This is an indictment too many for the Nigerian Educational System. It is a smack on our collective face(s). It is an endorsement of the negative tradgetory of the Nigerian education system. Unfortuantely, blacklisting of this nature often attracts similar undeserved blacklisting. You can be on the look out for other similar pejorative clamp-down. This is a very disturbing development that a sane goverment would have constitute a committee to critically considered. While we continued to deceived ourselves that everything is OK, the outside world has dimensioned us and find us wanted and deficient. Unequivocably, this singular act is enough for a government to be declare failed. Failed in meeting the aspiration of her citizens and failure to meet the expectation of its contemporary. When the education of a state began to failed, other variables catalystimically would tumbled. Gone are the days, when Nigerian graduates are global preferences, today, the reverse is the case. Nor only are we 2nd rated by way of training, the system has worsened the situation. This anomaly was ochestrated by our porous admission system (available for highest bidders), high student to lecturer ratio, in between are pockets of needless strike resulting in unpredictable academic time-table and decayed infrastructures. Thesame syllabi my great grand father used in 1960s are still been recycled today in our universities. One wonders what knowledge that could impact to anybody. It is now fashionable to buy rather than earn grades in our university. Study hard is only meant for the 'fools'. Its unbelievable, how as a country, with short sightedness have collectively mortgaged our future ALL for nothing. What in hloy heaven brought us to this shameful position? I sometimes wondered what future we are bequeating to our children with all this unfortunate but avoidable collective and national embarrassment? I hope the Federal Government, for once, would wake up and remedy this situation. |
Let us legalise arm carraige for ALL. |
May His Soul Rest In Peace. This is a collosal loss to the Nigerian athletic community and sport in general. Adieu |

I cant resist intelligent people. If you are pretty/handsome combined with some good brain, , you are my SPEC!!!!!! |
Without prejudice, I think EDO idigenes should urgently do something about their unquenchable thirst for travelling out of the country. The culture is so permeating that it is now a tribal glorification and a mark of societal acceptance once your ward is "abroad". As far back as 2001, i have friends (brillant chaps) who just abandoned studiesin the quest to travel by road to LIBYA with the hope of entering Europe, till today, their adventure is still work in progress. From the story, it appears EDO is worst hit meaning this is still the general norm in this part of the country. Unfortunately, these victims were caught up by the war hence their travail does not surprise predictable expectation in time of war. Afterall, in war time, what is normal is abnormal hence the various atrocities metted on them. Nonetheless, this does not extricate the NTC's army from comitting crime against humanity.whilst we also implore the Nigerian Government to timetously spring to action and evacuate all stranded citizens in Libya. But one thing is sure,at the end of the day, culpable parties would definitely be brought to book but people should learn to stay out of way of trouble. ofure!!! |
The account is partially true. The island is a precint to Ikoyi and VI hence it was to a large extent well planned but grossly overvalued. You could join me in my office if you care, only if you are my client though As for Victoria Island, it was tagged the most expensive slum and this could be corroborated by many factors take Saka JoJo for example, you wont believe you are in VI. The rich shall always be distinguished from the poor by the quality of thier life. Nothwithstanding the above, the value of good neighbourhood is unquantifiable. |
Belgium is no 1 on my list, located in Amuwo Odofin Mile 2 Estate. You dont spend money there but "plastic". It is equally an avenue to meet a lot of upward mobile guys. The food is not bad too, |
Dont worry, when the history of how Nigeria breaks shall be taken, the place of Sanusi Lamido shall be well documented as the man who forcefully implemented islamic banking that eventually divided the country. That man is a curse! Gaskya |

Please I just hope somebody will refer the thread to him! |
This is the dumbest proposal of all time. This can not survive in modern Nigeria. It is merit over zone. No no no, it wont work, sorry dear!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Bad in ALL ramifications. No justification Madam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Seun, are these facts confirmed? Remember, your humble begining , i will advise you dont dabble into pastor issue. It took you so long to bring this site to this level.Dont allow some under/overzealous posters to undo the wonderful work you have done so far. Church business is God's business.Like an enterpreneur,if the business is NOT well manage;the owner(God) have a way of dealing with the culprot(Pastor) Abeg,my broda, stay off pastor's contoversy. Leave God to judge all of them. Afterall,we are not there when these pastors claimed that God call them. Nobody can cheat God,Oh yes!!!!!!!!!!!! |
The young man is simply paying his generation unborn. But dont worry history has a way of dealing with people like him. What a shame!!!! |
Sincerely this is a no topic but cheer distraction. Some politicians that loss out of the power equation are only out to 'wipe-up' public sentiments for their selfish interests. Often times, individual occupation of offices in Nigeria,no matter how exotic , has always been to their personal aggradisement and amassment of wealth at the expense of majority. History is awash with political office holders that are not beneficial ,in any way, to their immediate family members not to mention thier towns or villages. It is high time we all look beyond zoning but rather at performance.Bleep Zoning that does not serve our comon good. Going forward, the new slogan should be merit before zoning! i dont care if ten kalabaris is ruling for all,all that matters is performance, and only performance matters!!!!!! |
Wise moves guys.May the good Lord have mercy on you and answer your prayers. |
[i]

As much as I hate crime, abhor killings and eschew from violence, I must say I am particularly happy at the killing of an Hausa man, who might probably be the only undergraduate in the Local Government he hails from, right in the heart of the south - west. Pray, what is newsworthy about it? What demands our pity? Are the best of southerners not been deliberately killed in the north? Are southern youth corpers not slaughtered at will like Fulani cattle to satisfy the killing urge of the northerners on a day to day basis? It disheartens me that he was only an innocent victim of the NURTW clashes, who cares not whether he is Hausa or not. Had it been he were deliberately killed by southerners, cognizant of the fact that he is a northerner, I would have popped champagne. Good riddance to a very bad rubbish. I strongly disagree with Buildozer and his quest for vengance. His opinion no doubt is not representative of majority of civiled Westerners. Two wrongs will never make a right. Reprisal killings would only continued fuel the amber of violence. This is a tragic and national loss. The government and relevant agencies should ensure that the violence is stopped immediately. |
Dont be in hurry to condemn this guy. There is more to this that meets the eyes. |
I will still continue as investment banker. Maybe ,IT as a back up. |
