What kind of stupid question is that?

So for the fact that they are involved in a sinful relationship, his Idol worshipping gf should automatically have access to the Kingdom of God? If he himself is not born again, he will not enter into that Kingdom.
God is no respecter of persons, be it Pope or Pastor, President or pauper, Except a man be born again, He can not enter into the Kingdom of God.

it is not for you to judge if their relationship is sinful or not, it is obvious you misunderstood the point of the question that was asked and as a typical Christian that you re concluded their relationship is sinful

May I ask you what kind of a Christian you are?
It's very okay to ask questions, but the Bible is your best bet to get the right answers. That's if you are indeed a Christian.
The Bible says study to show yourself approved... So, calm down, study the Islamic God, indeptly, study the Christian God also, and all these other gods, the claims of their heaven and their teachings.
Read, keep an open mind. No bias, just seek for answers, you'll get.

Thanks

This is like asking, "Must I come from the British royal family to be a Queen/King? If you are not, you are can't be.
In this case, a door is opened for you to enter, you say no, but the requirements is that, you enter through the door, but you insist on staying outside, yet you want to be entitled. Does that make sense even To you?

This assertion is according to the Christian faith, right?

sister, you are about to shoot yourself in the foot... you said that you worship God in spirit and in truth in your post and that you love God... if I may ask, which God are you talking about?

back @ your question, simply taste and settle for that which is good.

I am a Christian, being a Christian doesn't mean I won't ask questions about my religion, all I am asking is why my religion says other religions won't make heaven

Just follow what you believe is right. In christianity, many values set have been hyped and misinterpreted by the present generation.
As a result, being a Christian is portrayed as an increasingly difficult, if not impossible task.

Study the word yourself and act based on what you understood from it. Don't just go ahead following what any random "pastor" tells you. If you see a pastor preaching according to what you understood from your study, you should probably follow him up. That'll help you understand more.

Thanks this makes a lot of sense

Religion / Must We Be Christians Or Muslims To Make Heaven? by ournaijablog(f): 10:40am On May 29, 2016
For a very long time, I have been burdened with the thought “Will I make heaven?” Atheists have said Heaven is a myth told by religious fanatics to make God seem more real and reachable. Whether I believe this theory or not about heaven is a personal thought I am not willing to share but one thing I do believe in is the existence of God.

I have always insisted I am not religious, I am more of a spiritual entity, I believe God can be worshipped in spirit and in truth right in my house and in my heart.

If I am to go back to religion, the two predominant religions on earth (Christianity and Islam) has already stamped it here on earth that if we do not worship God according to their religion we will not make heaven. This is where my dilemma begins, I have asked a million questions in my mind if this is right, what if I decide I do not want to be a Christian anymore, according to the Christian faith I would be an unbeliever and I won’t make heaven, if I were a Muslim and I decide not to be one anymore, this automatically makes me an infidel and also means I won’t make heaven.

I am a pacifist and a good person at heart, isn’t that enough to get me into heaven’s gate? I have repeatedly asked myself, I have killed no one, I love my neighbors, I help the needy, I do not envy and I try to preach love all the time. I love God in my heart and I acknowledge his existence, must I belong to a religious sect to meet him on the last day?

China is the most populated country on earth, with a population of about 1.357 billion, more than half the country worship different gods, does this mean they won’t make heaven? We haven’t talked about India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, and so on, if according to the Christian faith all these people are unbelievers does it mean billions of people won’t make heaven?.

The Christians believe the Muslims are unbelievers, and the Muslims believe the Christians are infidels, they both believe any other religion aside theirs are idol worshippers and should never be practiced.

I am of African descent; my ancestors were idol worshippers, millions of them. They didn’t know about the Christian faith back in the day, they worshipped and sacrificed to their idols, does this mean millions of my ancestors didn’t make heaven?.

There are tons of religions on earth aside Islam and Christianity, Taoism, Hinduism, Confucianism, Shinto, Gnosticism, Zoroastrianism, Yazdanism, Rastafarian Movement, Indigenous traditional religions, Naturalist religion this is just to name a few and we have millions of people who practice these religions and believe they are communicating with a supreme being, does this mean they won’t make heaven?

The contradictions in these different religions beg the question “Who worships the one true God”? “ If heaven is real who amongst these different religious sect will make heaven”? it is a thing of wonder that these different religious sect seem to believe in one “God” but their religious beliefs must be the right one to meet the same “God” they all seem to believe in.

I was born in a Christian home so that automatically makes me a Christian; I was taught and told that if I associate with an unbeliever I won’t make heaven, this means I have to disassociate myself from non-Christian folks if I wanted to make heaven. This is a funny rule because I have been told the Christian faith is about “LOVE”. When I look at all the radical Muslims and their fastest way of going to heaven to meet “GOD” and their promise of 72 virgins I begin to wonder “WHY IS HEAVEN SO FAR AWAY, WHY MUST WE DO THE UNDOABLE TO GET THERE”.

I know I do not share these thoughts alone, only difference is I am bold enough to write about it and its left me with the question, What must I do to make heaven?

Ibeji Isabella.

Health / Is Your :DEPRESSION” Becoming :SUICICDAL”? by ournaijablog(f): 12:24pm On Apr 27, 2016
Most of the things I write about or have written about just happen to be one of the things I have gone through in life.

I have gone through depression thrice and so far I have only told one person and that was recently. What triggered my first depression? I had no idea I was depressed, I didn’t even know what depression was I thought it was a “WHITE PEOPLE” sickness and there was no way a strong African girl like me could ever be depressed.

I had written an exam and my name suddenly disappeared from the list, this happened twice already so I felt I was cursed it broke me completely and called my mum for several minutes I couldn’t say a word I kept crying and wailing. My mother was scared, she always said I was the strongest person she knew and she had never seen me cry in my adult life, later on she told me she thought I was going to kill myself that day because I cried with so much pain she had to send my brother who traveled over ten hours to come get me.

Do you find it strange that it is those we have perceived to be happy who are always depressed or suicidal? In Africa very few people do not even know what depression is, they pass it off as mood swings saying it will pass before you know it they become a shadow of themselves. Most of our psychologists in Africa are out of jobs, no one can afford a therapist or they mostly see them as quacks and a waste of their time.

The second time I was depressed was worse and this time I had friends all around me and yet no one noticed. It turned me to a drunk who’s only joy was getting “HIGH” I didn’t know what triggered this I just knew I wasn’t happy, inside me I was dead but strangely I always seemed to make others happy. I lost a lot of weight; I wouldn’t get out of bed unless I was going to get alcohol and for a time my education suffered but yet no one notice or rather I wouldn’t talk to anyone about it because I was very good at hiding my feelings and not trusting anyone.

I toyed with killing myself for a while; it seemed perfect I said no one would miss me, would they even notice I wasn’t alive anymore? Would my absence mean anything to them? Only if I could watch while I was dead to see how many people would miss me while I was gone! The only reason I didn’t go through with it was because my fear of “HELLFIRE” was very real.

I have heard people say Black Africans are the strongest people on earth and Africa is one of the strongest continents in the world with very deep roots, they say we are immune to suicide and whenever a black man commits suicide he is seen as a weakling who’s balls weren’t strong enough, do you see this as the truth? I used to; until I got depressed and saw I wasn’t as strong as I had made myself believe I was just like every other person on earth with red blood running through my veins.

Have you heard this saying “the saddest people tend to laugh the most”? sadly this is very true, for a while I refused to believe this I said oh I am just a jolly fellow who loved to laugh, people with little to give always tend to want to give more because they know what it means not to have, I laughed a lot because I had no joy in my life and was always trying to fill it with laughter that never got to my soul.

My third depression was recent and I am currently getting over it, I do not want to talk about this so as not to jinx my healing process but for a few weeks now someone has made me genuinely happy and finally I have come to see that this world needs someone like me, I have a lot to offer and I have planned to be happy for the remainder of my days here on earth.

Are you depressed? Do you think no one would miss you when you’re gone? You think life is better without you in it? You feel no one really loves you? Please have a rethink because once you’re dead it’s over and you wouldn’t have the chance to have the answers to you questions. Always be positive, it worked for me learn to love yourself and you would find you need not depend on anyone for happiness. Learn to talk to people about your problems it helps, so the pressure doesn’t weigh you down, finally you are not alone in this world never for one moment think you are, there are so many people who love you and if for once you think there’s no one try and love yourself it’s the greatest gift one can give to oneself.
