what about their farmer they produce largely for just Nigeria consumption.
their farmers should demand from their govt to stop the illegalities the Nigerian govt is complaining about so that they the farmers can have freedom to do their legal businesses. It is the farmers that suffer from their govt's indiscretion. Nigeria needs their food because we don't produce enough food no matter our govt's pretence. But we don't need the illegal arms and contrabands being smuggled.

Nigerian market constitutes about 25% of total African market as a result, you cannot downplay the strategic importance of Nigerian market to her proximate countries: Niger & Benin.
America is a large market for other countries but they keep sanctioning countries that don't play by their rules. Any country they sanction, do those countries stop doing businesses all because America sanctioned them? They seek other countries, whether legally or illegally to trade with. Check North korea, Iran, china, Russia, Turkey, they still do businesses despite sanctions.

Haba Bro... grin Fuel to 1K per litre and we won't complain because of stable light?? Then what happens to cars and pedestrians who will start paying more for Public transport as a result.... I don't know for u oO, but as for me and other Nigerians, we will surely shout and protest grin
I added transport to it. In most developed countries, a large population patronise public transportation even tbough they have cars. Public transports are affordable and they don't increase prices indiscriminately as in Nigeria even when fuel prices increase. There are mayors in America who use public transport because they feel they can't manage the cost of maintaining their personal cars. Nothing wrong with that.

but you said they should send it to Egypt rather than Nigeria. I'm asking if Egypt needs what they were giving Nigerians that Nigerians needed
I was only using Egypt as an example of countries in Africa who signed the free trade agreement. What some of these countries do to Nigeria under the guise of "elder brotheliness", they won't do it to other African countries. Foreign countries and companies are also taking advantage and copying from them. Imagine toyota going to set up a plant in Ghana when the market is in Nigeria. We must take a stand now. I never supported total free trade agreement. I wanted a partial agreement where Africans can trade with Africans only on goods manufactured in Africa, not imported ones as they are doing now.

our government should allow their tomatoes and other agricultural produce, except rice into the country
if you give people a yard, they will take a mile. Their govt should do the needful. Benin is the 5th or 6th largest importer of rice despite having a population of less than 10million people. These imports are smuggled into Nigeria to kill our economy. Their govt must make and enforce a commitment to stop this.
PoliticsRe: Fuel Scarcity Hits Katsina Borders, Litre Goes For N250 by oz4real83(m): 10:03am On Nov 17, 2019
All these are still traceable to leadership failure. If there is stable power supply and good public transport system, the effects of fuel price increase or scarcity won't be felt much. An alternative will be to board public transportation which is even cheaper if somebody can't afford fuel price increase. You won't even need generators to power homes and businesses if power is stable. These are reasons why Nigerians are so dependent on fuel- to power generator and for transportation. If govt can solve these two problems, even if govt increase fuel prices to N1,000 per litre, most Nigerians will not complain.

I really pity beninoise .....I don't pity ghana
don't pity them. Their farmers produce tomatoes and other produces. They can trade with Nigeria with these instead of importing substandard goods from asian countries to re-sell to Nigeria. They are pennywise poundfoolish.

do Egyptians need cassava grains to survive?
all these weapons they also smuggle through our borders, do we need them to survive? Are the illegal arms already in circulation not enough? Is it only cassava grains they smuggle? Our cassava grain is enough to sustain us. We are the largest producer of cassava in the whole wide world. We don't need smuggled cassava.

Most of the goods are substandard, better countries won't even let them bring the goods in..
exactly my point. Funny enough, it is Nigerians hiding under these disguises. It is also Nigerians pressuring these countries to demand border re-opening. These countries have already collected import duties from these importers. They won't lose anything if borders remain closed. Only importers who will be forced to sell their goods cheaply or continue pay to for warehousing that will lose.
PoliticsRe: Border Closure: Beninese Groan In Pains, Lament Loses by oz4real83(m): 9:27am On Nov 17, 2019
Since Nigeria has said " NO" in capital letters, can't these countries take their goods to other African countries? Is the African free trade not for all African countries? Egypt has an economy as big as that of Nigeria, they have large population, all these countries that keep taking advantage of Nigeria can take their goods there. Sambisa forest belongs to all Nigerians but not all Nigerians will want it as a gift even as large as it is.

Who send am? Even Jesus Christ himself was led by the holy Spirit to fast that long. When God leads you to fast or do anything, he will sustain you. Some of these men call and lead themselves. When you call and lead yourself, you only will sustain yourself. Very unfortunate news.
PoliticsRe: Constituency Projects: Senate Move For Total Control Of Project Management by oz4real83(m): 7:17am On Nov 17, 2019
This is another bill to protect their loot and cover their corrupt tendencies. They want to be judges in their own case. They are gradually deviating from legislating to executing and managing projects which are the core duties of the executive arm of govt. That is why they are also proposing the anti-social media bill which will make people keep quiet even in the midst of obvious corruption.

what is your comment about? Did n't you read where he said it isn't a must to belong to a political party before you can run for an election in Nigeria? Does Nigeria practise independent candidacy? Which part of the electoral laws say that without a party sponsoring u, u can run an election? The guy was getting it wrong and I was educating him.

If Ogbonnaya becomes APC's flag bearer (quite impossible though), then APC has lost already.
If Easterners couldn't vote for the late Ojukwu who is their warrior, who is Ogbonnaya.
an igboman has always been a candidate in the presidential elections since 1999 but they never get any votes from south east. Kingsley Moghalu was the latest example. I don't think he got up to a thousand votes from south east. Ezekwesili surrendered on time when she saw people that should be supporting her "Atikulating"

Mr democracy what have u really said in essence? South east this south east that, I thought we are in one Nigeria, y so much hate and division?an average igboman does not care where the president comes from so long as d dividend of leadership is extended to them, but because of so attention given to tribe by people like u from other tribes, igboman has started seeing leadership from tribal perceptions.
democracy is a game of numbers and alliances even in the "one Nigeria" you talked about. If you have a wrong alliance, you bear the consequences. South East is the only region which has over the years alligned almost fully with PDP. South west is divided along different parties. Same with North and South-south. Also know that south east keep making mistakes that keep affecting them. South east would have had the senate presidency in the last election only if they had voted for Chris Ngige but they refused. Nobody will force anybody to vote for a political party but the person must be willing to bear the consequences if his party of choice loses.

This is one of the reasons I have called for disintegration of shithole called Nigeria. Why should this moronic jackass pass as my compatriot? When did APC or being a member of APC become the final decider on who is a president of Nigeria? Has this dumbass ever voted for APGA for anything in his freaking lazy life?
even Ojukwu didn't get votes from his fellow south easterners. You don't understand politics. For your information, being a member of a political party is a criterion to run in an election in Nigeria. Nigeria for now doesnot practise independent candidacy. You must belong, be nominated and sponsored by a political party before you can be a candidate.
PoliticsRe: Charles Idahosa: Igbos Don’t Deserve Presidency In 2023, They Will Get VP Slot by oz4real83(m):
Even though you are saying the truth, most of them will still insult you. With the kind of politics we play in Nigeria, none of the major parties will offer South east presidential ticket. Even the vp slot is difficult because supposes the south west gets the presidential slot, the north won't want to be schemed out. The leadership of NASS may not even be enough to pacify the north. They will demand also the vp slot. South south will also want a share. Except the Igbos pick and adopt a party, obviously not APC or PDP and seriously mobilise all south east behind that candidate from south east, they won't win but it will be a step in the right direction towards future elections. Their past wrong choices keep haunting them and it isn't good for democracy.
PoliticsRe: Road To Douye Diri's Community Flooded by oz4real83(m): 1:23pm On Nov 16, 2019
One thing I know for sure is that PDP doesn't deserve to win an election in Bayelsa state, same way APC doesn't deserve to win in Kogi state. Osun state is another state APC never deserved winning while all south eastern states excluding Ebonyi and Anambra states are states where PDP doesn't deserve winning the smallest election. These parties have failed in all the states I mentioned.

Its actually 6Gig I do check my data usage consumption, and they give you exactly what you paid for.

And I'm talking about Airtel, can't speak for other ISP's

Some websites you visit are over 5MB, a website like YouTube will eat up somewhere around 6-10 MB on first visit, so be careful before you start accusing them of something you don't understand how it works.

meanwhile, I use over 12Gigabyte of data everyday, with multiple Airtel Sims, I download YouTube playlists.
do you know how much data consumed for a page you clicked on, started booting but never opens? Do u know how much data wasted for this? And it happens everytime.

Nigerian banks and telecoms have the same characteristics, even if you don't perform any transaction with your account, your account balance can turn to zero naira due to irrelevant withdrawals by banks in the name of bank charges. The only difference is that telecoms will want you to roll over your data to another month by re-subscribing. They are all bunch of thieves.
