Remember her brother-in-Law, Architect Nosirudeen Kekere-Ekun was a Commisioner in Lagos under MB Marwa and contested against Bola Tinubu in 1999 gubernatorial election in Lagos state. The family patriarch was nicknamed Kekere-Ekun ( meaning the younger Tiger in Yoruba language) |

mrvitalis: There are 6 zones in nigeria Igbos occupy one zone alone so when people say igbos they mean South East
South East produce most lawyers according to recent stats
If you think South East not producing CJN is not injustice then it's ok CJN is appointed based on seniority and not based on Tribes and Geo-political zones. Justices Katsina-Alu ,Idris Kutigi and Alfa Belgore are all from minority Tribes in the North-Central Geo-political zone, yet they became CJN. Overall, I think Southern lawyers first practice Law for years before joining the Judiciary, hence they clock retirement aga earlier so they don't serve long enough to reach the rank of CJN |

From 1960-2023: Nigeria generated around 3000MW. 2024: Nigeria is currently at 5000MW and if we reach 6000MW by Dec,2024 it is a great improvement. Pacesetter123: So who suppose to create the enabling environment for the manufacturing sector you are talking about? Is it an ordinary citizen or the government?
My brother, whether I am speaking out of ignorance..oo as you said or from the point of knowledge..oo,the bottom line is that,it is the government bad policies that has caused naira to lost value. If you like, you believe and if you don't like, leave it. Even one example that you set above as the cause of lost of value of naira is still as a result of bad governance and policy summersault by the government. So I still stand by what I said that it is government bad policies that made naira to lost value. You don't understand, the Naira was never a strong currency. What used to happened was the CBN using FOREX collected from the sales of crude oil to subsided the exchange rate. With time, CBN started reducing this subsidy on exchange rates since 1986, thus the exchange rates were always increasing from #5= $1 ,#21= $1 ,#200= $1 until the exchange rate was left open for market forces. As per enabling environment, there is no way accumulated problems since 1960 can suddenly be solved in 14 months of this administration. More Nigerians need to go into efficient productivities. |

What have you people in the ruling class or supporters of ruling class ever brought to the table as alternative solutions to our economy problems.
You said the exchange rate is #1500 to a dollar,is it not government bad policies that caused it? Was it the ordinary citizens that made naira to lost value completely?
The people cry, shouted, pleaded but government paid deaf ears to their plights. So what then do you expect the people do? Fold their alms and allow government get away with anything-goes policies? Or clap for government for bringing untold hardship to them? You spoke out of ignorance. The exchange rate is determined by what you produced for the rest of the world Vs what you consume from the rest of the world. You can't be a consumming Nation and still demanding that your currency should be strong. Show us one poor country with strong currency. Quest7777: Lets get this clear:
-Prophet Fufeyin manufactures soap, -sends the soap to NAFDAC for certification, -NAFDAC certifies the soap based on the listed ingredients, that it is safe for use by Nigerians, -Fufeyin prays over the soap and presumably impacts healing powers into the soap, -Fufeyin puts up the soap for sale, -Nigerians who believe Fufeyin has impacted healing powers into the soap buy the soap.
-VDM calls out Fufeyin as a Scammer -Fufeyin sues him to court for spoiling business for him, restraining him from further speaking against the miracle soap.
My opinion: *Nafdac only certified the soap as ordinary soap not as miracle soap so Nafdac has nothing to answer
*Court can not convict Fufeyin as a Scammer. I have never seen any pastor jailed on account of failed religious belief or prophecy. Also it will mean all these pastors who sell Olive Oil as Anointing Oil would have been convicted.
*VDM should be careful. He stands the risk of being convicted for Defamation, cyberbullying or some other criminal charges. NAFDAC certify products based on QUALITY, SAFETY and EFFICACY. You only consider ,one aspect of certification- SAFETY (which means the soap will not harm the users) but didn't consider the two other aspects. The Prophet is misleading people by advertising a soap as Miracle soap that can cure diseases/health conditions |

The protest should be peaceful unless the police and army decide to shoot unarmed protesters like they always do! If you have been following the ways certain people have been threatening people in Government and holding Spaces on Twitter and going by their antecedents and charged atmosphere, then you would playing to the gallery, if you think this planned protests would be peaceful. The Protests would be demanding for in change in Government and targeting people in Government, friends and relatives of key members of the APC.

The only time Tinubu left a political party for another one was when he and other leaders of the party decided to FORM another party - and that was from AD to AC, they later renamed AC to ACN to reflect national status and ACN to APC was a merger. Actually, it wasn't that Tinubu left any party but the Adebisi Akande led Faction of the AD was in court with the other AD Faction led by Mojisoluwa Akinfewa, which was been sponsored by Obasanjo and the PDP. The Akande led Faction resigned en mass from AD and re-registered their faction under a new name ,AC which was later renamed ACN, like you rightly said. |

It's obvious most of you supporting him are kids and very very uninformed. Gen-Z forming political analysts are easy to spot. Tinubu never changed party. Under Military Rule: SDP was proscribed in Nov,1993 when Gen Abacha overthrew the Government. 1999: Tinubu ,Osoba, Lam Adeshina, Adeniyi Adebayo and others were elected under the AD. 2003-2005: The Obasanjo led FG was using some people to cause division within the AD by fractionalizing it, with Sen Mojisoluwa Akinfewa declaring himself the party chairman which led to a protected legal battle without any headway such that the AD Faction led by Pa Adebisi Akande, resigned from AD to form ACD/ AC. 2007: With entrance of new powerbrokers into the AC led by Ex-Gov Bafarawa of Sokoto, a motion was moved to expand the name from Action Congress to Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) to reflect a national outlook. 2013: ACN, ANPP, CPC and a Faction of APGA merged together in 2013 to form the APC. |
