CHARLOE:lol. ![]() Don't try to understand the mind of the religious fanatic. It defies all logic. |
sweetrace:so you are in support of setting a child on fire for voyeurism? Hmmm... This is one of those women that can kill another person's child for offending her. |
This is hard to believe. |
uzoma213:Ronaldo isn't bad luck, he is a great player. However, that stat is what it is. Just goes to show that there is no player that singlehandedly wins anything for his team. You might be the best player in your team, but sometimes your team might even do better without you. Zidane was their good luck charm though. |
Witlee:There is no single meaningful reason why Messi should leave Barca. He earns more than any other footballer, and the fans adore him. Ronaldo left because the Madrid management didn't think his football was worth the wage raise he wanted. You don't know football more than the Madrid executive, do you? Ronaldo that plays like 4 great games (all in the UCL) in a whole season of more than 50 games and then tells the world that he has been the best player in the last 20 years. Madrid saw through all that and said "No, you aren't worth it, go if you want to go", and he left. He later came out to say it's because he wanted more challenges. Yet he went to a club where they have been serial winners for years now ![]() |
Witlee:trophies are won by team effort. Teams are more successful when teammates can stand up and win games when their best players have an off day. Remember how Ronaldo was missing in this last UCL final? His teammates ensured they won anyway. In any case, Messi has won far more total trophies than Ronaldo who started playing football before him. The same Ronaldo that couldn't help his team win any trophy in 2015 before Zidane came to save their asses midway of 2016? In the 9 years that Ronaldo played in Spain, he was only the best player once. Griezmann was also awarded once. Guess who won all the others. When it comes to what they can do on the pitch, they aren't even mates. He'd need more than two eyes to even see open teammates and deliver pin-point defense-splitting passes the way Messi does. The same Messi that outscores him a lot. |
uzoma213:if you doubt the stat go check it up, Madrid consistently crashed out of the Copa del rey before the Semifinals in the last 5 years, and only qualified now that Ronaldo has gone. They also finished 17 points behind Barca in the league last season. |
Quorax:go take several seats behind, man. I am not among those who think women don't have much/anything to offer. |
otiwisdom:Messi just came off the bench after an injury and played like 30 mins. He isn't even fully fit. Before his injury, Messi had scored in all his games this year, and since October had not played a game in which he didn't score or assist. No other soul in the top 5 leagues had managed that feat this season. Messi has almost twice as many goals as Ronaldo has, twice as many assists. Ronaldo isn't even in the picture for key passes or chances created or dribbles... And Messi was out injured for 3 weeks earlier this season. Please they are not even mates. |
otiwisdom:without Ronaldo Juve had been making it to the semifinals of their domestic cup for 5 years in a row. Ronaldo joins, they get knocked out in the quarterfinals. With Ronaldo, Madrid couldn't make it to the semifinals of the Copa del Rey in 5 years. Ronaldo leaves, and they qualify for the semifinals. Do the math. |
Clapbackdon:lol. Go and check the goal and assists charts across the top 5 leagues in Europe. Then compare with last season, and then the seasons before ![]() Also, find out who was winning La liga best player while Ronaldo was still in Spain. Ronaldo only leads in penalties scored. In every other aspect, he's either struggling to catch up or not even in the picture. He isn't on Messi's level. Never was. |
Tallesty1:don't mind the demented hypocrite. |
Zizicardo:their governors refused to make them conducive for big businesses and foreign investment. |
Rotimi47:nonsense. So all the rubbish you posted proves that Buhari's government is not corrupt? People that are trying to influence everything from the media to the judiciary to ensure they remain in power. Keep deceiving yourself. |
The problem is that many people have this weird need for external validation and would go any length to try to impress and get it. |
Rotimi47:you mean like Ganduje that Buhari has already endorsed for second term? Keep deceiving yourselves that the senile old man is fighting corruption. This is probably the most corrupt government in Nigeria since Abacha. |
These people are so confident in their rigging mechanism they've set up. It would fail you! |
The popular phrases/questions 'men are dogs', 'all men cheat', 'why do men cheat?' aren't about promiscuous women, are they? You just want to be able to talk ill about men 24/7 with no one talking about women, like you ladies are angels. |
cococandy:do you follow random strangers to their hotel rooms? She didn't go to visit him as if they knew each other before, stop trying to twist the tale. They met elsewhere and she went back with him to his hotel room. |
Xisnin:nonsense. I asked why a girl would follow a RANDOM guy and one of your reasons is that maybe 'he was not a random guy'. That's unfortunate. A girl that is too drunk to give consent cannot actually FOLLOW a guy to his room. She would have to be TAKEN there. Taking someone where they don't want to go is kidnapping, and has nothing to do with my question. You are a girl and meet a random guy you have not met before but only seen on TV, you'd follow him to his hotel for him to introduce you to whom? His mother? His team mates? Or he wanted to drop stuff so they would head out. Head out to where? She cannot wait for him outside? Every big hotel has a lounge, and you can wait for someone there. You probably think girls are so stupid that they would be easily tricked into going to hotel rooms when they don't want to. They are not stupid, if an adult girl (that is not mentally retarded) chooses to follow a random guy she just met to his hotel room, she's aware of possibilities and doesn't mind the most probable ones |
Checked86:state one other reason why a girl would follow some random guy to his hotel room. |
They probably prefer having their loved ones bombed to pieces everyday, while the government pretends Boko Haram has been defeated. |
oluwaseyi000:and then burning them in everlasting fire for not worshipping him in appreciation |
Lol... Well, he does have a point. |
I hope Osinbajo can hear this. Today he'd keep quiet as someone claims Jesus had memory loss, just to rationalize Buhari's dementia. Tomorrow he'd still pretend he's a Christian. Give people enough money and they would rationalize anything. |
ollah2:true, everyone has a favoured position where they are at their best. I don't agree with the subtle insinuation that Iniesta was like Coutinho when moved out of position. Iniesta was moved around a lot by Rijkaard too, and he didn't do badly. Even in later years, he played on the left flank a few times when we needed it, and he had us covered. Mascherano played CB because of Pep preferred Busi in DM, Roberto has played RB more times than he has played in midfield for Barca. No one is saying don't have a preferred position, but if a player seems to lack motivation and drive just because he is played out of position, he's not ready to play in his preferred position either. |
chiefqueen:I see... You want to be able to put all men under one umbrella based on what some men say, but you don't want anyone to put all women under one umbrella based on what some women do. You don't know me but you are quick to include me and every other man in the anti-women group, yet you take offense that someone says women have nothing to offer. Your opinion has to be valid, but not his. Nice one ma'am. |
stag:exactly. It's what I tell people, never mind the single story that paints one gender as the face of love and affection. Your gender don't mean shit, and being a great mother doesn't even translate to being a good person. Many women love their kids and hate other people's kids. |
chiefqueen:if someone has to read your comment several times before getting your point, then maybe you could have communicated better. I only was curious as to why you'd bring 'true love' as a reason why someone who thinks women don't have much to offer in marriage, is wrong. If this 'true love' can exist outside and before marriage, how is it motivation for marriage? Never mind that I think 'true love' is just some fancy vague term that means whatever the speaker wants it to mean. It's the reason I'm asking your opinion. It's fine if you can't or don't want to answer. Thanks for bothering to reply at all, and have a good day. |
10Dove:well, true... It can be tough to play out of position, but then sometimes you need to be played out of position to discover your best (or next best) position. Messi's favored position as a forward was on the left, but Rijkaard played him on the right cos Ronaldinho who was then untouchable, was on the left. Messi went on to play well on the right and even excelled afterward as a false 9. See Roberto... Even Dembele have been played out of his preferred position too. I totally believe Coutinho is waaay better than what we are seeing. He's world class. That's why I'm upset the way he's wallowing in self pity. I don't want him sold, he should step up! |
calculator123:who do you have in mind? Call names. |
10Dove:I don't want to agree it's all down to Valverde. If Coutinho faced as much clout as Dembele did, he'd have put up a transfer request. Dembele faced brutal criticism from all corners, people didn't stand up for him like they are doing for Coutinho now. Even while he was earning Barca points, he was still slandered endlessly. Coutinho has been having it easy, and he's taking it easy. He has to improve and prove he deserves a position in the middle. |
