when God asked his disciples during the last supper "to do this in memory of Him" I know that most of u will see it as if he's telling his disciples to keep worshipping bread in his remembrance.... and in the wilderness when snakes were killing the Israelis I can remember vividly that same God told mosses to mould a huge snake so that anyone that got bitten by the snake can look at the molded snake and be saved...am sure that most of us would still see it that the Israelis did worship idol during that time but that isn't true...... that u look up to heaven when praying doesn't mean that u worship the clouds... it only makes u to be more concentrated.... man gets distracted easily but by looking at something makes us more focused.... if u guys say that Catholics worship images it would be the same thing for pagan to say that Christians worship the holy Bible or that Muslims worship Qu'ran

Enugu - The Academic Staff Union of
Universities (ASUU) has dissociated itself from
the planned resumption of academic activities
at the Enugu State University of Science and
Technology (ESUT) on November 18.
A statement from the Chairman of ASUU-
ESUT, Prof. Gab Agu, in Enugu on Sunday said
the union's attention was drawn to the
announcement by authorities that students
would resume academic activities on Monday.
“The academic staff of ESUT dissociates itself
from the above announcement.”
“While ASUU-ESUT mourns the demise of
Prof. Festus Iyayi, a former President of ASUU,
it awaits the directive of the NEC on the
ongoing strike,” it said.
Meanwhile, a condolence register has been
opened for the late Iyayi at the ASUU
secretariat at the Agbani campus of the
school.
Agu described the death as a big loss to the
union, the academia and the country in
general.
The ASUU-ESUT boss prayed God to grant the
family the fortitude to bear the loss.

olenyi: Just heard the announcement. The management of Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Enugu, just directed that all students are to report to campus tomorrow for the onward completion of the semester.

They said that exams would commence immediately and any student that fails to report will have him/herself to ASUU dissociates self from planned ESUT
