Under Jonathan, financial corruption was open and brazen BUT electoral corruption was discrete and tactical. Under Buhari, electoral corruption has become open and brazen BUT financial corruption is discrete and tactical.


They are both corrupt or at least corruption thrive under their watch.

However, u can't say $2B was stolen, you are no judge or jury.. If the courts said so, then yes it is... It could have been much more.. I believe it is much more, but u don't have the figure and its not declared so by the law. That $2B was majorly security votes that normally don't get probed. Equally Dashiki followed orders of the President, the president should be questioned not Dasuki except where he used it against the will of his master.

Talking of jail, there ain't no politician in Nigeria alive that shouldn't be in jail if things were right. Not even Buhari under whose watch, the highest debt per period was 'earned' and nothing to show for it.

You know what due process is man? They are processes enforced by the constitution, none of our president ever follow that, not even in history.. They just bend it at will. Sometimes the court enforces it, the current president even discard the judgement from courts.

For Telecommunication giants, the govt has only gone after MTN, just one.. Not giants. And even when they forced them to a fine, its the masses that suffers. Why do you think they went after MTN when all others were guilty of that sim registration era? I know you wouldn't know. Why do you think the AG instigates CBN to deal with MTN currently and why do you think he personally went after them for custom duties? Is he responsible for tax in the country? And finally asking them to pay to a bank in a foreign country and the bank fines to a different account from the norm.

Nothing but the truth. If not for the corruption that greeted Jonathan's government, it would have been rated probably the best Nigeria has ever got . He was so loved by God as everything fell in pleasant places for him, including a sudden surge in crude price, but he messed up, big time. 99% of the projects being commissioned by buhari administration are Jonathan's orchestrated projects. I remember edo, osun and ekiti states' elections in which ACN claimed their mandate via the tribunal. If it were during the apc era, the reverse would have been the case. This is change indeed. I just hope buhari would be willing to handover power if he loses next year's election, because hes a strong-headed man

Gurreilla warfare....asymetric warfare....is the most easy form of warfare to fight if your opponent outguns you and is stronger than you. Boko knows that if they fight the Nigerian army on the battlefield...they willlose,and lose heavily....and indeed they have. Far better to attack isolated Army posts, isolated schools like Chibok and Dapichi, and isolated villages.

Add the fact that Boko is motivated by ideology. You cannot beat ideology. Same with the Taliban.

This war is going to go on for decades....until Boko gets fed up or until someone gives up.

A crucial aspect of this fight is that the state a d local governments are not doing well by their people. They better start. Same thing in Afghanistan....where the corruption makes Nigerian corruption look like child's play.
