Hi guys, please I am about applying for student visa and i wanted to ask some questions. I don't have IELTS and my TOEFL has expired January this year. I have proof of English Proficciency from my University, does anybody know if this document will be sufficient enough to make up for the lack of IELTS or TOEFL? Looking forward to your replies.

The proficiency should be ok, at least if that’s the language of instruction in your planned school? What cities are you looking at? And what school?

That's exactly 3weeks and 3 days. Wow that's super fast. This your shared testimony just increased my hope and rest of mind because I was given 27 August for AD and my enrollment deadline which require my valid visa page copy is 30 September and my school said they can't extend the deadline if need arise, that I should try to meet up with the deadline as rge case maybe. That as got me thinking since, I just put all into God's hands... I believe with God all things are possible. I need super speed too

When did you now send your BA confirmation since you didn't submitted it when you had your interview?

So booked around June and got Sept 4 initially because I put October as my visit date.

I cancelled and put august as my visit date, I got June 17th AD

AM came out July 11th.

Everything happened fast. Grace I must say.

Had my interview today 15/7/2019..

Slept at a friend's place in Ogudu. Local man woke up around 3:30am ,then it struck my mind that I need prayers.
4:30 am at Obalende already, I nearly lost OH because I thought all the cars that are heading to VI are following same route.. But I called someone up and she told me how to find my way to the Embassy. I was in a hurry to leave that Bus stop. Only God knows why they wake up early like that in Lagos.

My Interview, Had my interview @ Cubicle 3
VO was so much concerned about my undergraduate studies, if it is related to my master's. She asked me this 3/4 times.
VO : What is your full name.
VO: Your course.
VO: Have you been learning German at all.
VO: why this course.
VO: why Germany.
VO: why not USA, UK and other European countries.
VO: why not Nigeria, she even said this your course is not studied here in Nigeria oh.
VO: Date of birth on my passport.
VO: what's your CGPA and she said with that grade why your school didn't allow you to graduate with 2.1 now..
VO: is it MA or MSC.
VO: Facts about Germany, after I told her how Germany moved its capital 7 times and mentioned.
VO: Geographical Location of Germany, President's name, Chancellor's name and her Political party and the leaders of Bundesrat and Bundestag, Economy of Germany.
VO: Bachelor Thesis.
VO: Do you have anybody in Germany.
VO: Plan after studies.
Me and the VO joked that I will have to pay for her pen that I used.
She was so lively and cool. I noticed she was looking at me eyeball to eyeball to know if this Local man knows what he is saying. She checked the school website that I applied to but I don't have an idea what she was looking at there..

Done with my interview. Got there by 6am had an issue with a photocopy of my certificate. I did it inside the street or the embassy. I did 2 copies for 200naira, if I had gone outside then it would be about 2k I guess.

Paulinus let me back in. By 8:30

1) what’s my bachelors?
2) why isn’t it related to masters? Had to explain.
3) what I know about Germany? Points only
4)plans after studies
5) any German knowledge?
6 political system in Germany?
7) equivalent of Bundestag in Nigerian politics?


A lady was turned back today, she’s going for m bachelors and booked under A. Told her to book for B. ( not sure her class of degree)

General information.

I called the german embassy and the lady said category B is for 3rd class holders.

So if u are a B.Sc holder with at least 2.2, you should apply for category A.

Even though you are given admission in b.sc, u can apply for category A. Masters and Phd are only listed but it also includes b.sc provided u have a b.sc with at least 2.2.


Just a note to everyone waiting for category B appointment date.

This would be helpful to a lot of people.
