Please help!! I have applied since last year December and till now I have only gotten a mail to send 3 months bank statement after the one I submitted in December, it’s been 3 months since I last submitted the second bank statement..this is my 3rd application oh!! Good travel history.. travelled to the USA 6 times, South Africa 5 times, Dubai 15 times, Doha 2 times, Brazil 1ce.. I have strong ties to my country such as landed properties and my business.. should I contact them.. also in my application there is an invitation letter from my friend with proofs that we just met in Qatar and spent quality time together.. what exactly do they want?? Edakun oh.. and it’s only for 2weeks before their winter period.. some people can’t adapt to that weather!!

I did not exit the airport and it was a stopover & layover for about 3-4 hrs., and same Air France flew me to Hamburg, Germany. Flew same Air France from Hamburg, Germany and stopped over/layover again @ CGD and got stamped out at same CDG and flew back to ABV with same Air France. YES! I applied for French Schengen business visa late last year for a proposed trip to Paris and it was issued within 3 weeks. I flew BA to Paris and returned.

Why were you stamped in at CDG? YES. Did you leave the airport? NO. Because you’ll only be referred to immigration at the point of exiting the airport or before you get your luggage. If it was a stopover, you have no business getting stamped in. Am I wrong?. you are wrong.


Also, have you tried to apply for a Schengen visa after this trip to German? Yes. How was it? Cool. Were you granted the visa? Yep!

I got a 3 month multiple entry German Schengen visa-First ever Schengen visa application and was granted, destination was Germany, I could not get any flight directly to Germany-Lufthansa was fully booked and not available, I used Air France and landed in Charles De Gaul and I was stamped and admitted into Schengen territory in Paris, France and eventually proceeded to my final destination: Hamburg, Germany.

This is not how it works. If I’m not mistaken with what you are saying. It doesn’t matter what airline you use, you will only be stamped it at your destination and not the stopover.

For the question that was asked earlier, you should enter France first and spend the most time there during your trip. For the sake of renewal. Because your last trip will be observed when reapplying for another Schengen visa

It was successful, 1 year given. I had 6 months earlier. There was a crowd of people to pick up, so we should expect more testimonies here.
Documents submitted during my application include company CAC documents, employment letter, pay slips, personal dom account, company account, cover letter, pictures of previous visas, pictures of previous visits and hotel and flight reservation (both unpaid).

Oh!, Just reconfirming to be sure, as mine was not stamped in January this year @ YYZ and again this November, @ same YYZ. I asked the CBSA guy for it, he said it was not necessary. Thanks

Quick update:

Unfortunately, I already applied through my company's visa agency company before I stumbled on this page.

I'm a first time traveler with no previous Visa nor visa denials, unmarried and earns circa 1.6m monthly.

Purpose of travel is for a one week executive course in a tier 1 business school in London. Company paid tuition 7.5k and will handle all expense.

Attached the company's statement (above 1b)
My salary statement (had balance of about 5.3m; didnt include otther bank statement with a few funds )
Visa letter from school confirming 7.5k GBP payment and that i owe them nothing plus some other documents.
I Stated I'd be spending 2.3
Also stated company will fund 2.3k (I genuinely assumed the personal spend was based on what the company will fund, realised I was wrong after going through this thread).

In summary, just want to know my chance while I await the good/bad .

If you actually work in the government parastal, your detailed payslips should indicate all these payments, so I do not see any issues here.

In this July, my productive bonus was also paid along with my salary causing another increase in credit.

Applied on 11th in Lagos.

DHL brought the passport today. I saw a pink paper first with a white paper stating that the visa application has been forwarded to Turkey and i would be contacted when they get a response.

I thought no visa was inside.

Lo and behold, I opened the passport and they also sticked a three months visa on it.

Going on an official trip though but the trip is super important to me so I am relieved.

Please, can this same Money Market Investment statement and letter be used for sponsorship of study permit application?

UPDATE:
Today is 18th October 2023 which is about 3 weeks after I submitted my application to the Turkish embassy in Abuja via Voya visa. I went to Voya visa to withdraw the application as I have to be in Uk in about a week.
Voya visa said I have to go to Turkish embassy in diplomatic drive for withdrawal of application. Went there and joined the small crowd that came for different things. (you sit outside under a tree and chairs are limited. I stood for a while).
After waiting for about 20mins, a staff member came to attend to everyone and it was quick.
Came back and told me my passport had been ready for over 2weeks that he’s surprised I didn’t receive an email for pick up. Wrote the date and asked me to go back to Voya visa. Went there and picked up my passport with visa.
The overall experience was stressful for a country I plan to visit just for 3 days. It’s not worth the stress.
Plus the cranky and very rude chubby lady at the reception acting as if she’s the consular herself.
Anyway, for your info: passport collection is only at 2pm, if you go earlier you will stand outside the gate and wait.
This information is not on their website or anywhere. You find out at the gate.
Overall, voyavisa services is very terrible and needs to be scrapped. I won’t go through such stress again

In summary

1- having a US visa will speed up your application process, even if the processing time says 365 days, you could receive a PPR within 2 weeks.

2- Even if you made a gory mistake in your application which you noticed after submission of same, hand it over to God. It would be overlooked.

3-God's favour is very important, you could still have a well-packaged application, devoid of fraud or error but still get refused. So, seek divine favour always cos human efforts aren't enough.

The above summary was arrived at, judging from my personal experience and that of my relatives. Thanks.

They wrote another mail asking for additional documents as a proof of my relationship with my wife, I sent them more than 200 pictures, WhatsApp chats, Facebook chats and comments that same day. Yesterday TLS sent a mail that my travel documents are ready for pickup, this morning I woke up to this wonderful mail.

In recent times running to 3 yrs atleast, Frequent visit travellers to the UK do not get notified about the success of their visa application fullstop.

No one is disputing the fact that you may have been notified back then.

Oga. I have received approval notification before from DMC in the UK for visitor visa........It was even a 2-years validity visa. Specifically in July 2014.

UkVI will never send you an affirmation that your visa is granted and especially because it's not been upto 4 days since you did the biometrics.

But then who knows🤷 you just might have benefitted from a super priority deal without even knowing.



As I am certain you are not the one that submitted your application yourself since you don't know what a tracker is, why not go and ask your agent whatsup

From experience, the two refusals I got in 2019, the BVL came a before the corresponding letters that contained the refusals. The approval (PPR) I got this year came same day and same time with the BVL. Just my observation, your case might be different.

Before close of today u will see that decison letter,i beleive your visa was approved,hence if refused that biometric could habe come with the refusal generic straight

The decision envelope for your application, tracking has been received from the IRCC Office on Thu Dec 14 2023 at the Canada Visa Application Centre, Lagos and is ready for collection.

We submitted in abuja, don't know why it's ready for collection in Lagos.

It depends on some other factors like previous refusals etc.

according to few confirmed statistical observations, if you had a uk/is visa or have an active one, you might get response within a month or less. Minimum a week.
