An Arik flight that was scheduled to leave Abuja to Lagos by 2pm yesterday kept being delayed until it was ready to leave by 9pm. When they were ready to go, the flight was overbooked. They sold more tickets than the number of seats that they have, leaving many passengers standing on the plane. In 2015, Arik Air! *sigh*!

But the aircraft hasn't left the airport as at the time of writing this report. Sokoto and Yola passengers went to block the aircraft from leaving because their flight that was supposed to leave for 9am that same day was canceled by 9pm. See more photos after the cut...

OP I doubt the credibility of this news even though I know Arik air is the worst local airline now followed by Aero and would never fly em again(dana air all the way). These pictures seem to have been taken while the passengers were disembarking. I don't see how an airline would take off while passengers are standing, that's against all known flight safety rules.

It sends real time data of accredited person's to d db: When he said d db is offline, probably they are not storing any data but @ d moment, this one is a real-time storage of accredited persons so that they will not be conflict of numbers with those that voted.

Real time storage still means, DB is online hence I can be verified anywhere I am. Why is this not so.

Nice pictorial illustration, great innovation. However, I still got some questions I need clarifications on.

1. Jega told us INEC's DB is offline hence his dismissal of any hacking accusation by the political parties, How come the card reader sends data to central server in illustration 5?
2. If it's possible that the card reader uses SIM cards, that means they are data comm capable and can communicate with their so called central server, how come I cant be accredited at any of.their polling units ?why do I have to.risk my life and travel to where I registered more than 2yrs ago to vote? Why can't Nigerians in the diaspora also vote?

Quite true, however there have been instances where even after project reviews, the project owner suddenly keeps changing requirements. I have worked in a business process automation unit of a bank where on each milestone review, a lot of new things are added or initial project flow altered. And some of em business guys ask the dumbest and most silly questions. If possible, they'd prefer that your app cooks them rice and bean while they just sleep on.

My brother, I agree with you hundred percent. I have never known any part of the south south where people are this hostile. I work with one of them oil coy and every now and then, these dimwits blow up pipelines and cause spills. Then go ahead to air it as an injustice and insensitivity of the coy. When eventually we want to do JIV/remediation, they'd rather that the spill escalated to more farm land than for you to fix it without settling the jobless youths.
