Mummy's little Rockstar was born today. She weighs 6 lbs 4. We are both doing well and my little girl had great lungs (perfect for when I take her swimming in 6 months time).

@beepearl: did you have the same ref number in your appointment/interview booking with your ds160 form?
Am trying to understand why they said you did one before the other because you must at least get the ref number from ds160 that you will then use to book an appointment.The DS160 form can be edited later after booking but the rule is that it must be submitted some days before your appointment(cant remeber the exact number of days now but its on the instructions section).

After your visa fee payment is the ds 160 confirmation number same as the one on your DS 160 form?that might help NLs to answer your question better.

I have a saved ds-160 form am already filling online but haven't submitted it yet. I used the same ds-160 number to book appointment.

hello beepearl03 I was also in your shoes and I had to pay another visa fees and i'm yet to get a close by date due to the fact that the next available appointment is quite far, but you might be lucky to get a date in between and that's what I have been doing.
You can call the embassy and reschedule after two working days because that was what I was told.

are you saying we are not supposed to book appointment first before submitting the ds-160 form? Pls when did Dis one start? I thought you can submit your form up till few hours before your interview as far as both appointment page and the form have same application number. See one chance ooo, pls I need more clarification as I ve booked appointment but haven't submitted form. Pls anybody with this info should answer me ooo

I think that's the thing they usually do, the same v.o that interviewed you previously can't interview you again,you have to be interviewed by another, I think someone once shared a transcript where he was going to be interviewed by the same v.o that refused him previously and he had to pass his documents to another v.o

you are very correct. It happened to me. The VO simply told me he can't interview me again since he was the one that refused me that another VO will review my case.

Yes 9k total. I got my normal $4k PTA from diamond bank and I ignorantly went to FCMB to collect another one lol ( didn't know much about PTA limit then) and was told they won't give me another cos I Hv $4k already but was told he can only give me $1k cos my hubby's account with them is entitled to $5k (dunno how, even though he didn't have visa) he gave me the $1k and I asked if he cud transfer to his dollar card and he said yes, dats how he transferred $4k into my hubby's dollar act/ card. Dats 4k + 1k + 4k =9k.

Update on my dollar hunt: for those who stay in Benin city, I was able to buy from fcmb @201.2 Naira to a dollar although they only agreed to give me 7000dollars (used my details and that of my husband). Please if unable to get more with my mum's details can I use first bank Dormicilliary card(has anyone heard of this?)gtb master card or fidelity visa or master card for pos transactions? Shey I won't be charged extra?

I think the domicilliary card should be fine. I haven't used that of first bank dou. Mine is FCMB dollar Mastercard and dat was the only card I traveled with and it served me well without extra charges on POS but they charge you small interest while loading the dollar into d card. I didn't withdraw cash dou.
