what's the fate of those who gcc didn't invite for test or interview, whose gcc dashboards still read "application received " and whose total dashboards read unsuccessful application but received apology Mail from Total EP-NG-HRS?

Kindly Include someone like myself that is yet to even receive an apology mail.

Lol, i have dragged many nets administered by dragnet (Sarcastically speaking), literally i have written tons of dragnet tests, right from my undergraduate scholarship days down to recently. Trust me it never gets easier.

Dragnet questions aren't that tough per se, their testing method just has many factors that question their willingness to even give candidates a fair attempt at the chosen form of assessment.
Yes people still scale through, but then, everyone ain't super-fast or brainy. A lot of folks have potential and are employable, they can do much better than these tests.
Dragnet making these tests super tough to meet client specifications (The recruiting companies) is killing whatever little hope these folks have.
At the sight of dragnet in an assessment mail invite, some people now just lose hope even before the assessment itself.

1-The timing for these tests are crazy, before you even read some voluminous verbal questions, or use the uncommon shortcuts, your time is speed-breathing its last.

2-The calculation given to you needs more time than you're availed, sometimes a lot of candidates know how to attempt these questions, but for the speed and volume of calculation involved, you'd rather zap through and answer all questions than commit the little time to answering just a few you conveniently can solve under considerable timing.
In some cases you end up solving the question, getting an answer, only to hold onto your mouse for that one click, the system takes you to the next section #painful. (This usually happens towards the end of a particular section).

3- The Abstract reasoning is the most annoying part, the patterns are not easy to decipher within the little time frame given, or probably the sequence/patterns are too easy, we (candidates) are too busy looking above our noses.

The one that has to be addressed is the quality of image you're meant to decipher, the quality is something I would love them to take seriously. How can i figure out a pattern from tiny boxes with illegible tiny objects inside them, (i don't even have a medical optical condition, how much more an individual who suffers such) ?
KINDLY NOTICE ALL THREE SECTIONS DWELLED ON ONE MILESTONE; TIME.

I really do hope they see this and make improvements on their testing method.
If these reviews are adopted and considered in making improvements to Dragnets testing format, they'll gain more credibility and win the hearts of all major recruiting firms and candidates as well.


Ps: i am not saying Dragnet should sacrifice her standard of testing or make their tests easier, i am only pointing these facts out , leveraging on the downsides i experienced during their most recent tests; Exxon Mobil GT recruitment, NSE GT recruitment.

I could be wrong on my assertion and i am as well open to intelligent criticisms, but then i have said my bit, Politely.

If you call them, they will tell you they are still on process. That whether you are Successful or Not, you will definitely get a mail. It seems they are still on PH list. Besides @ OwlaRowl will 7 persons cover the whole Eastern Region?....

You have a point, all i can say is stay hopeful if you're yet to get a regret mail from HR.

This was in May 2019

Get qualified messed the recruitment up for some folks, They never contacted most folks after the mail from Rainoil, notifying applicants of a supposed mail for subsequent stages of the Graduate trainee recruitment.

When i noticed it was Get qualified handling the second phase of the recruitment process (Just like GCC in this case) I did a quick check on my existent profile with get qualified, created during my WEMA Bank graduate trainee recruitment application, i found it still active, also found the Rainoil recruitment on my job applications but no link to proceed with Rainoil's recruitment test.
I did a mail to Get qualified, copied the recruiter (Rainoil) but got no feedback. It got so bad, Rainoil took the recruitment contract from get qualified (after tons of complaint mails from applicants), but never resolved anything for us the affected applicants.

Painfully the recruitment process continued for the favoured few who weren't affected by Get qualified 's blunder.

Same position I applied for, did the GCC assessment online, Skype interview and some days back I got the invite to a structured physical interview at their office in VI next week.

Initially got the automated regret mail, then they sent the mail to disregard that regret mail with the interview invite.

Just thought to share.

I also applied for same role,got rejection mail few weeks back,but fortunately today I was sent a message from total E&P HRS group to please disregard the rejection mail that my application is still on going with them,den immediately I checked my portal,it asked me to reset my password,which I did and when I entered my profile(application status) it was showing application ended or so, I don't know if anybody here is on same boat with me or ani one with valid info on this scenerio..what's the meaning of and possible outcome

Stay expectant, you're supposed to get a feedback within two weeks of your test completion.
But first be sure its not a general status for all persons that did their tests within Aug 8th.

If by Monday next week you don't get your test score, i'd advise you send a compliant mail via the mail that invited you for the CBT.

Ps: I got mine in two days.
