The rule is actually 10 days or so before you travel. Because you are expected to have been vaccinated.

Thanks. Is it something she can get as she waits to board?

Norway, is a country
emmanuelewumi:
Coupled with the crude oil price and market share war between Russia and Saudi Arabia.

Nigeria is in big shit because we are not prepared for this.

Norway with a population of less than 6 million people have over $ 1 Trillion dollars in their Sovereign Wealth Fund, got dividends, interests , capital appreciation etc from the fund to the tune of over $100 billion in 2019.

While Nigeria with a population of over 200 million people has less than $2 billion in our Sovereign Wealth Fund.

Russia and Saudi Arabia have between $300 to $500 billion in their reserves to pursue this crude oil price and market share war and to also defend their currency.

TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by ozymes: 10:00pm On Mar 09, 2020
Yep! submitted and biometrics done 23rd October 2017 and passport collected with visa 26th October 2017. Did long-term application, submitted with biometrics done at about 5 pm on 23rd April 2019 and passport collected 30th April 2019 with a 10 years validity visa. Gracias
giselle237:
@ozymes pls confirm. U have gotten your passport back in 3 to 4 days? Not the visa decision. I mean passport back in your hands after 3 to 4 days ffg biometrics?
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by ozymes: 2:44pm On Mar 09, 2020
I have always gotten even 3-4 days
giselle237:
I am yet to see anyone that got back their passport even within the 5 day priority visa schedule. I mean biometrics, visa decision and email from tls for passport collection within 5 days... i think it’s rare.
If u read this thread, u wud see the complaints. Give two weeks max... and there would be no refund for the keep my passport application u already did because u did keep your passport during this visa application... u didn’t submit it on biometrics day.
Also they said a decision has been made on this application meaning it has been processed... also non refundable...

Your principal amount is also a factor. Just imagine if you were doing 10m at that rate
YourNextLevel:
Thanks @Ozymes & @Unite4real

So why are people saying that there is money in fixed deposit?

Nothing is working shaa
InvestmentRe: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by ozymes: 12:08pm On Mar 06, 2020
further, divide 45,000/365days and multiply your answer by 90days
YourNextLevel:
Experts please i need to understand something here

If i have N1m and i wish to do a fixed deposit with a bank and their rate is 4.5% for 90day

Would the calculation be

1,000,000 X 4.5 /100 = N45,000 Profit in 90days

So i take home N1,045,000

OR some other multipled by 12 etchuh

InvestmentRe: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by ozymes: 8:33am On Mar 03, 2020
Which Bank please?
pesty100:
lol. It's the balance in the account before interest was received. Let's say I woke up this morning and found that i received interest of 5000, i see my my balance in the account has increased to 1,005,000; to calculate interest rate i will remove the 5000 interest from the 1,005,000 I will get 1,000,000(principal) after that, I do this 5000(interest) /1,000,000(principal); it gives me 0.005.
0.005 is multiplied by 100 to get interest rate per month which is 0.5%. This 0.5% is then multiplied by 12 to get the interest rate per annum which is 6%.

You saw all these and you still went in for biometrics? what were you expecting?
Relationshipish:
Hey guys.. been a passive reader here.. I have a uncle in the UK that's willing to sponsor me over.. he asked that a scan my passport l, I did and sent to him.

He used an agent for everything and I had no clue at all. Was just sent my appointment booking slip which I used for my biometrics about three weeks ago..

At TLS, This agent denied me access to the documents I'd be taking inside till the very minute I was ready to go in.. was surprised to see almost all documents falsified in my name.. bank statement, school receipt, etc..

my uncle was sponsoring me over as a son, I didn't know this as well. When I saw this on the documents I had some concerns because we do not even bear same surname.. I felt this could be an issue.

Well, I picked up my application response this morning and It was a denial ..on the ground that there's no evidence to show that my sponsor is really my dad..

And ofcos it's stated there that I have no reason to appeal..

Just want to seek advice in what to do from here??

Good morning.
Please my Parents are about submitting their visiting visa application in Nigeria and then I discovered some of their original documents like birth certificates and declaration of age are with me in UK. Please can I send the original copy to the Nigerian Embassy in London or I should just send via DHL to Nigeria cry so that they submit in person?

Do 2 years
Darvick:
Calm down a step after the other, there’s a reason they listed 6months 2years 5years 10years. Even though you apply for for 5yrs after your 6months, they can still give you another 6months or 2years trust me they won’t give you 5years. Don’t be a SKIPPO apply for another 6months or 2years

How do your recover your money from recalcitrant/dubious borrowers?
ibechris:
I joined the banking industry in the year 2012 where I met a colleague who joined from a bigger bank, although I joined as a graduate trainee while he joined as very senior officer.

One blessed day I engaged him in a talk on how we could have side hustle added to our salary,he said everything boils down to Capital for which he had none due to the project he had at hand. I quickly asked like how much are we looking at and he said at least a million naira. And lo and behold,I had just N360,000 as a fresh graduate. He requested I bring the cash and that was how we started,he showed me how to draft the agreement and how to recover funds from customers.

The first cash we gave out happened to be my money and the interest was shared on a 60/40 basis but as time went on,I was reinvesting my interest and the money kept coming.

2016, I resigned my appointment, because the stress was getting out of control and my mentor had already left to join another bank being a professional and very intelligent at his work.

That was how it has been ever since 2012 and currently, i have very solid customers base through referral that I can transact business without going to their offices or even meeting them. To further preserve my capital, I was able to secure about four landed properties in Abuja one in my village.

The loan business is very lucrative,as I have introduced my wife into it and my younger brother is coming on board.
Caveat is; get a mentor and have a targeted market and u will succeed. Do not listen to people as many will talk u down.

Funny enough no one has ever owed me since over 7years.

Just my thought too

comparing the purchased rate with the present low rates, that is even being over subscribed. I think returning investments that were subscribed at high rate shouldnt be a problem. infact, i think they are gaining more.....considering time factor.

Which airline?[q1uote author=Fekeri post=85624230]I picked up my wife and children's passport close to travel date as we needed to travel for the Christmas holiday. I was discouraged by high ticket prices and very long layovers for available airlines. I was at the verge of cancelling the trip till this year when something pushed me to check ticket prices through neighboring countries. At at first try, I saw return ticket in Ghana for 135k. I couldn't believe my eyes. I ignored and check if I could fly from from Ghana. I went back and saw ticket of 708k for a family of 4 with 1:30mins and 2:30mins layover both ways (Tap Portugal). I got return ticket to Ghana for 82k each and that was how we avoided the December high ticket prices with long layovers. The price difference was enough to pay for our stay in airbnb. If you are traveling light its an option you can explore because the ticket prices from Nigeria is really killing. One more thing, port of entry query was much easier.[/quote]

Does she have an account? If yes, let her submit and also explain any inflows, is there any evidence that husband sents money to her account?
opomulero:
what if the wife is unemployed and doesn't have bank account, pension etc etc

I am saying this because this was how one of my uncle got visa for his whole family of six (husband, wife and 4 pikin) though he works in Oil and Gas , i dont know if this is a contributing factor
