Bro, this is not a war. We're all advising the OP to the best of our knowledge. While you had a genuine intention of helping the poster, your answer might not necessary be the best for him. I don't think there is a problem in that. We're all learning.

Hey 🀠

Even on the 221g form, it's clearly stated that you do not need to fill another DS160 form.

Hey 🀠

1. I know you will keep coming . You are following papers . You have not seen visa cases. Go and read my reply to him. I am an apprentice under an International Visa Attorney who handles US & Canada hardest (visas) teasers , aside of my own personal researches with years of experiences.

I already gave him my answer before you came with your essay.
It is not necessary to fill another form. The interview will be based on what he filed in his form. Most 221g interviews happen in a week. So why the need to fill another form?

All he needs is the evidence to back up his new status. We are not fault-finding but just make sure you give the right information. You must not have answers to every question asked on this thread. Also direct people to where they can get the right information if you do not know what to say.

Hey 🀠

*** Oga the Boss.

1. Most 221gs happens in a week that is what you know sir . Let me tell you another version that you can be placed on 221g up to 1 year .

2. On DS 160 rectification. Let's assume that the consular officer looked at his/her computer (during your interview) and he/she saw a possible issue flagged, eg suppose that it showed that your name and birthdate were the same as those of a known terrorist.

3. In the above scenario, the consular needs Administrative Processing to determine conclusively that you are not that person. If that department determines that the terrorist is currently in a maximum security prison then you are likely to be approved in a few days, otherwise, you will be placed on 221g indefinitely.

4. Before then, let's assume that you came to your senses and say wow ! I forgot to input my middle name in order to differentiate me from that know terrorist, will you sit down at home and be looking like Dundee on a case that can even get you arrested ? You have to rectify your DS 160 because in 221g your status update goes through your DS 160.

5. If you don't know how to do it ask me how is it possible . Don't come to me like my teacher. You can correct me in a polite way and i will come open if its an error. Its none of your business if i answer 1 million questions with essays. I am preparing myself for my future career .

You will lead many of these innocent people to visa refusal eventually. Why are you asking him to complicate things for himself? This is an application that has already been assessed, the VO only needed clarification on the existing application which is usually simple and straightforward. You are asking him to go and fill another DS 160 for a follow up interview. You don’t have to answer to every query. Honestly, you are complicating things for many unsuspecting applicants.

Hey 🀠

1. In 221g status . If you believe there is an error or discrepancy in the status of your DS-160 form, you can rectify it despite the fact you have done the bio metric .

2. You with @Flourishing247 does not know pass your kg levels in visa process.

3. Fault finders . You did not have any opinions to give the OP initially but you usually have counter-opinions to prove your heavy weight experiences but you are old schools .

Please what advice do you have for someone with admission but with neither funding nor scholarship... A sister in the US is the sponsor with good account statement..

Hey 🀠

1. If you are applying for PhD don't proceed with the Visa process unless you can prove to the VO that you have absolute more than enough funds to cover your whole expenses even far beyond your graduating year because if you budgeted $60,000 for 5 years your PhD can last 10 years, Hence, funding is absolutely compulsory for PhD applicants.

2. If you are applying for Bsc or Msc funding or scholarships is not compulsory providing that you can prove availability of funds to cover your tuition and miscellaneous expenses all through your studentship In the USA.

Hey 🀠

1. Each 221g note has its own explanations for administrative processing, therefore your re-appointment or mode of re-appearance and demands is stated inside your 221g letter .

2. Therefore , no. It won't change your interview date. You won't be tampering with your interview date.

3. Be at rest, if your visa is a clear refusal they would have refused you immediately.

Lol..laughing at your last point πŸ˜‚.. but then, do you think a VO will grant a woman a B1/B2 visa having known her husband is in the US as F-1, and that it’s difficult that she’ll come back. And the reason I’m scared about the F-2 is that I already told them that I’m not married.

Hey 🀠

@Alakoriomo . Common don't behave like your moniker

1. Even if you are a USA citizen your wife may decide not to stay in America with you for the rest of her life. Therefore opting for B2 visiting is her choice . It's none of the business of the consular and ** There is no law , rule or policy that says PhD student dependents or family must come to the USA on F2 visas.

2. You already told the consular that you are not married and the consular expect you to remain unmarried for life ? Common , USA consulars , embassies and government expects changes in circumstances of human beings .

Hi People,

Please I need information. I recently got admission for my master's degree in the USA. Can I declare two sponsors? One is my parent and the other younger sibling. One resides in the UK and the financial proof will be foreign bank.

A response will be much appreciated.

Hey 🀠

1. Don't declare 2 sponsors . It would be confusing . Both of them are your blood relatives, therefore use the one with most financial capability. If the one with highest financial capability lives in a village in Nigeria pls use him/her, if it's the UK sibling then go ahead and use him/her .

2. You can use foreign financial evidences. The USA embassy can verify it in minutes.

Had my F-1 visa interview yesterday for my phd and I got it. Fully funded too. However, I told the consulate that I am single and not married and the VO probably wrote that down right there. However, the possibility of me getting married before I leave for the program is high. Won’t this be an issue for my woman if she starts appearing for a F-2 visa interview in few years to come by God grace?

Well, to add.. I saw family people getting denied yesterday. I don’t know their visa purpose but then going to an F-1 interview with your wife and kid look somehow

Hey 🀠

1. At least you are happy that you got the visa first . Someone who doesn't have a USA visa won't think about bringing in family or wife . Congratulations.

2. Your would-be wife will not have any issue joining you and she doesn't need to join you on F2 visa. She can join you via B2 visiting . Even if she joins you via F2 visa she will still need to change status before she can work because F2 visa is absolute dependent .

3. If i were you (as a smart Nigerian), i will plant a seed in her before traveling and by the time you are in the USA she would delivered . Now tell me the VO who won't allow your wife and kid to visit you ? It might not be in one appearance (depends on how you plan it) but your family will eventually join you. Let her join you on B2 visa later .

I hope you realise that his 221g to show up for an interview was issued based on this DS-160 and you want him to go and change it. Why can’t he get there and use his mouth to mention to the Visa officer these changes he stated here instead of complicating issues? If there was no 221g on that ds 160 then it’s good he can change whatever.
Please let’s be guided

Hey 🀠

**@Debbieeeeeee

1. 221g form is an information request form. It's like given you a JAMB expo. The consular wants to issue you the visa but he or she needs little information or little documents from you. The reason for this is because consulars also note down visas they issued for review against bias or favouritism.

2. Therefore , the OP can fill a new ds 160 and update the same. The VO would be automatically forced to refer to it the moment the OP updated the new ds 160 in his portal . This is a consular who can actually deny you outrightly but he or she wants you to make just little move .

Good morning Gurus, so I applied for IW in Feb which I was refused but was scheduled for follow up interview
My interview comes up in April 26, my initial plan was to go last month for 2 weeks break, My circumstance has changed as I got promoted last month too with increased salary and also time to travel has changed too

Can I fill another DS160 to update my status before the date or I’m not allowed to change anything?
Thanks

Hey 🀠

1. Do you want to be refused permanently via negligence ? Choose between filling another DS 160 form for 2 hours and having your visa permanently refused ?

2. Go and fill another DS 160 and input those changes including your new salary as well as your new travel itinerary. After that update your DS 160 via your profile and re-login to print out a new appointment letter after 3 days.

3. On the day of your interview . Take note. You don't tell or answer the questions that a consular officer did not ask you. If you do that it means you have memorized what you wanted to say or you want to trick the consular via talking . You can only stylishly do that in a related way.

Thanks so much and @MrSoftlife

1. I’m not planning on going with them immediately, they’ll need to come at a later date as my wife is working and currently running her MBA here in Nigeria.

2. Your suggestions were the original plan till 2 of my mentors who contributed immensely in this journey raised the issue of going together citing what they went through before their wives could join them.

I would appreciate if we can connect personally via DMs and if there’s a way I can run my story because it will hurt my wife to think she jeopardize my chance if it didnt work hence my post here

Hey 🀠

1. Those 2 of your mentors are not the consulars who will issue your family visas. They have being mentoring you does not mean that they are gods who cannot make mistakes . They are advising you out of hastiness . They went through hell before their wives could join them but their wives eventually joined them. Right ? They guided and focus on their own visas by applying individually but they want you to apply with your family right away.

2. Even if you have full fundings that covers your family expenses , your F1 and F2 visas are not automatic and you have not won a visa lottery. Outstanding applicants of your kind are coming to the same University from Ghana, South Africa, Australia, UK, Netherlands etc, and the consulars have these records. There is an adage that says give a thief a long rope and he will hang himself . The fundings you have secured applies to all nations.

3. Going immediately with your family is seen as distractions. Consular officer sees you (phd applicant) as a potential permanent resident or even an American citizen whose family/spouse will eventually join at a later time. PhD students have the highest drop-out rates of all academic levels and that program you taught won't last more than 4 years can take 10 years .

4. Ipso facto, consulars sees your (unnecessary F2) dependents as a distractions against bagging your doctorate degree (either your funds covers them or not). Another point is that on the day of your interview or before the day of your interview , 5 qualified applicants might have gone for the same visa on the same school and in the same department . Visas has to be rations . All qualified applicants cannot secure same visas in the same session/year.

5. If however you are hell-bent in applying together with your family as a result of your spouse pressure (based on happiness and eagerness to be with you in America) , well it is still very possible . I m not knocking out the possibility 100%. But your calculation and home work is beyond " Hey go ahead you have a full fundings " Hey you have a good profile go and have your visas with your family .

Hey 🀠

1. Yes . Fill another DS 160 and after final submission you have to update it in your cgi profile and re-print your appointment letter in order to display the confirmation number of the new updated DS 160.

2. The documents you will be taking to the embassy depends on what you are going for. Nobody can tell you that except he or she knows what you are visiting the USA for.

Hello! Please I need your input on this.

I run a serviced based business/career in Nigeria as a practicing studio artist (painting), while I show with galleries across the world. I have been in this career for 7 years running. I have my permanent studio as well.

However, I don't have a background degree in Art (BA - History), and one of the reason for putting in for MFA is to have a formal education in Art so as to advance my career.

I have a full funding for my MFA in painting.

What's is the best way to show home ties? I am not married btw.

Hey 🀠

1. Your main family in Nigeria , permanent studio, and previous art works (exhibition) are your ties .

2. You do not have a background degree in Art but you possess the skill while your career is progressing, hence, your reason for putting in for MFA in which you even came out with outstanding result (full funding).

3. If i am the vo, you have won my heart already even if you are unable to prove much ties to your home country .

4 But before i issue your F1 visa, I will verify your previous works (via your DS 160 details , LinkedIn, physical art works evidences etc) because i will personally based your F1 visa on your Passion (post study plans) for your job, and the accreditation of that institution that issued your Form I 20 .

Hello house, please I need honest and critical input on this issue:

I have a fully funded PhD Admission into a R1 US School. I have a wife and 2 kids (2yrs and infant(few weeks))….is it advisable to apply together with them? What are the Pros and Cons??

I heard it’s almost impossible for F2 to secure visa if they went later and alone.

Hey 🀠

1. Follow @MrSoftlife 's advice . I support everything she stated.

2. By the way , you did not win Visa Lottery , why would you want to quickly go with your family ? F1 visa in all levels ( Bsc, Msc, Phd) are usually being denied as a result of inability to prove ties as well as inability to prove availability of funds. Why do you want to quickly go with your greatest tie ( your wife and kids) ?

3. If you secure this F1 visa as a PhD applicant , then you are on your way to becoming a permanent resident in the USA (all through citizenship if you desire to do so) , now let anyone come out to say that the USA vos won't give your nuclear family visas to come and join or visit you after some years . Impatient is what i am deducing here .

4. Quoting @MrSoftlife again. If you however desire to go with your family at a go it is still very possible and it has happened before , but i personally will focus on getting myself in America first . I know my family will certainly join me no matter how long.

Hey 🀠

1. If you have the money go and pay your SEVIS fee right away . Otherwise, every other thing is a gamble . SEVIS fee is payable (indirectly) to the USA government. That is part of where they accrue funds in funding International Students Scholarships (Fulbright) and others.

2. You may attach your MRV and Bio-Data page of your Form I 20 to request your F1 emergency appointment but i think SEVIS payment receipt/evidence is required.

1.) Yes, my MBA is stem designated. I also believe my position and career path is very much in line with the MBA degree/program.

2.) This is why I want to maintain a consistent story from my DS-160 to my I-20 financial declaration and my visa interview. I’ve been in this position for over 5years, and the funds is from my personal savings (salary, bonuses, liquidated assets, etc)

3.) Yes, I do have a manager who will continue to manage the business when I’m away, and I will still continue to earn income/salary.
Using my parent as the full sponsor poses some worry, because i read a transcript here where someone who has been working for 8years was denied after using his parents as full sponsor, because the VO expected that at that stage of his life, he personally should be able to show substantial financial contribution to his post graduate study.

Saying that I’ve been leading a company/business for years whilst earning income, but I cannot contribute to my post graduate studies and then shouldering the full responsibility on my parents might be contradicting.

At the end of the day, I’m just looking for the best story/approach that would be convincing and make sense to the VO. So I appreciate your insights.

4.) I have already visited over 12 countries (UK, France, Italy,UAE, etc) in the last 2yrs for business and personal reasons and never had any reason to apply to the US until now.

Hey 🀠

1. You seem to know what you are doing by defending some points i have raised . However , USA visa is not about motivational talk and meaningless grammar.

2. Your case is different , someone worked for 8 years , probably a married applicant with kids using his parents as sponsor is a fool. I will always recommend people to use their employers as sponsors. You are just 26, perhaps never married and i can tackle you as a consular that you re supposed to be aiming for your Msc while focusing on expanding your businesses in Nigeria . Besides , you can do your STEM MBA in one of those countries you have visited .

3. Having businesses in Nigeria is not a good tie . Many multi-business owners have had their USA visas rejected. You may decide to use the rest of your life time in the USA while your businesses will keep running in Nigeria, and having visited 12 countries doesn't freak the USA embassies any more .

4. Let us stop here . I am here to point out possible loopholes to you in order to prepare yourself well. But don't listen to your profile is good ego, you are not the CEO of Cadbury.

Hey 🀠

1. You, and your wife after spending money and longer application process eventually achieved a feat with her PhD with funding admission at Florida University. I hope you guys don't flop her F1 visa with miscalculation.

2. PhD applicants are potential resources to the USA (as well as other nations) therefore, their F1 visa should naturally be 85% sure but many PhD applicants have ruined their chances as a result of their negligences .

3. Your wife's F1 visa success becomes shaky the moment the visa officers sight family dependents . Aside of babies and kids age 0 -6 all other family accompanying on F2 visas are seen as distractions.

4. Allow your wife to go with your daughter first . You have the best chances of visiting them even from this year Xmas from the UK. You have a good residence standing in the UK.

Greetings everyone.
I have been following this thread for a while now. I need your advice/contributions as I am about to fill my DS-160 and also fill my I-20 form.

I am 26 years old, I have a Bachelor’s in Engineering. I started my business immediately after my BSC and I have been running it for 5years now.

As the CEO/Founder, I intend to apply for an MBA to acquire business and managerial skills which I believe will take my business to the next level.

My plan initially was to Self sponsor and cover the deficit, firstly because I don’t think it’ll sound well to the VO that a CEO or business founder of 5years can’t at least fund his studies, so I believe this will also give me credibility since i can afford and also willing to invest that much in myself.
Secondly, I also want to avoid all the plenty questions about who is funding me and instead just speak for myself.

However, a friend told me that might not be a good approach because a VO will most likely believe a 26yr old in Nigeria has $40K to put away for studies, and therefore recommended that I combine it with family funds.

Before I proceed with my DS-160 and I-20, I would appreciate your advise on what to do, so I can have my stories straight and be consistent with it from my DS-160 to I-20 to visa interview.

Please what do you all advise?

Hey 🀠

1. Except you are applying to Stanford University, Harvard University, UC Berkeley, U Chigago etc, MBA is now a commonplace program of study in the USA , hence you have to have applied to top-rated school (s) for USA consulars to take you serious . Even MBA is now shifting towards STEM-MBA , therefore going for just MBA in America must have a 100% convincing reasons to the consular before considering your visa issuance.

2. Nigeria has many promising youths of your kind who are into one business or the other but dolling out $40k straight away for your MBA as a self-sponsored f1 applicant might not sound right to the consular. Don't you pay taxes on your business ? Don't you pay staffs ? Those VOs are wizard , some will not use their Google calculator before they tell you your yearly profits.

3. Okay. let's assume that everything you have narrated about you is genuine, then it would be reasonable to have a business manager (s) . I will recommend you use your parents as your over-all sponsor. However, It would be a fluke if you eventually get this visa because few things are not aligned well in your application.

4. You should have started with attending business conferences or seminars abroad .

Thank you. Very much.
I just hope I'm not denied visa. I have read a lot of rejects here. I hope this inter family discussion plan works out well. Paying almost 700k for 2 and being rejected is not a minor thing o.

Hey 🀠

1. My friend nobody works inside embassy here . I (especially) am just giving you opinions based on personal researches and experiences. If you are afraid of being rejected (a visa) then better not apply at all. Use your 700k to invest in a good business . Nigeria is endowed with good population (which is a solid background for business success).

2. The family discussion plan is my own idea, not a USA embassy policy. You can look out for other opinions .

Thanks for this.

I just need a some clarity on the following.

1. If we go for the inter family visa, will this serve our purpose as we have no intention of returning?

2. I missed out an important detail earlier. The lady he is married to is of a Nigerian decent. She was born in US. She has never been to Nigeria though. They met in UK.
Will this inter family awareness visa still work? Since we are all Nigerians?

2. If we want to wait for like 4 years for my brother to gain his grounds, what kind of visa are we going to be getting?

3. Can we get a job with any of the visas in questions 1 and 2 above?

Thanks

Hey 🀠

*** As @Opeyemi007 has corrected you, there is nothing like inter-family visa. Cool down and go back to re-read my opinion.

1. You came out straight with your intention of not returning back to Nigeria soon, hence i gave you the idea that your brother" s wife family (inlaws) in America can write a letter to you and your wife (as a representative of your own family) for a conference among the two families (inter-family discussion ) about their marriage .

2. In specific term, the Visa you and your wife would be applying for is B2 visiting visa and presently , you can look for jobs with the B2 visa .

3. Aside of the fact that the lady has not visited Nigeria before , she is also a real and bona-fide USA citizen by birth . Therefore , if you want to follow my plan then the lady''s family can invite your family over to the USA for mutual family discussion . It will work fine if you plan it well.

4. If you want to wait for like 4 years for your brother to gain ground very well in the USA that's fine, but you are still going to apply on the same B2 visiting visa . If before then your brother's wife give birth to a baby and you want to attend the naming ceremony in America, its still same B2 visa every or any of your family that is going will apply for.

All glory to God for meeting you here.

Please my brother got married to a US lady last year and moved to the US with her.

He is yet to get his complete papers. The only thing he has now is a working permit.

My question is this;
1. Can he invite me and my wife over, or must it be his wife who is a citizen?
2. Between my brother and his wife, who is the best person to invite us.
3. We are not planning to come back oh. At least not for now. What kind of visa would we be applying for?
4. We don't have any travel history, will this hinder us?

Please everyone is welcome to contribute. God bless u all

Hey 🀠

1. The best person that can invite you over is still your blood relative but its too early for him to invite you and your wife over because he just arrived and have not gotten his own foot settled on the USA ground .

2. However, the best gimmick for you to use is to let the family of the wife (your American inlaws) invite you and your wife ( as the representatives of the Nigeria families) officially to the USA on the basis of inter-family / cultural assimilation meetings.

3. Travel history does not matter in this case because you have been mandated /invited to attend an inter-family matter which if not attended to might collapsed a marriage (that's how you should make the letter looks like).

As a Nigerian who has completed my studies in Italy and secured employment, I am now seeking to further my education in the United States. Should I apply for my visa in Nigeria or from Italy? Kindly advise me.

Hey 🀠

1. As a Nigerian who has graduated from an Italian institution and secured employment (in Italy) with that certificate now makes you a Permanent / Legal resident.

2. The above narrative is sufficient enough to use as your Tie to Italy (if we assume that you v got no wife , properties , families etc in Italy).

3. Ipso facto, your main Tie right there in Italy is your job but you must have being working in that organisation for at least minimum of 3 years before you can use it as a JOB TIE ( If you want to apply from Italy) and attach it to your reason for further study in the USA.

4. If you want to apply from Nigeria, you are free to do so without even mentioning your job in Italy. You have a good record already , you went to Italy for study returned to your father land, therefore. the USA consular might believe your coming back story.

5. Ironically, you don't want to tell the USA consular that you left your job in Italy (you have established yourself in Italy already) and come to Nigeria for your F1 visa . You might say , Okay ! I came to check on my mum or wife or family and wanted to use the opportunity to attend the interview *** VO won't buy these reasons because visa process is a premeditated task.

6. Stick to One plan. Apply from Italy. Prove Italy Tie. OR Come to Nigeria and prove Nigeria Tie . ** You must prove returning back ties no matter which country you plan to choose.

Please, can SEVIS Fee be paid on my behalf by someone in the United Kingdom? If yes, can someone kindly provide a guide on the person can make this payment from the UK?

Has the the naira equivalent of the USA Visa fee been adjusted to reflect current realities by Guaranty Trust Bank?

Hey 🀠

1. Yes SEVIS fee can be paid from the UK but tell the person paying for you that he or she should look for a Western Union outlet ( ie, gas station, hypermarket, pharmaceutical store, bank, etc) that has "Bill Pay " (only WU outlet with Bill Pay facility can pay SEVIS fee).

2. Before the above , go to SEVIS website and fill your own payment coupon . You will copy your SEVIS ID (as reflected on your Form I 20) as well as your school SEVIS CODE on the coupon . Print it out or download it and forward to the person assisting you in the UK. The person must tender the payment coupon to the Western Union outlet to make the payment on your behalf.

3. Go to USA embassy website or GTB for your last question. Or someone might be able answer that.

Thanks for the feedback.
Should i fill another one and take it alongside with the previous one, or i should fill another one and update the CGI profile before heading for the interview? I need your guidance on this, i am sort of a novice.

Hey 🀠

1. Fill another one . Update it in your cgi profile and print another appointment letter 3 days after updating (the new ds 160) so that the new ds 160 confirmation number will reflect in your visa appointment letter . Destroy the old DS 160 and go with the new one .

Good Evening everyone!
I need your advise pertaining this situation. In the place of my educational requirement in the DS-160, I only filled in my undergraduate school details which i have submitted, i never knew my secondary school details would be required. is there any penalty to such mistake? i am vying for an F1. Anticipating your responses,
regards.

Hey 🀠

1. There is no penalty for it, but it can springboard a consular' s (who is undecided for few munites ) decision to deny your F1 visa by labelling you a Careless Student .

2. Henceforth , from your CV, and any major bio data or profile forms , be certain that your High School (Seconday) starts the listing of your academic profile .

3. Go and fill another DS -160 and start with your Seconday School .

Good evening

Please how do I get an appointment for B1/B2 in Abuja? Its been showing no appointment available since two weeks ago. I even tried Lagos. I need to attend a training in July, the problem is that the date was not stated on the invitation letter. Would I still be able to do emergency appointment?

Please help with any useful information you may have. Thank you.

Hey 🀠

1. Be careful with that (your) invitation letter ! No reasonable, valid and genuine training invitation letter will come from USA without a commencement and ending date. At worst, it must display a start date if the graduation / rounding off date is not certain

2. That aside . Your only life-line is to apply for an Emergency Appointment (under Business Emergency ) with your training invitation letter, evidence of payment for the training and hotel reservation (or accomodation evidence) .

3. You however need to be granted an initial interview appointment slot (be it 2025) in your cgi portal before you can initiate the emergency application.

Is it possible to pay SEVIS fee online? I couldn't find a way to pay it online, so I had someone in the U.S. visit a Western Union branch; but he was told that he couldn't pay it on my behalf, that I had to be physically present before they can process the payment.

This doesn't seem sensible. Could someone kindly explain how I can pay the fee, online if possible?

Hey 🀠

*** Your USA contact did not really want to do the stress , but he could not really pay it in that location and hence, he came up with the excuse .

1. Not all Western Union outlets in Europe, Australia, USA , and Canada can pay SEVIS fee.

2. Beg your friend again to go to Western Union outlet where they have " Bill Pay " So that they can pay with Western Union Quick Pay online .

3. You have to initiate the payment procedure by going to SEVIS website and fill the Payment Coupon which you will print out and scan (email) to your friend. Your friend will inturn print out your SEVIS Payment Coupon which he would tender at the payment location .

Between 6.3am and 10.30am, which time is the best? I can see that available slots are many (40) in the early morning times. And drops to 8 slots from 8.00am.

Hey 🀠

1. I would pray (as a religious person) for God's direction towards appropriate hours, munites, and seconds which would be favorable to my visa success .

2. Some would say visa officers would have been exhausted by noon but that's just a reasonable logic.

@OyoTunjiUSA

I will be attending a conference in October 2025. I want to book an appointment date, and I'm seeing dates from June 2025.

My question is this:
Should I choose a date that's two or three months before my expected date of travel? Or should I choose one month to the date or even a date in the same month of my travel?

Hey 🀠

1. The appropriate month to attend your visa interview would be August/ Early Sept. One or two months is okay to prepare for your travel.

2. You may however chose a date in October but give at least 2 weeks interval before the conference day.
