Oga lexusgs430, I think it is possible for someone on benefit to sponsor his spouse. This is the result of my finding on ukvi website. Lexusgs430: She does not earn, she is simply a freeloader, living her life at the expense of British taxpayers........
She CANNOT bring him over applying for a spousal visa, because she needs to be in active employment, earning £18,600 per annum (not sure if figure is still the same). ......
She can change her name, if she wants..... The person, remains the same, so does contents of her documentations........
She needs payslip of 6 months, bank statements etc etc
KEYWORD : SPONSOR NEEDS TO BE IN ACTIVE EMPLOYMENT..........
I think I deserve a slap...... Biko, where Bianca or Will .......

Can he sponsor himself ? Rubyventures: I think she needs to be working in order to bring him over. if she has been on benefit for a long time, its going to be difficult to give up. |

Please guys, am coming to the UK in the next 5 days from now. Is there any special requirement at the port of entry.
I also want to ask this on behalf of my younger brother who got married to a white woman(British) in Nigeria. He wants to process his spousal visa but his wife is on benefit and she earn a little above £20k from PIP and benefit. Though she has changed her surname on her passport, house document and bank name.
Can someone please advice on how to go about it and the necessary documents he will need.
Thanks |

Boss, shoot your shot and don't assume. Like I said earlier if you play your card well they will all get the visa. esdajo: Thanks for your response. But won't a recent visa denial from a Schengen country make it appear as though they are desperate or merely visa shopping? Wouldn't it be wise to wait a little before applying since they can't withhold such information when applying for a U.K visa? I really wish I could make this happen this Christmas. |

1. Yes, your family can apply and they don't need anybody to invite them just list resort centers you will like to visit. 2. The ECO won't think otherwise, they are after your money and strong ties back home. Response is based on personal experience. esdajo: Hello everyone,
So I got my visa 2 weeks ago but my initial travel date has long passed as I was supposed to travel in October but the passport was not returned on time. Now I'm thinking of spending the Chrtismas and New Year celebrations in the UK but I have some fears and/or concerns and they are as follows:
1. Can my family (partner and kids) apply for a UK visitor's visa for the purpose of going together with me for tourism, whilst attaching a copy of my passport data page and recent UK visitor's visa? Or MUST they be invited by someone in the U.K before it would look credible?
2. Wouldn't the ECO think this is an afterthought or is there anything wrong with having a different plan along the line from the initial plan of going alone since the visa did not come out on time against the backdrop of my initial travel plans?
Gurus is the house should please advise if this is a wrong move or if I should go first on my own and apply for them later when I want to renew. Thanks in anticipation of your responses. |

Thanks and God bless Debbieeeeeee: Most airlines except for BA accepts for you to book on hold. You can also book with your travel agent , or book on wakanow / travelstart |

Thanks and God bless cerezo: Call BA on 07080601736, tell them you would want them to book a ticket for you. Also, tell him/her that you will like to pay in Naira through your bank (u can do this via GT Internet banking airline & travels menu). Usually, I search for the ticket myself before calling them. This way you would have an idea of the cost. They usually add $30 charge. For example if you see $890 when you search yourself, you probably would be told $920 when they assist you. Lastly, they will also tell you the cost in Naira (cbn rate conversion) and ask you to pay before the ticket expires. |
