Romance / He Wants To Have “ANAL SEX” What Should I Do? by ournaijablog(f): 12:02pm On Apr 26, 2016
John and I have been dating for a few months, everything was going well and I was having the time of my life. I was happy and in love and John always took care of me, making sure I wanted for nothing. The sex was awesome and adventurous and we were always trying new things then few nights ago he dropped a bombshell “Nneka I want to have anal sex with you”.

Anal sex? I said, he said yes; well I told him I wasn’t interested in having it with anyone not now not ever! I have heard how painful and unsafe it was and I wasn’t ready to have a leaking anus. Yesterday night he asked again, saying if I really loved him I would do it with him or he would go do it with someone else, my heat broke; why was I so unlucky with love I asked myself? I love John a lot and I might just do it with him.

This story up there is what a lot of women go through. They are emotionally blackmailed in the name of love, “if you love me you would do this, you would do that”, Love has no price tag.

There has always been a debate on how safe anal sex is, while some have argued it is very safe others believe it helps in the spread of infections. The anus is full of bacteria, even if both partners do not have a sexually transmitted disease; bacteria normally in the anus can potentially affect the giving partner. Practicing vaginal sex after anal sex can also lead to vaginal and urinary tract infections.

These are the common misconceptions about anal sex

It will hurt; it doesn’t have to if done correctly.

Once it hurt it will always hurt; this is not true.

Having anal sex will save your sex life; do not let anyone deceive you, having anal sex should be a choice you willing and solemnly take by yourself, you shouldn’t be coerced or forced or blackmailed into giving it.

Only sluts have anal sex; this is a big lie millions of women around the world enjoy anal sex.

Your man won’t respect you later; sometimes it helps partners get emotionally closer like they have share a part of themselves with each other.

It will cause you physical damage; well any type of sex done wrongly will cause physical damage.

You don’t need to use condoms while having anal sex; yes you can’t get pregnant having anal sex but the risk of infection is very high.

Your anus will get all stretched out; this is purely a misconception, this depends on your ability to relax and have it in a healthy way. The same way the vaginal can accommodate al types of joysticks and never stretch so can the anus.

It is literally dirty; this is probably one of the biggest misconceptions about anal sex. The anus and the lower part of the rectum actually have very little fecal material in them, which means it tends not to be as dirty as you think it is. This doesn’t mean you have to transfer the elements into the vaginal by having anal sex and then vaginal sex because they are two different environments, if you’re going to have anal sex and vagina sex make sure after anal se you wash with an antimicrobial soap.

Anal sex can be enjoyed, safe and painless but it has to be a choice you should make by yourself and not your partner blackmailing you into it, it will not help boost your relationship when you aren’t doing it for the love of it. If your partner insists on it I think it’s time you walk away.

Crime / Re: Why Women Get “WET” During RAPE by ournaijablog(f): 1:20pm On Apr 25, 2016

Op you should know better
are you asking me if I have been raped? If so the answer is no and I pray I or some other persons don't fall victim thanks
Crime / Why Women Get “WET” During RAPE by ournaijablog(f): 12:25pm On Apr 25, 2016
While this is a very sensitive issue to talk about, I feel most women out there need to be made aware of this fact. Rape is one of the worst, vile crime to commit and for someone to experience, it leaves most victims asking ‘WHY?’ why me? Why was I picked out? Did I encourage his acts? Did I dress indecently? Was I too forward? Why did I get drunk with him?

Being a victim of rape is not your fault as the victim, there’s no justification for someone to commit such a vile act against a person. You didn’t encourage him, you didn’t lead him on and yet it happen, dressing indecently has never been an excuse for one animal to pounce on a helpless defenseless victim.

I saw a video sometime ago on the internet, three men were raping a young girl and she kept crying and begging for them to leave her alone and allow her go home, a friend who was seeing this same video with me said “there’s no way this girl didn’t enjoy being raped at a point in this video, look at her she’s even wet” I was shocked I argued and said she had no control over how her body responded her being wet doesn’t mean she’s enjoying it.

I felt really bad a woman could say such, while my heart broke for the victim I began to ask myself the ultimate question here “why was this girl wet”? Was she really enjoying it? Could it be? I wouldn’t bring myself to believe such so I started making research.
I found out that being “WET” during or before intercourse is the vaginal’s way of preparing itself for sex, “PENETRATION” for rape it is a protection mechanism so there is no much injury on the vaginal, our bodies have totally and absolutely no control over this, when something like this happens do not feel your body has betrayed you.

Get wet doesn’t only occur during rape, sometimes it happens when we are scared or frustrated, getting aroused during rape is a mental and physical response our bodies have been programmed with. You might be disgusted with what is happening and still get wet. Arousal during rape is an example of a physical response whether the body likes it or not, it’s just like breathing.
Some rapists enjoy making their victims bodies respond to the assault as a sign of dominance. These rapists work to get a physical response from their victims. They have learned how fear and anxiety can correspond to other forms of heightened arousal and they exploit the connection.

Like I said “SUPRA” becoming wet during a rape is also a defense mechanism. The wetter your body becomes during forced intercourse, the less damage done by tearing. Being wet during rape is one of the most emotionally conflicting parts of sexual abuse. The girl does not want sex, but yet her body prepares her for it. Often, rape victims struggle with knowing their body betrayed them.
In similar concept, when a girl feels helpless they often become wet. The wetness is a result of their body preparing them for what could become a situation of rape. Thankfully most helpless situations might not lead to rape but it is possible to get wet anytime we are nervous or scared. This wetness has nothing to do with arousal, it is our body preparing us incase penetration is about to occur, in the same way our bodies prepares us for rape.

Now to all the rape victims, do not feel your body betrayed you, it is not your fault and neither is it your body. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise, I hope this helps a lot of women who are struggling with this question.

Religion / Spiritualism Supersedes Religion. {must Read} by ournaijablog(f): 9:24am On Apr 24, 2016
While I have never been religious, spiritualism has always been my forte. Religion never got me closer to God, but when I became more spiritual and saw God in the awesome light he was meant to be seen {Unbiased, Non judgmental, loving, forgiving and accepting} I knew religion has twisted how God was meant to be seen, worshipped and loved.

God is awesome, God is Kind, he is the beginning and the end, the creator of the whole universe, the I am that I am, omnipotent, omnipresence, the light that lights up the world, healer, protector, director, father, unchangeable changer, his yes is yes and is no is forever, he’s a chain breaker and who he has favored has been favored for life. I feel so good knowing I have encountered his love, miracle, protection and kindness over the years and here are some quotes to let you know or bring u closer to God and bask in his love and mercy.

Ecclesiastes 5:8 says, if thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of justice in a province and marvel not at the matter. For he that is higher than the highest regardeth, and there be higher than they. {Our God is a just God who fights for the oppressed}

Job 5:17 says behold, happy is the man who God correcteth: therefore despise not thou chastening of the Almighty. {we are his children and his love for us are unending}

Psalm 75:2 says, when I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly. {so many religions institution has made themselves, judge jury and executor but God has said he alone is the rightful judge and he will judge us righteously and accordingly}

Psalm 82:1 says God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth amongst the gods. {Unjust judgments rebuked}

Proverbs 15:1 says a soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievious words stir up anger. {Love has always been the answer to everything, religion should be about love but you go to churches and Mosque and you hear hate sermons that stir up violence}

Proverbs 15:7 says the lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not. {Most clergy men these days do not know what wisdom is.}

Religion speaks of sins and faults but spirituality encourages living in the presence and not to feel remorse for things which have already passed, lift your spirit and learn from your errors.

Religion threatens and terrifies, spirituality gives you inner peace.

Religion is not God, spirituality is infinite consciousness and all that is. It is God.

Religion inverts, spiritualism discovers.

Religion is based on humanity, an organization with rules. Spirituality is DIVINE and WITHOUT rules.

Religion is cause for diversion, spiritualism is cause for Union.

Religion feeds the Ego, spirituality makes you transcend.

Religion is dialectic, spirituality is logic.

Religion is fed fear, spirituality is fed confidence.

Religion is adoration, spirituality is meditation.

Religion believes in the eternal life, spirituality makes you conscious of all that is.

Religion gives you promises for the afterlife, spirituality gives you the light to find God in your inner self, in this life, in the present, in the here and the now.

All I want is peace and love and equality, religion shouldn’t be the basis of our soul and conscience it should be a guild to spiritualism but I am afraid that road is already filled with filth and dirt and violence. Be more spiritual than religious.

Romance / How Many Times Do You Forgive A Cheating Partner? by ournaijablog(f): 8:39am On Apr 23, 2016
Jide has been cheating on me for the whole eight years we have been together! she told me and I don’t think I can ever leave him. I have forgiven him several times, he feels remorseful each time and I can’t help but think he’s under a spell. I know each time he does it because he comes home to tell me “babe I’m sorry it’s happened again” he would say and I would cry and the next morning things would go back to normal.

We have been through thick and thin all the way from our university days, the first time he cheated on me I can remember vividly was with a girl we both met at the mall. He claimed he knew her from somewhere and insisted the girl gave him her number and I was right there, they ended up having sex together and well eight years later he’s been with different women.

Forgiving him the first time was the hardest, I cried, I wailed, I said how could he do this to me? But over the years it has gotten easy and easier, I have treated countless infections and endured many threats and embarrassment but I still love him and want him to be better; I believe he is ill and needs all the love, prayers and encouragement he can get. How many more times do I have to forgive him?

I said to her, you can only forgive a cheat “ONCE” when he or she is truly sorry. No one is above or beyond mistakes, sometimes things spiral out of control and we aren’t even aware until it’s over and then the remorse sets in, when a cheating partner comes to confess about his\her escapade and feels sorry yes you can forgive them that once as long as it doesn’t become a habit when it does then it’s time for you to walk away and never look back.

There are many pathological cheats who make it seem like they have no control over it and make it seem like a disease, please do flee away from these set of people, they do not only cheat on you physically they also rape you mentally and emotionally and drain you psychologically.
First let us get this out of the way, there’s absolutely no excuse for cheating. When your lover cheats on you it clearly shows that they do not respect you, value or care about your feelings but we know mistakes do happen, things that we have no control of over at the moment.
Forgiving them once doesn’t make you a fool or a weakling, to forgive someone who’s betrayed your trust and break your heart is actually one of the strongest thing to do, it shows your ability to move ahead and let certain things remain in the past but you only have to do this “ONCE” unless it becomes a habit.

Politics / I Haven't Heard The 'sai Baba' Change Mantra In A While. by ournaijablog(f): 7:03pm On Apr 22, 2016
So I haven’t heard the APC change mantra in a while, the Sai Baba rhythm that flooded my ears sometime last year. The oh; we will have a good and better government this time next year, let us remove the clueless one who was a weakling and didn’t know how to run a government.
In my area, we haven’t had light in weeks and fuel is still being sold for 200 naira per litre. The economy is like an ulcer patient who’s in pain day in and day out, companies are folding up, workers are being laid off and the labor union has gone ghost mode and the fight for corruption has skyrocketed out of space.

During campaign last year my mother and I had discussions outside our house about how things were going to get worse and how the corruption fighter was just like a child with sugar problem who keeps asking for candy and wants candy by all means, now he has candy and his body can’t handle the sugar. My mother hushed me saying Meh chie onu gi {close your mouth in igbo} you want people to hear us? Please let us go back inside I do not want to be killed! Oh how my heart broke is this what our democracy will turn to?

The bible said the devil comes but to kill, steal and destroy. I say to you the devil has come visiting in Nigeria and permanent visa is about to be granted to him. The cattle rearer with all his intent to fight corruption has surrounded himself with the most corrupt and vile politifcians Nigeria has ever known and will ever know {Obasanjo, Amechi, Rochas} just to name a few, these criminals are now all saints and have joined the ‘Chain’ wagon.

Many people have written on how dissatisfied and disappointed they are in this present government, will mine make any difference? I hope so. Under this government several human rights have been violated, killings and maiming has become the order of the day, political assassinations have become norms, election reruns well you all know the answer to that, witch hunts, they want to kill our freedom of speech, vile political arrests have been made, nowhere is safe the internet isn’t safe our calls are being listened to we are being watched everyday so we don’t speak against the supreme leader of Aso rock, the Fulani herdsmen are on rampage kidnapping, raping and killing anyone in their path and yet the Daura President has not lifted a finger to bring his brothers in arms to order.

Dear president bubu, I am just a voiceless youth and a suffering one at that I do not intend to insult but we have to call a spade a spade, where is Osibanjo the self acclaimed pastor who tried to sway the Christians his way we don’t hear much of him these days, while the president is globetrotting with tax payers money what have you been doing? I know your kids are very comfortable and they have light every day, eat three square meals and attend the best schools and when they graduate you will go directly to the CBN governor and ask him to place your kid in the highest position possible without an interview Oga president and vice please we need light, we need fuel, we need food, we are hungry, our parents have been laid off work even the ‘SUN’ is angry with Nigeria, this is badluck the sun has never been this hot please sir please step down please! If Sunday Oliseh can humble himself and resign from coaching our Nigerian players please to rule is not by force thanks.

A very concerned youth.

The symbolism of having a tattoo in Nigeria.

What has your tattoo been associated with? It’s different for everyone right? I have been asked are you a cultist? Why a dragon? No man will ever marry you, having a tattoo doesn’t make you look decent bla bla bla, the list goes on and on and on and on.

I have told people severally, a tattoo is a form of art which represents people’s feelings either at a particular time in their life, an experience they do not want to forget or how they want to be seen. People have drawn the faces of relatives, lost love one’s, present love one’s, their parents, sister’s, brother’s, and so on.

Image result for nigerians with tattoosImage result for nigerians with tattoosImage result for nigerians with tattoos

Tattooing has been practiced across the globe since at least Neolithic times, In Egypt the majority of tattoos were found on women, indicating status. They also used tattoos for healing, religion, and as a form of punishment.

Tattoos were probably also used in ancient medicine as part of the treatment of the patient. In 1898, Daniel Fouquet, a medical doctor of Cairo, wrote an article on "medical tattooing" practices in Ancient Egypt, in which he describes the tattooed markings on the female mummies found at the Deir el-Bahari site. He speculated that the tattoos and other scarifications observed on the bodies may have served a medicinal or therapeutic purpose.

In Nigeria having a tattoo has branded you an outcast; you are seen as indecent or irresponsible and shouldn’t be taken serious even though you IQ may be off the roof loll, how shallow can we be?. I read an article once about a Youngman who went for an interview and passed all stages because he had a tattoo he wasn’t offered the job, well now do you see my point?

Have we all heard about the Danish woman Anjan Ringgren Loven with tattoos all over her body? I am very sure we all have and ofcourse we know what she does and how much of a great woman she is Godbless her soul, her helping all those kids and doing other charitable works. Why has no one rejected help from her because she has tattoos all over her body? Why has no one rejected money or help from celebrities because they have tattoos all over their body? Like I said we are a hypocritical lot, if it doesn’t favor us we want no part in it. Once again a tattoo is a form of expressional art.

Do we not know as Africans that tattoo originated from Africa? And having a tattoo on your body has a symbolic meaning? I have seen tattoos on a body which quoted scriptures or poem, feelings and words which cannot be said but can be expressed through Arts, of course some people still disagree tattoos aren’t Art. Our ancestors had tattoos all over their body, they used tattoos to dignify class and status, Oh Africa! how have we forgotten our cultures and the basis of our traditions?.

In the west, early Britons used tattoos in ceremonies. The Danes, Norse, and Saxons tattooed family crests (a tradition still practiced today. Tattoos have always had an important role in ritual and tradition. In Borneo, women tattooed their symbols on their forearm indicating their particular skill. If a woman wore a symbol indicating she was a skilled weaver, her status as prime marriageable material was increased. Tattoos around the wrist and fingers were believed to ward away illness. Throughout history tattoos have signified membership in a clan or society. It has been believed that the wearer of an image calls the spirit of that image. The ferocity of a tiger would belong to the tattooed person. That tradition holds true today shown by the proliferation of images of tigers, snakes, and bird of prey.

I do not know if it is just a Nigerian mentality, but having a tattoo should not automatically tag you a wayward person, a scum of society, a reject, an infidel, or the last option on the human food chain. People have tattoos for different reasons, like I have stated earlier get to know someone before judging from afar, before you refuse them that job opportunity why not give them a trial, before you call that girl a prostitute because she has tattoos crested on her body have you gotten to know her personally, like I said in my article about Gayism Africans are really a hypocritical lot, they would rather hail a pretender, a criminal or rather a pedophile than someone who’s real and isn’t ashamed of who they are and what they represent.

I am Isabella Ibeji and I have tattoos on me, it is symbolic and wasn’t drawn because I got nothing else to do, it is a representation of how I feel and felt at the moment I had it and a personality I wanted to be associated with, if you feel disturbed and threatened by it then you are the one who’s got a problem.

There is a difference between looking good and dressing indecently. They are not the same thing.

Even if I as a man dresses in a way that sexually arouses a woman, and the woman feels the urge to have sex with me, she won't rape, because she knows she won't succeed. Men are generally more physically stronger than women. A man would move to rape a woman because he believes it's easy to physical overpower her and have his way with her. That's why there are more male perpetuated rape and sexual abuse cases where women are victims as opposed to the female perpetuated ones where men are victims, that's if there are even any.
hehehehehe so you haven't heard where a woman raped a man? ehn we know physically men are stronger but I have seen n heard women beat their husbands and boyfriends, you should know sexual abuse doesn't go one way
Romance / Re: OAP @Mayourspeaks's Opinion On Rape Sets Twitter On Fire by ournaijablog(f): 12:18pm On Mar 05, 2016
Decker:
When this kind of discussion is raised, a lot of people argue that a rapist would rape any woman, irrespective of how she dresses. But one thing these people fail to understand is that_nudity or dressing indecently, sexually arouses a man and intensifies his desire and drive to have sex.
If a sexual offender who isn't in the mood to have sex, sees a woman dress indecently, he is immediately flooded with the compulsion to have sex with her. And due to his lack of self control and his believe of being personally inadequate to get the quick permission to have sex with her normal way, he submits to forceful desecration and defilement of her body.

I am not justifying rape, but women should be cautious and endeavor to stay away from anything that can lead to harm being done to them.
You can't dress provocatively at night and walk alone on a lonely street and expect not to get sexually harassed or raped.
how many women have raped you for looking good? smiley
