You are supposed to do your own checkup, you are supposed to be examined by a gyne too, I think PCV is done and gyne will check your tummy and all. Depending on hospital dou.

Is birth certificate not 7days after delivery?? That's what I was told in the hospital.

You don't have to wait for one week before going to collect your child's birth certificate. You had your baby in fort bend county , simply go to their website and check if baby's birth certificate is ready. Mine was ready in about 24hrs after submission and one week after then, it was already on its way to obtaining Naija visa from T anko.
You don't have to go with baby to collect birth cert. Hope you v booked appointment with passport office so you don't have to wait for long for a closer date. Anyways, end of August is still far.

The one that is almost causing fight between DH and I na sleepsuits. Any time I pick up long sleeve coverall he would start shouting ' babe naija is hot oooo, do you want my son to have heat rashes'. Even though iv tried to explain that its only for sleeping especially at night but im thinking, does the baby need to be covered from head to toe? The plan is to always have a mosquito net over his crib and AC regulated to suit his temp.

You need the overall especially during his early months no matter the kind of heat. You don't want to expose his skin directly to cold. You know sometimes at midnight, it gets really cold. As for me I buy overall infact I buy those ones made of fleece/ polyester cos baby sleeps with AC. I no wan hear say cold enter her body. She still sleeps with it up till 9months plus. If you won't be putting on AC for him, you can buy the cotton ones or maybe bodysuit and trouser with socks will do. Mosquito net is compulsory even if I just sprayed the rooms now now now
I no dey like go hospital or even go through the stress of forcing kids to take drugs so anything that will prompt any form of illness, I try to avoid it.
