withdrawals and also I knew that it's a scam because am well informed and learned. Central bank of Nigeria will never direct interswitch to carry out such obligation. I hope this will enlighten people not to fall for such scams. And I employ appropriate security and law enforcement agent to follow up on this to apprehend the fraudsters.

Some ladies don't just deserved to loved and cherished by some responsible, good looking and intelligent man. I feel no pity for the lady involve here. Am happy for the man in the write ups because if he had married that same lady it would have been the greatest mistake of his life because every thing in his entire life will be affected negatively. it's a disaster when u go into relationship without a deep understanding of what love is all about and what you truly wanted out of it. Little wonder a wise man once said " when the usefulness of a thing isn't known abuse is inevitable ".

The way Google has make lots of us lazy this days is quite alarming! U can get virtually all information you need online with very less effort. And those that don't have access tertiary education gains the advantage too. Even when u can't spelt correctly Google will still ask you, DID U MEAN? Honestly, so many have been lazy in carrying out a comprehensive research that will broaden our horizon as a result of readily information available on the network.
WebmastersSee, Too Much Of Googling Weakens Your Brain Capacity. by Otunba4eva(op): 5:50am On Jan 11, 2016
Having the world at our fingertips around the clock takes a lot of the pressure off our minds to remember basic facts. But the ability to find answers on search engines like Google is also killing our memories, a recent report by cybersecurity firm Kaspersky Lab shows.

When asked a question, one-third, or 36%, of Europeans said they would look up the answer online before trying to remember it and 24% admitted they would promptly forget the information after using it, the report found.

The study, conducted by UK-based market research firm Opinion Matters, surveyed a group of 6,000 men and women over the age of 16 from the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Benelux earlier this year to see how technology impacted their memories.
“Looking up information online, instead of trying to recall it ourselves, makes us shallower thinkers,” said Dr. Maria Wimber of the University of Birmingham’s School of Psychology, in a statement. “Passively repeating information (e.g. by repeatedly looking it up on the Internet) does not create a solid, lasting memory trace.”

And we’re forgetting more than just the little things we look up sporadically, like directions to a restaurant, or the name of the actress on Law and Order or who won the last World Cup. Our reliance on technology is damaging our ability to remember boilerplate information from our daily lives, the report found.

The vast majority of parents in the group who were surveyed couldn’t dial the telephone number of children’s schools from memory, and more than half couldn’t call their kids’ cell phones without looking up the number first.

It’s hardly shocking then that most people surveyed would feel sad or panicked if they lost their connected devices, since they often remember more about our lives than we do.

RomanceRe: Am I Wasting My Time With This Guy? Pls Help!!!!!! by Otunba4eva: 9:28am On Jan 08, 2016
I think you have to cool down and let your ears be open this time, the guy might probably be playing safe and might not believe u aren't dating someone else apart from him. He might also not want to shoulder any financial responsibility on you, looking at it you have about 2years to go, that is if u don't have a carry over. And this same guy might also be having fear of commitment because he doesn't know what may happen in the future. You know u will still be going for youth service and mind you any thing can just happen, you might find another man in the camp, yes it happen! Have seen so many ladies dropping their man just at the last point. So the man who has been committed and shouldering responsibilities since your undergraduate days now suddenly becomes outdated. The guy might have friends giving him a million reason why the relationship can't work. So just cool down and think properly, then talk to him sincerely about the relationship before taking any decision that may cause u a regret.

@nairacountry, you really get mind. You mean u went through those stress with your kids and wife ? You were very lucky your bags weren't snatch by those tout at seme boarders. And with all the boarder to boarder transport you took u have even spend beyond what abc will collect from you. Am imagining those bus u took at tudu aren't even AC buses neither do they serve you any food in the bus, mean while ABC ticket is breakfast and lunch inclusive. Next time just go through ABC transport you will be glad u did.
Although ABC doesn't run faster but u won't have feeling cos there are movies and comedy to keep u laughing, and lucky you if u have to sit with someone that compliment you, then you will both laugh on each other shoulder till u get to your destination. Hello @Otunba4eva & (others who visited Ghana recently)

I read your post on your journey to Ghana. I will like to also visit alone in February 2016.
Please, now that we cant use ATM abroad, how can I get Ghana currency to spend in Ghana?

I will also like to ask if your passport were stamped in Togo & Benin as i want these countries to count towards my travel history.

THanks
Since u aren't coming for business u can take the money u wanted to spend over there along with you. then at the Togo boarder u have opportunity to change your money to cedis or u change it at tudu in Accra.
Those countries will stamp your passport at their respective boarder. Make sure u travel with those transport company so that they can supervise and assist in stamping your passport while u relax and cool off yourself.

sorry have not been online for sometime. Yes the hotel is very close to Abc park. I won't mention the name of the hotel cos am not paid for advertisement. But I will describe it, the hotel is on your way to Ghana telecom university at the left side very close to I think police college or something. It's not far for caprice( ABC park). Use your discreation you will get. The color of the hotel is white and it's a storey building.

Then hotel should not be a barrier to you if you are really serious. I found that hotel that same night I got to Accra and there are better hotels around. Pls do your finding.

Squirrel:
Hello there, this is ambitious for 6 months but not impossible. What you achieve is not so dependent on the "tool" but how you choose to use your chosen tool. There are a few skills I suggest you familiarize yourself with independent of the tool you finally choose (please note these are my personal recommendations based on experience, feel to discard if it feels too burdensome):

1. Version Control Systems e.g. Git - this keeps you orderly, tracks changes to your source code and lays the foundation for incorporating more developers into your project with minimal on-boarding effort.
2. Virtual Machines - I recommend using Vagrant. This helps you setup a re-distributable development machine that is guaranteed to be identical across team members' different computers. Essentially eliminating the problem of "the code works on my machine but doesn't work on yours"
3. Learn to Write Tests for your chosen tool - Automated tests can help you track bugs faster and save on the hours you would have spent manually looking testing your applications for bugs.

I hope this helps someone.
Thanks the wise one, I was able to pick some points. I know I have a serious task ahead, am prepared not to leave any stone unturned.
