TravelRe: Cooking Stove Explodes On Train In Pakistan, Kills Over 70 (Pics) by oz4real83(m): 7:43pm On Oct 31, 2019
Capitalism has done too much harm than good to the society. Imagine travelling on a long journey without money for food even though food is sold on board. The poor are always been subjected to inhuman situations where they make wrong and risky decisions like cooking inside a train I even suspect will be over-crowded because of inability to buy food that is sold onboard. May their souls rest in peace.

PoliticsRe: Your comment about me unfair, Maina tells Justice Okon Abang by oz4real83(m): 4:50pm On Oct 30, 2019
PMB now has a CJN of his own design. I expected that by now Nigeria will have a court assigned solely to treat corruption cases with haste. It won't surprise me if this case drags on for ages. We are not serious with our fight against corruption. It shows with how we handle corrupt cases.
PoliticsRe: Warri, Kaduna Refineries To Be Repaired In 2020 by oz4real83(m):
The Nigerian govt, irrespective of political parties, knows how lucrative subsidy is and that's why they will never do anything meaningful to either build new refineries or repair old ones. The money they spend yearly on subsidy is enough to build new refineries. It is left for Nigerians to demand quality governance from their govt but unfortunately, most Nigerians are only brave and vocal on social media.
PoliticsRe: Presidency To Spend N66.6bn On Rent, N45bn To Fuel Generators by oz4real83(m): 8:01am On Oct 30, 2019
If your generator or other alternative sources of power are bad, go and repair them. If you don't have at all, go and buy. Even the federal govt doesn't believe power will improve. That's is the reason for the provision for generators in the budget. The govt doesn't have faith in their own ability to provide improved and stable power.
PoliticsRe: Chong Dinh Hue Asks APC To Allow Vietnam Import Rice Into Nigeria by oz4real83(m): 6:33am On Oct 30, 2019
Multiplier7:
That's why I kinda like Oshomole. He talks it the way it is. No pity about it.

Is high time all our Representative's in the helm of affairs to man up and do their duties without fear or favour. That temporal route the federal government wants to create for Ghanian goods to come into the country is unacceptable and must be condemned. There's also other countries also that are suffering from total loss too not only Ghanian traders.

Please Mr President should look into that. If he wants to do good, he should extend it to Cameroon, Niger, Benin Republic, Togo, Ghana, India and Thailand.

Then the equation will be balanced. But if you ask me, total closure is the best.

As for South Africa angry, Mr President should ban Apples and Wine too from being imported. It is for our own good too.

God bless Nigeria.
your opinion is correct but not totally. With respect to our African neighbours, Nigeria is not stopping trade with them. Nigeria is simply telling them to stop importing from other countries with the primary aim of smuggling them into Nigeria. At the end of the day, their local farmers will suffer. Every African country is free to export their locally produced goods to Nigeria. Not imported one.

MrRichmond:
y'all abuse English so much.

When op said "ultra-modern," I rushed in expecting to see a train utilizing magnetic levitation...

Africans and celebrating mediocrity... smh!

Anyway, half bread is better than none, I guess... undecided
will you pay at least N30,000 for a distance of Ibadan to Lagos for a magnetic levitation or electricity operated train?
PoliticsRe: Top 10 Richest Politicians In The World & Their Net Worth by oz4real83(m): 10:29am On Oct 29, 2019
No Nigerian or ex-Nigerian president is worth less than $5billion. They will always deny this because apart from govt, they can't defend any other source of income.

It is online that he has been kilked by us special forces this year. I just checked it again on new york times and other foreign media sources.

No, he has not been killed....I know someone that know about this, he is still alive and will be caught sooner than later. It hurts that US don't care about Boko Haram; maybe because its a black terrorist group they see them as inconsequential, and maybe because France have a special interest in the crises, maybe angry angry

Hamza Bin Laden has been killed few months ago. It was in the news if I'm not mistaken.

Same thing would have happened to Abubakar Shekau long ago but because he is a money-making machine and an instrument of propaganda for some people, they won't allow it but one day, he and his sponsors will meet a disgraceful end.

EducationRe: Prof. Lilian Salami In The Eye Of The Storm by oz4real83(m): 4:15pm On Oct 26, 2019
It is long tribalism entered appointments into Nigerian higher institutions. Check all south western higher institutions, yorubas are at the helm of affairs. All Nothern higher institutions, hausa/fulani and the same thing happens in south-eastern higher institutions. University of Benin is just imitating their counterparts in other regions, whether a person is qualified or not doesn't matter as long as indigeneship criterium is satisfied. This is why leadership in Nigeria and Nigerian higher institutions are at lowest ebb.

I have instructed him to go and tell them and that we need to see them taking actions. Else we will start seeing them as seller of stolen phone.
try and make photocopies of the receipt. That's the only proof you have against slot. Protect it with all your might. Slot may even deny if you can't present it. Infact laminate it grin
PhonesRe: Can Two Phones Have The Same IMEI Nunber? by oz4real83(m): 3:54pm On Oct 26, 2019
oloyedayo:
My concern is that won't he be harassed again with the phone still on him? Can slot take the case up for harassment of their customer?
Or should we put it up to slot that they sold a stolen phone to him?
except there is another complain of phone theft from the former "complainant", if there was any. Slot should also be involved in it but trust the normal Nigerian business people mentality of always withdrawing from everything and pushing the problems to the customers. I just pity op's brother the way he will be treated by npf when he was accousted. It is unimagineble. NPF doesn't know what is called "innocent until when convicted".
PoliticsRe: 2023 Igbo Presidency: We Need 2 South-East Governors, Senators To Defect To APC by oz4real83(m):
Already too late for that. Decamping to Apc will only swell the ranks of Apc. Many are of the opinion that south-east has contributed so little to the growth of Apc to deserve a presidential ticket. South east won't even get a vice presidential ticket though everybody deserves equal chances of getting to the office of the president. How many states in south-east are for Apc? How many Apc senators are from there? How do you think the decamping of a few will automatically change the status quo? Decamping now is a sign of desperation which many Apc politicians already knew, they will only laugh over it as a joke and turn to the other side. This is how the politics of Nigeria is played.
PhonesRe: Can Two Phones Have The Same IMEI Nunber? by oz4real83(m):
When the NPF is involved, how are we even sure they weren't trying to extort your brother if not that he had evidence of purchase? I don't trust the NPF. If two devices have the same imei, they won't work because they will be black-listed. Your imei is your real number, even without sim cards, it is possible to make calls, especially emergency calls with it. When you check the website imei.info, what particulars of phone does it display concerning the imei number of your brother's phone? If it displays particulars exactly of your brother's phone, then conclude that the NPF was only trying to extort him.
PoliticsRe: Impeached Kogi deputy Gov. “Elder” Simon Achuba forgets juju in Govt house (Pix) by oz4real83(m): 1:25pm On Oct 26, 2019
No Nigerian politician at any level of govt that doesn't use juju or charm. It only comes to public fore when intended for blackmail and disgrace. It is an established fact.
PoliticsRe: Tafawa Balewa Knew There Was Oil In North But Didn’t Explore It –former Minister by oz4real83(m): 8:15am On Oct 26, 2019
Ambassador Yerima Abdullahi doesn't know the meaning of a parasite. A parasite depends on its host for survival. Having oil in the north doesnot automatically change the fact. The oil from the north must be explored and contribute far more to the gdp more than what is coming from the south in order to change that fact. For now, any definition of parasitism the ambassador gives is a lie. He should also know that agriculture can give more than oil if properly managed. The world is gradually moving away from oil, Nigeria and by extension the north should not be left behind.
PoliticsRe: Russia Paid Off $20 Billion Debt Owed By African Nations by oz4real83(m): 4:54am On Oct 26, 2019
Russia has over the years always proven to be a reliable ally any country can have. They don't abandon their friends even when the rest of the world do so. Syria, North korea are typical examples. Unfortunately, Nigeria has always isolated herself from Russia due to her relationship with Britain. It is possible to benefit from every country in the world, even without being a friend to them. I am glad the Buhari govt visited and also trying to improve our relations with Russia. May God bless Nigeria.
BusinessRe: The Many Faces Of Bank Charges Paid By Nigerians by oz4real83(m): 4:32pm On Oct 25, 2019
In my opinion, it seems the govt has always connived with banks to defraud the country and its citizens. Most of these banks were given bail out funds some years ago which on a normal ground either transfers their ownerships to the govt or they pay interests to govt's purse. Unfortunately, it isn't so in this country. Apart from taxes banks pay to govt, there have never been any info available to the public about the bail-out funds. The govt through the cbn is a party to any illegal transaction banks do because banks must get approval from cbn before they carry out any transaction partaining to bank charges.

PropertiesRe: What Is The Estimated Cost Of This Floor Plan? by oz4real83(m): 11:10am On Oct 25, 2019
Depends on the topography of the land but on the average, a 4-coach dpc is okay on a flat surface and area not erosion-prone. I am not an engineer but I have done many of this kind of work with engineers. You can easily assign dimension to the plan. An average room is 12feet, depending on what you want while an average toilet is 5feet also depends on you. My rough estimate assuming the rooms are 12feet, toilets 4feet and total length 44feet shows that the living room is 16feet by 20feet. We are all here to learn. This is my rough estimate. It won't cost you more than N800,000 up to dpc both materials and labour.
SportsRe: Barcelona Squad Left Their Dressing Room Dirty After CL Win (Photos) by oz4real83(m): 7:45am On Oct 25, 2019
Japanese passport has so much value not so much because of their technological prowess but their people. I
Keep giving examples of their behavior during the last world cup and Asian tournaments, how their footballers and fans always stay behind after every game to tidy up their section of the stadium and dressing room. They were not forced to do it. It has become a culture to them to do the right thing wherever they are. That is class.
PoliticsRe: Governor Fintiri Nominates Adamu Atiku, 22 Others For Commissioner by oz4real83(m):
Politics in Nigeria is an investment. Some politicians will want to personally enjoy the returns to their political investments while others will direct the political returns to family members or friends and then act as godfathers to the beneficiaries. In this case, Atiku sees any appointment at the state level for himself too small. His next available option for such appointment is his son. Diverting such to other non-family members will be a big loss having invested so much in this present political dispensation.
