Depends on the topography of the land but on the average, a 4-coach dpc is okay on a flat surface and area not erosion-prone. I am not an engineer but I have done many of this kind of work with engineers. You can easily assign dimension to the plan. An average room is 12feet, depending on what you want while an average toilet is 5feet also depends on you. My rough estimate assuming the rooms are 12feet, toilets 4feet and total length 44feet shows that the living room is 16feet by 20feet. We are all here to learn. This is my rough estimate. It won't cost you more than N800,000 up to dpc both materials and labour. |
Japanese passport has so much value not so much because of their technological prowess but their people. I Keep giving examples of their behavior during the last world cup and Asian tournaments, how their footballers and fans always stay behind after every game to tidy up their section of the stadium and dressing room. They were not forced to do it. It has become a culture to them to do the right thing wherever they are. That is class. |
Politics in Nigeria is an investment. Some politicians will want to personally enjoy the returns to their political investments while others will direct the political returns to family members or friends and then act as godfathers to the beneficiaries. In this case, Atiku sees any appointment at the state level for himself too small. His next available option for such appointment is his son. Diverting such to other non-family members will be a big loss having invested so much in this present political dispensation. |
Even Abacha, a corrupt tyrant is yearly being remembered. It is really a good question to ask ooo. |
onward4life:Even explorer will be ashamed of you. I don't even think you read the story before your first comment. |
onward4life:very shameful and distasteful of you. You are more interested in ftc rather than the story in the post. For 39 humans to die like that anywhere in the world should be a cause for concern to a sane person. |
Spanish fulani ![]() |
Even to children and their own people, South Africans still exhibit wickedness. |
seniormallam:is there no tap there? Why would she use a jerrycan? |
Dividing Nigeria won't solve our problems. We are our own problems. The firstlady is not a fulani, yoruba or Edo. She is fully IGBO. We must learn to always make our people take responsibility for all their actions. |
He said he is "English-Australian" and ignored his birthplace. Nobody wants to associate with a failed state. May our story change for the better. |
VirginSearcher:"virginsearcher" with this kind of opinion, won't u pollute any virgin that comes your way with negative and weird opinions? |
You are comparing a country that has defeated hunger with another country where majority of its citizens don't have food and are willing to do anything to get the next meal. Canada has systems that work but Nigeria doesn't. |
The way I fear these black snakes and Vipers ehhhhhh Pythons don't create that amount of fear ooooo. Thank God for protecting the baby. |
I still love Nokia. Old love is difficult to kill . Durability and battery life are Nokia's strength but I just hope that with the pop-up camera, we won't start hearing complaints that "my camera doesn't pop up" just like the complaints of flex having issues those days. |
mapet:NPDC headquarters in OKO/Ogba road, Benin city. The construction was being carried out by BNL ltd. The project has been suspended for now due to disagreement between the construction company,BNL and the govt agencies NNPC/NPDC/. As at the time of suspension of that project early this year, the locals working on that project was less than 15. A relative of mine was part of the few until they were stopped early this year. I know what I am saying. |
Tranquilising that lion won't cost much. We always make news with shameful occurences in Nigeria. What is so difficult in tranquilizing an animal, though not in a cage but in fenced area |
Toni19:your statement shows u have no respect for your parents. That's why u can easily insult peoples parents. Idiota. |
mapet:no. Being a "Nigerian" is a better qualification. If we are talking about "local content", it means the local population should be given some advantage. NPDC took a large farmlands from indigenes without compensation. Isn't it injustice to give almost all jobs, not even specialised ones, to non-indigenes even when indigenes were willing to work? I witnessed a situation when an somebody brought a relative from south-east to become a cleaner, a job an indigene could have done. |
madenigga:stop playing the victim. I also mentioned yoruba and hausa/fulani. |
madenigga:I once worked on a federal govt project in Benin city, NPDC project to be precise. Non-indigenes/non-south-southerners made up over 80% of the workforce even when the indigenes were willing to work. They still allowed the project to go on but when it happens in other regions, all hell is let lose. Igbos won't allow non-indigenes, hausas/fulanis won't and yorubas won't also. But south-south will be assumed to belong to everybody, same way oil is treated. We must learn to use the same measure for everybody. What u don't allow for yourself, don't use for others. |
Don't be penny-wise and pound-foolish. Whatever sacrifice to make to enable the project's completion should be made. Don't lose on the altar of selfishness. |
After borrowing to pay the N50m for his release, his family will be shedding tears when listening to his fellow police officers on news media saying "no ransom was paid. He was rescued by our gallant men" . Meanwhile he is still thinking of how to repay the loan. |
Congrats |
Which God were u praying to? ![]() |
If Kogi state with just 3 strides with Yahaya Bello deserves re-election, why doesn't APC Chairman want Edo state 12 strides with Obaseki be re-elected? Different rules for different folks as long as personal interests are involved. |
seunmsg:the cost of concrete road is more than twice that of tar but it last more than twice the lifespan of asphalt roads. Flood doesn't also affect concrete roads unlike asphalt. The more the flood, the stronger the concrete road becomes. |
We have the resources but unfortunately, leadership and followership have always failed us. I added followership because a bad followership will beget a bad leadership. Every bad leader was once a bad follower. |
supercase1:how many states have u been to? It is the same across all states in Nigeria. |
Cellenero:funny enough, some so-called major news media will still copy and paste this rubbish from the blog exactly as it is. |
We are our greatest enemies in this country. What are the reasons for these outrageous increase in prices? Just because of increase in demand. Our people are wicked. |
