PoliticsRe: What If The Coastal Road Project Fails? by oyatz(m): 11:42pm On May 12, 2024
babasolution:
With the way certain sections of the country believe so much in this project despite its suspicious outlook.

What if the project turns out to be a white elephant project, or one that takes decades to finish like the LAGOS badagry after so much as been pumped into it.

What will those people say and do eventually?

Look the way Nigeria is being run is sick,at this rate, this nation will forever be crawling.

The most populous black nations and it's constituent tribes especially the major ones will be looked at as black fools.

There's so much to do with little funds yet there's so much waste.

Tinubu better deliver,he is carrying the legacy of the southwest on his shoulder as concerns Nigeria,he brought in Buhari who failed totally and embarrassingly.

If tinubu fails also not only will Nigeria be severely impaired but the southwest will loose all legitimacy and bragging rights.

There's no escaping this.

The southwest will be held responsible for Nigeria,if tinubu fails as they have held the most significant portion of nigerias leadership from 1979 Obasanjo, 1999 Obasanjo, yemi osibanjo VP,to TINUBU now, it's a path they willingly chose.
What happened to the holding of 'the North responsible for all the problems of Nigeria until May-29, 2023'?

No coastal road will ever be built and Tinubu will be booted out of Aso rOCK ASAP the opportunity arise.

All the State on the sea will build deep seaports and seapots.

As a matter of fact, every citizens of this country has the right to live anywhere in the country without harass or intimidation. This act most be condemned in entirety and further refrained forth with.

Like I said, if this entity called Nigeria is no longer ONE, they should do justice to it and let people go.

HE. Sanwo Olu and other governors should be very careful.

Let destitute, miscreants, beggars, area boys and homeless people be relocated to their States.

Representative in this sense mean they hire the same Lawyer, NOT elective representative.

Nigeria first had a semblance of representative democracy in 1947 with the establishment of the Legislative Council (LegCo) to advise the Colonial Governor.
PoliticsRe: Lagos State Belongs To The South West" Has Been Deported To Osun State by oyatz(m): 8:22am On May 07, 2024
Yes, Lagos State belong to the Southwest and i fully support tha action of LASG.

Let Osun Gov't cater for these people. They would be far better off if their State Gov't help them to engage in economic activities in their State where they would have home-based support rather than being stranded, homeless or becoming destitute in Lagos. Lagos can NOT be neat and organized if all struggling Nigerians relocate to Lagos while their State Gov't spend their allocations without investing enough in their people because people don't scrutinize governance in other States but focus all their attention on the FG and Lagos State.

Osun State take up the challenges and rehabilitate these guys. There are numerous untapped economic potentials in Osun State.

Divest from Lagos. Locate any town or village with access to sea outlet and buy properties. One day, infrastructures go reach there and the Lagos property market will go bust!

This building can only enter into the Biafra book of records when they (IPOB) finally get secede and have an independent country.

The empirically and historically known oldest building in Nigeria is the one built by Bishop Henry Townsend in Badagry.

Any other one is a trash, counterfeit, lie and distraction.

You don't even know History.

By 1758, the Europeans only trades with coastal communities. They lived on their ships whenever they visited and didn't trave hinterland because of Tropical diseases and hostilities of the local peoples who served as middlemen between the Hinterland and the European traders at the coast.

However, after the use of Quinine to treat malaria became widely available around 1870-1900, they started penetrating the hinterland.

Well, we all know Tinubu was a thieving failure during his governorship reign, thank God for Fashola and Ambode that gave Lagos a makeover.

Well I trust Governor sanwoOlu to renovate these schools.

Don't build again, just renovate.

The Obidients are

1) showing abandoned dilapidated classrooms portions of the schools that are no longer in use

2) old portions of the schools that were temporarily in use while new classroom blocks were being constructed.

The Escravos-Lagos gas pipeline was constructed in 1989, it start from Escravos in Delta State and End at Itoki Terminal, Lagos State

The problems with IPOB guys like you is that you are neither intelligent nor well informed but strongly believe in propaganda.

Where did this your imaginary gas pipelines from Imo State cross over River Niger on it's way to Lagos/ Ogun States?

The Escravos-Lagos Gas pipeline was constructed in 1989 which start from Escravos, Delta State supplying gas to the Warri Refinery, Delta Power plant, Ughelli, Egbin Thermal Station, Lagos, West African Lafarge Cement Company, Ogun State and the National Integrated Power Projects.

It has nothing to do with Imo State. It would be uneconomic to be transporting gas from Imo State across River Niger to about 1000km in Lagos when there are closer already existing alternative sources.

FACT CHECK....

Eko was founded by Binis... But later occupied and dominated by Yorubas till date.

EOD.
The Bini traveled for over 250km from Bini to Lagos Island to establish a Military camp on the Island.

Questions:

1) Who were their opponents ,for them to use the military against? They couldn't have left home to travel to far places to just set up a military camp to fight themselves.

The military was to subdue the local people in that place.

2) Does it make sense that the Awori people who have been living on all communities around the Island for centuries weren't aware of the existence of the Island and had to wait wait for the Binis to travel from over 200km to discover the Island?

3) There is a written record of the Portuguese visiting Lagos in 1472 ,about 70 years before Ashipa was appointed by the Oba of Bini as the Administrator/War leader of the Island.

Seriously, i dont really know how this will really affects electricity consumers in Ekiti state. However, my thinking is that the state will be able to monitor the pricing of electricity and have a say when these distribution companies are bringing outrageous bills which is not equivalent to the provided electricity supply.

However, with Governors forum congratulating him, this to me looks like another scheme to further exploit the generally population coz these people only know how to enrich themselves.

the governors be like.....

The Ekiti IPP I'd to provide 24/7 electricity to Government Secretariat, University, Teaching Hospital and power some Street light, it is not directly to the residents.

However, it would indirectly help the residents because the consumption by these agencies would no longer be from the power supplied from National Grid to Ekiti State, thereby freeing over 5MW to be shared for the Public
