It's been every 5 mins for the past 3 hours or more. Rang the doctor few minutes ago and she said I should wait till it's like 2/mins interval or if I see water, mucus plug or blood. But the pain no be here o, doesn't last up to 1 minute though. She wants each contraction to last at least 1 min and the interval 2/3 munutes before ringing back.

Pls start going to the hospital if your contractions are becoming strong, I no see mucus plug/show, no water before I went to hospital. even at almost 10cm, doctor said the contractions weren't lasting for long and wanted to augument and I still had my baby mins later.

MY BIRTH STORY

Got to the hospital by 8.35 and gave birth by 8.50am.Then began the race for pls we need pad, pampers bla bla bla and none was available
Hubby had to go to a baby shop and bought everything in the list afresh.

MORAL OF MY STORY- PACK YOUR BAGS ON TIME

this is a typical example of what we call supernatural delivery.

Pls Ocy i can like to return in 2weeks to o, as opposd to 28days i did last time. Pls i am stil confused bout this ETC thing. N can u buy a one way ticket for a baby with ETC, cos i remember they ask for a return ticket for baby if they dont sight the Nig pp.

Houston weather is still very warm and OK now but am sure it will change very soon. I didn't use ETC, got naija visa for dd.

. You just had your baby on 23rd. Anyway I believe you can get all documents asap but allow baby to be up to 2weeks if not more. I travelled at 2weeks and 2days. I had to run. No place like home

Thanks a lot favored gal... That $5,940 spurred me into action, cos my baby is just about a month old (but wait first, wetin dem do wey reach dat kin amount..??) shoo...!! Anywayz, i called them again and after searching their systems ova & ova, they didn't find any record/bills for my wife. The woman then asked if my wife took an epidural. I said No, that it was a normal delivery. She then said if an epidural wasn't administered there wouldn't be any bill from them. I told her that my wife took medication for the pain but she said that wasn't 4rm them. So i'm guessing i'm free there...... I hope they are no setting me up sha.. so I no go fit renew my visa again

See how you are pursuing bill lol, the pain killer is part of your package so I was told, I requested for the pain killer at d last minute but before they could bring it, my baby popped.

I bought my infant ticket on Monday from Naija, called their US office same day to book bassinet, travelled on Wednesday.

No,u wont buy a full seat for a baby. The bassinet is placed infront of the mother's seat,thats why mothers with infants that want to use the bassinet are assigned the bulkhead seats on the plane. You can see some pictures on google.

I know what a bassinet is and I ve used it severally. I want to know where she will put the travel bed she talked about.

I bought my ticket on travel start too. When they send you the booking reference, go to the website and input it and then choose ur seats. I bought emirates and I was able to choose my seats on their website. As for the bassinet seat, they said I can't choose dat until I include the infant ticket.hope this helps.

call the airline after you ve booked your babys ticket to request for bassinet. I bot my airfrance ticket tru travelstart, I was able to choose my seat online from abj to houston but while checking in for return leg, there was no option to choose seat.

Again it depends on the airline. I bought my baby's ticket in America and it cost me 67 dollars only.

Lucky you, some pple ain't that lucky. I called and dey gave me a quote of $609. I had to do the Naija route as I don't want to get to the airport and receive surprises. Am using Airfrance.
I think it also depends on the airline too.

I called and told them I wanted to pay my bill, I paid tru phone even though she said my bill has been mailed to me. I told her I can't wait for the mail to get to me as am traveling soon and have to get my zero balance as soon as possible.

Let me interrupt the debate once again. For oakbend peeps, while paying for brown and associates bill for mother and child, ask for discount. Even though the bill is usually small, less than $150 most times, der is discount for self pay. I was given $113.50 for mother and child bill but I asked for discount and ended up paying $67.50. Firsttymum I know this info will be so so useful to you grin

I just bought my infant ticket in Airfrance office in Abuja for #25140. I called their US office and before I could say jack, d lady booked the ticket for $609 for round trip and told me to pay when I get to d airport. After some days, I called them back to cancel the reservation which they did, den someone went to der abj office and bot the infant ticket for me Yippee!
In summary, thou MUST not buy infant ticket from US office, thou MUST send someone to buy from their naija office. grin
