Very true. The federal govt controls ALL the security agencies in Nigeria. Constitutionally, a state governor doesn't even have power over a traffic police officer/yellow fever in Nigeria. A govt that has a policy of releasing captured terrorists is also culpable for a security breakdown.

This isn't different from what Yahoo guys are doing. Taking what isn't yours no matter the guise is equivalent to stealing, we have always known our govt to be composed of thieves so I'm not surprised

Peter Obi is a strong beneficiary of our very weak institutions just like Buhari and their likes. I won't forget the interview he had with Kadaria just before the last election where he openly agreed to have invested the people's money in his private businesses and made "money for the people and also himself"
This is corruption, unfortunately, evidence that can send people straight to jail in civilised societies don t do same in Nigeria but when civilised societies have succeeded in helping us to prosecute these criminals, federal govt and state govts will be arguing over the rightful owners of the loots

this is a lie, these people don t have conscience, they always have a verse from their religious book to back up evil deeds, their religious book also specifies blessings for evil deeds like this on "infidels". She won't stop, she will only continue in that line. It is somebody that has conscience that will feel bad but these people don t have even the smallest conscience in them.

When the president gave order for anybody with AK47 rifles to be shot, what came to my mind was that these terrorists are changing weapons from AK47 to other types of automatic rifles. This governor wants to empower his vigilatantes with pump-action guns instead of with AK47 rifles is doing what these terrorists may have already done and will always be protected because they are doing the will of the powers that be. My thoughts are gradually coming to reality.

U can't change a truth that it's time has come. This was a pure revelation from Gumi and in simple terms, this means that "Muslim soldiers will never kill terrorists, only non-moslem soldiers do". This is why terrorism keeps increasing because the islamic soldiers keep sabotaging the fight against the terrorists. This is simply why the president keeps placing Moslems in all sensitive security, judiciary and other top security positions, this is just to protect the terrorists because there is nothing different between what the president has been doing from what these terrorists have also been doing, which is pushing the Islamic agenda

When the people react because of the pain they have been going through, the govt will come out to condemn the people's reaction. Govt's failures are the reasons the people take laws into their hands 100% of the time. Like I will always say, dont wait until somebody kills u, learn to protect yourself, it is not unconstitutional to protect yourself.

What would it have taken u to hand him over to the security agencies at the next check point u spoke about Security is a must for everybody, we must always play our part at every given opportunity, that is what they do in saner climes.

"a chief security officer" that doesn't have power over any security agency in Nigeria? That "chief security officer" title is to justify the illegal security votes they steal. These security agencies were created to enforce laws, where there are no laws, they can't function effectively.

Pass it as a law if u are really serious with the order. I don't take governors that verbally give such orders serious when there are no laws backing them. They do this so that it won't look as if they are doing nothing about the killer herdsmen, such orders most times are unenforceable in courts.

No matter how social u are, there are people u shouldn't hang out with, there are places u shouldn't also enjoy yourself in if u don't want trouble. Quilox is fast becoming a hangout spot for miscreants, always one fight after another.
