is poultry road in Benin city? I only mentioned just a few I can vouch for, people in other areas are also attesting to his works. I know Obaseki didn t do much about job creation irrespective of the political lies but Oshiomole didn t also do much in that aspect.

I'm glad you mentioned "Reconstruction" meaning since four years obaseki didn't construct a single school in Edo state, you even added training of teachers to make the list longer.

Infrastructures:

The Edo buses you mention, it's not up to 10 in Edo state. During oshiomole era it was working around Benin. Obaseki just killed everything.

Edo production centre: I followed everything about that, he said he'll build over 5 of that around Edo state senatorial district, he only build one in Edo south and abandoned the rest.

I don't want to hear renovation as part of his achievement because it's shameful, I've never seen when kaduna, Kano or ebonyi governors are posting their achievement, they don't even mention renovation..

The cars he bought for Edo security outfit is no where to be found.

As for housing, emotan garden is abbadoned I've been to there myself, even though it was a joint private effort just like ossiomo power project, obaseki couldn't commissioned anyone in four good years.

which of the roads and schools that Oshiomole did were not "reconstructed ? Do u even know the meaning of new roads and schools? It means a road or school that has not existed before. How many governors have built new roads and schools in Nigeria? Are most of them not only renovating and reconstructing roads and other infrastructure? Please be truthful in analysing issues, it isn't politics all the time.

Yeye plus yeye equals yeye. Why not force them to give metres? No matter how much they increase it to, it won't be up to what we spend on generators everyday. Why not improve power and provide prepaid meters before u talk of increasing tariffs. As long as they keep on bringing estimated bills of what we didn't consume, we pay nepa officials for repairs, we replace damaged power accessories by our selves, there will always be problems.

1. Secretariat building completion and addition of new buildings to the civil service commission. The secretariat building was abandoned for almost 50yrs
2. Added new buildings to the state high court
3. Renovated and transformed the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium.
4. Partnered with private organisations in the ossiomo power project, a project targeted at increasing power supply to Edo state.
5.Built the Edo production centres to provide enabling environment for private businesses.
6. Construction of Edo central park is ongoing
7. Added new buses to the comrade buses/ ECTS
8. Abolishment of land speculators and the evil community development associations
9. Created and bought cars for the operation "wabaizigan" to improve security in the state, although this failed.

These are just a few I can remember for now. He isn't 100% but 65% is a pass mark. Let's give him another chance.

He is as expired as the person he is a spokesman for. His electoral value is just one vote, he has no followers and he can't even mobilise his family to toe the same voting line with him.

Please allow the man to rest in peace. He knew how to quell political tension but didn't quell it in his state. He allowed tension to deteriorate to the extent that his own party lost his state to the opposition.

When a crime fighter becomes enmeshed in crime with other criminals, there will always be a break down of security. Some members of the Nigerian security agencies are partners with these criminals and that is why crime is very difficult to fight in Nigeria.

Pakistan is not different from Nigeria. It doesnt surprise me since "quota system policy", tribalism, religious fanaticism are also practised there just like in Nigeria. Is this not coming too late? This should have been said long ago to prevent this present predicament. When two brothers fight to death, a stranger will inherit their properties. Now, Edo state has lost the party chairmanship to non-Edo all because of supremacy fight between two Edo brothers. Everybody knows how tensed Edo state is now due to the fight between these two Edo brothers. When there is a state like this, in an election year, lives will always be lost and properties destroyed.

During Gej's administration, we had about three "presidents" even though Gej was the figurehead. This wasn't what Nigerians like us wanted, we wanted somebody that will be in charge and act as being in charge. We voted PMB because we thought as a retired army General, he will display that characteristic of somebody, who was "in charge". Unfortunately, Nigeria now have many "presidents" who weren't voted for, just like in Gej's administration. It is even worse now cause unlike in Gej's time, We had about three, now We have far more than three. We don't even know the particular "president" who is dishing out commands sometimes. Also add that although he is a graduate of law, he has never worked anywhere else apart from govt. His business investments started after serving in one of the most corrupt administrations in Edo state.

There are people u need to get to some positions in life. You may not need them again after getting to that position because it is expected that u would have built your own structure by then. I can assure you with 100% conviction that PMB won't have won in 2015 without those people u mentioned. By 2019, PMB controlled all the institutions all over the country. His party controlled the money and he decides who gets what. By then, he didn't need those people again. This is unlike Tinubu. Tinubu can't control elrufai but PMB can. There are many others that Tinubu needs than that he can't even speak to.

Instead of Tinubu to unite all members, he is creating more and more enemies for himself. 2023 will be shocking to Tinubu, he will see the powerfulness of those people he thought were powerless. All his "allies" will bring out their true colours. This is Nigerian politics where white will not remain white forever or black remain black forever. Colours change as interests change.

The constitution says WAEC or its equivalent. He has the equivalent! Work experience! He has been governor. Automatically, he is qualified. The only thing is that he shouldn't have submitted that HSC alone. He should have regularised his NYSC. Even a mere letter to NYSC urging them to correct the typo error in his name, would do. Especially, when he has an acknowledgement copy from NYSC that his letter was received.
Personally, I treasure loyalty. I may not particularly like the way he fought Oshimhole. Simple reason is that he brought you. That loyalty is important. When many people are qualified for an office, yet you are foisted on the people as the best candidate forcefully, eventually when push turns to shove, will the same people you "rode on" to power support your ambition again?
He who pays the piper detects the tune. If you want to be your own man, and take your own decisions. Then sponsor your elections and say no to Godfathers. If you can get the people behind you, then its uhuru for you. But in Nigeria right now, that may be an uphill task.

that should have been the duty of the party or screening committee. The purpose of screening aspirants is to rectify any issues before it gets to the public or before the election. Under normal circumstances, the party should have told Obaseki to go and correct his name or if possible submit only waec certificate as a fulfilment of the constitution and leave out any higher qualification. PMB submitted only an affidavit as evidence. He had other military qualifications which he didn't add to avoid stories that touch. These are pre-election matters that every party should be able to correct but the party thought otherwise.

Everything the committee accused Obaseki of, Oshiomole was also guilty of during his first and Second elections but nobody disqualified him. He had issues with his name, he had Adams Aliyu Oshiomole in some credentials and Adams Aliu Oshiomole in others. He also had issues with his academic qualifications, some claimed he was just a certificateless tailor without even a primary school leaving certificate! But he was never disqualified even though his party wasn't the ruling party at the federal level. He was given an opportunity to use the instrumentality of the courts to defend and clear himself. PMB also had same issues. He had "Mohammed" in some cases and "Muhammadu" in others. There were also doubts about his academic qualifications but he was never disqualified based on these. This is what Oshiomole is denying Obaseki now, justice. It is very obvious, he is acting a preplanned agenda. The battle line has been drawn, we can only watch and see and enjoy ourselves with the movies that are about to play out and it won't be funny on the APC if they don't give equal opportunity to all aspirants , I can assure u that.

This is Nigeria, anything can happen. Even the devil can be packaged as an angel and funny enough, the people will forget all the atrocities the devil has committed and still accept him but will later start blaming others when the devil starts showing his real colours.

The two groups that can defeat bokoharam are: God through the use of natural disasters and diseases while the second will be the genuine involvement of foreign countries like America, Russia, Britain, France and Israel in the fight against Bokoharam. Nigerian govt can't defeat Bokoharam because they see it as business.

No matter what anybody says, one thing I know is that most of our leaders stole even more than Abacha. There is much focus on Abacha because he is dead. IBB's unaccounted for $12b, OBJ's untreacable $16B power spending and the rest are more than what Abacha stole. The school feeding programmes when pupils are on break, untraceable social investment programmes gulping billions in PMB's administration. We can't even talk about Gej and the missing oil billions.
