This is a state where Atiku said he has removed almost everybody from poverty during campaign . Unfortunately, PMB that is supposed to also rescue them seem not to give a damn. Atiku is flexing in Dubai while PMB is trotting the globe ![]() |
African countries are always soft targets for retaliation by terrorist groups. ISIL wants to show to the world that it is still strong and capable after the death of its leader. This is the time African countries should be watchful against terrorists who see them as soft targets, but unfortunately, it is always medicine after death. |

Corruption increased the moment our govt swapped peugeot 504 for toyota landcruisers, prados, sequiona, camrys and others, as official cars for top govt officials. The money the govts at different levels spend on purchase and servicing these cars is enough to build car plants in the country. |
Xisnin:compare the Mopha situation with this post. Did Efcc make any public announced inviting the public to tender evidence against Mopha as they are doing with hushpuppi and co now? Mopha never expected to be arrested on the day he came to the airport. The plan was already in place to pick him up whenever he steps into the country. He won't have had such expensive wristwatches and other jewelries on him. Efcc were discrete with Mopha and mopha had no chance unlike this issue of hushpuppi and co. Let there be less publicity with our security investigations so as not to scuttle it |
MicroBox:where is saraki's wife now? What did the Efcc do with the "intel"? Any "intel" that doesn't lead to efficient prosecution and conviction, will you call that one intel? She told the presiding judge that she came from a wealthy family and acquired the properties through her family and not her husband. The judge had to difficulty in throwing the case away. Try to dey use your brain ooo. Or is as micro is your moniker? |
Xisnin:if the arrested Mopha had info like this about himself, do you think he would have easily been arrested in a Nigerian airport? It would have involved interpol and extradiction and these are complex processes. With this info, do you think hushpuppi will even be coming to Nigeria soon? He will even be trying to cover all evidence against him. |
Xisnin:this isn't peculiar to efcc. We have seen cases where criminals were paraded before the media even when a search is still on for their accomplices. We have seen news media publishing the next move of the military. This is wrong. |
LordPsalm:you are as stu.pid as your comment. It shows how pained you are. For your info, I am not a sympathiser of any political party or individual. If Tinubu goes to jail, it won't add anything to my account or yours. I was only advising that our security agencies should be discrete with their investigations and avoid publicising their investigations so as not to scuttle it and you, as incomprehensible as you can be, decided to open your gutter to spew trash. Idiota |
This is why other civilised countries are always scared and skeptical about sharing intel with Nigeria. We put everything in the news and scuttle investigations. I expected Efcc to have been carrying out discrete investigations on suspected individuals even without any petition or public knowledge. Prosecution will start after gathering enough evidence. America investigates even the Potus without his knowledge. |
When you take drugs everytime, there will come a time conventional drugs won't work on you anymore. It is not everytime you are sick you take drugs. Paracetamol is very active on my body even when it doesn't on other people. That is because I don't build my body on drugs. I wish your friend well. |
Zanotee:not that. It is in the hands of the judges many of them having been compromised keep adjourning cases until it becomes meaningless and gets dismissed. No matter how smart a lawyer is, if a judge wants to expedite trial without adjournment, he will go ahead. |
One year is too small for all these convictions!!! They come out within a short time and either continue with crime or they start enjoying proceeds of their past crimes. The sentences we keep hearing are too lenient. Bode George got even less than a year for fraud ![]() |
GenBuhari:is it not a human being that put that info on google? It is on google doesn't mean it is correct. There are many wrong info outthere on the internet. |
I won't blame the Apc for this but the pdp. The pdp spent 16years out of the 20 years that were enmarked for the plan. What were their achievements during this period? Power has never exceeded 5000MW despite huge investments. No quality health, educational, transportation, manufacturing and other developmental infrastructure. No new refineries and even the old ones were moribound. No food security. All the developmental indices were at very low levels. Only the telecommunication sector saw some light. I hope the Apc won't also tell stories when this new development time elapses. May God bless Nigeria and all her citizens. |
Nobody is againt Ruga. The only bone of contention is that it should be done in states where the indigenes want it. I used the word "indigenes" instead of state govts because state governors may do what their parties want which may negate their people who will be direct victims of any bad policy. |
Nonsense conspiracy theory. If Britain created the African free trade agreement, how does it benefit them? Most of the smuggled goods are from China and other Asian countries. Make una no dey set this country on fire through wrong information ooo |
Snake woman 140 were too much naaa!! Not even goat meat, beef, poultry or even bushmeat. She can't kill any of them for Easter, Christmas, birthday, independence day, salah or American thanksgiving day celebrations. She died of lack of common sense |
Solsix:Otedola and adeleke children dey make noise ooooo!!! |
Wifred Zaha is not representing any European country. He still plays for Cote'voire. |
The last part of this post is exactly why I love the border closure so much but our govt should also put its house in order. All these companies keep running to neighbouring countries, produce goods there, employ their citizens and then export these goods to Nigeria. Why not force the citizens of the countries you produced your goods to consume your product? I know we have power, security and other challenges but some of these countries also have some of these challenges. We have seen Ghanaians protesting power outages although not as acute as our own. If Dangote can survive Nigerian business environment, then these companies can. |
Gandollar:continue to show your stupidity. I won't even bother to reply you anymore. Idiota |
MrFly:atiku, ogboru, jimmy agbaje, ken Imasuangbon they are perpetual contesters pmb used to be among them till he won. |
Gandollar:starting your comment with insult shows are immatured you are. To educate you, it is an established fact that most of these power asset buyers had no experience or capacity in any power sector prior to privatisation. They didn't even have the funds to invest into the sector. They took loans from banks and almost crippled our banking sector. I said in my statement that the govt should repurchase the assets and sell them to "genuinely qualified power asset managers". Is it a wrong comment? Is it enough to call my statement "childish"? Just keep quiet and read on next time if your only contribution to any meaningful discussion will be insult. |
allthingsgood:no light in my area for many months now in Benin city. We are the ones maintaining and servicing power assets inmy area. We even pay Bedc staff to do their work otherwise they won't. Power hasn't improve anywhere. Only those areas that were enjoying power before the privatisation are still the ones enjoying it post privatisation. |
Any public-owned business where the govt transform itself into private beneficiaries after privatising such business will not work. All the power assets were bought by both present and past govt officials and loyalists even though they weren't qualified to run them. These businesses don't answer to public regulations because they are above the law. Govt will need to re-purchase these assets and genuinely hand them over to qualified managers and focus only on regulation. |
Nonsense apology. Any apology anybody is forced to make is not an apology. Over 80% of Arsenal players don't have the arsenal spirit. Bunch of spineless and untalented greedy players whose only interest is high wages without a reciprocating contribution to the success of the club. |
Slimpotter:not completely. I only love the fact that it has a place for the masses unlike capitalism. Capitalism sees helping the masses as "charity" with the primary purpose of getting tax rebates from the govt but socialism doesn't. Dangote cannot help people for free. He cannot construct roads to help the people for free. He Must get a tax rebate for any of such "help". |
eTECTIV:poverty can cause anything. "Hot plates or electric cookers are on the ban list of almost all Nigerian universities but over 90% of students use them. Not because they want to, but because there are no other cheaper alternatives. Either use them, or you stay hungry. Poverty can make people ignore rules and regulations and even safety laws sometimes. There was food being sold on board but they couldn't afford it. I remember those days when travelling to Lagos and we get to Ore in Ondo state. When people are buying good food, I will only buy banana and groundnut. because that was what I could afford by then. We shouldn't blame them, blame this excessive capitalism that makes not even the slightest provisions for the less privileged. |
ednut1:maybe you haven't seen where keke collided with another keke . When humans are the drivers of anything, expect anything because humans make mistakes. |
