The op sounds intelligent but how do supposed intelligent people date someone for weeks to months and not know they are married.i found this difficult to believe.
No matter how much the person tries to hide it, the mannerisms, character and daily routines and schedule will at one point not make sense to you.

Their roads and other infastructure are bad, their leaders are always insulted.
