Guys! I posted just this afternoon about the fact that i got bvl but no ppr. I sent an email to all IRCC offices and two hours later, I got my PPR.
I'm a 1st-time applicant. Applied on August 29th, got PPR today, 9th December. I'm so grateful to God and I wish everyone waiting on thiers God's favor and divine help, just the way He helped me.

The only way to know is to get the login details from him since you don’t even know what details he applied with.

I am using the old Portal to apply, in those sections where I am to upload multiple files, am I to upload the documents individually or merge all the document pertaining to a section into one file and upload once?

Also, I read that one can nolonger use webform to upload documents anymore. I have already planned on doing my upfront medicals when I go for biometrics, then upload afterwards. Please, how do I do this, because I stay in the East, going to Abuja or Lagos twice without having anyone there will be expensive for me, couple with the security challenges.

You will need to upload each fill where required. E.g where you have LOA, upload your LOA there, where you have digital photo, upload your passport photograph there, e.t.c

And also for your biometrics and upfront medicals, if you were in living in Lagos or Abuja, you can do your upfront medicals even before submitting your application, but since you have to travel to do your biometrics and upfront medicals together, you can still contact IRCC about your upfront medical via webform, only you’ll have to wait for the to request for the e-medical slip. Which ever hospital you decide to use would have sent it to IRCC.

Omo! The initial shock of receiving the donotreply mail can raise BP to the roof.

I have received PPR for my self (Study permit), SOWP for Spouse, Study Permit x 2 (for Child 1 & 2), Visitor Visa (for minor - 1 yr old). Child 3 is a US citizen so we will apply Study Permit at the border.

April 30th Applicant.

I am still digesting the ecstacy in the office.

Just walk in to any branch, as long as you have account with them, tell them what you want and what you need it for. They charge for it though. I was charged 560 or 650 for mine. Recommendation letter.

first, there's a tab to upload a valid passport, i'm currently waiting to collect that so, can i proceed with the application first without uploading it yet? perharps i'll be offered a conditional admission till i upload it or something.

secondly, they say to upload "original *and* notarized" copies of Senior secondary (waec) and post-secondary education transcripts. does original and notarized in this context mean two separate things? or i just can upload results collected from my schools in both instances? (waec and transcript)?

please a fellow help out. Just trying to be extra careful make i no waste my hundred dollar application fee

Not sure because it’s one of the requirements and they want to use your passport data page to validate the name you will apply with as your passport is also a mean of identification

When I applied, I submitted my waec result + scratch card, probably that’s what they want from you too. But if you’re not very sure o clear on it, you can mail or chat them via live chat to seek further advise.

Guys… It’s PPR for my kid sister… she’s 20years and going to Memorial University… everything about this her application, i did it myself from the admission to Visa application. God! I feel like crying. She’s to resume January 5th.

Biometrics- 1st September and updated same day
Medicals didn’t get updated until i sent them a mail late Nov and it got updated after a few days on the 30th of November.
Earlier this week, i sent another mail to them reminding them of resumption and also that eligibility hasn’t started yet.
This morning 8th December, i checked her GCKey and nothing was there… then this evening at 6:44… the love letters dropped.
I logged in and saw Eligibility has started and application Dapproved.

This could be God. She had the most imperfect application. No Tuition paid just compulsory fee of 300CAD.
Pof was 24M only and nothing else…

Hi, you mean you want to start your study permit application? Have you gotten admitted by any DLI in Canada? If yes, are all other supporting documents ready to be uploaded?

Then if yes, I’d advise you should if possible do an upfront medical so you can submit alongside your application since it is impossible so submit documents via webform again.

For POF at immigration in Canada, should it be a new MBS statement, and unofficial Statement self generated or an official statement stamped in the bank ?

For MBS, I’m not sure that will work, because it’s has just username and passcode, I don’t think they have that time like IRCC does.

You can go with your self generated bank statement or go to the bank for a print out and stamp.

It’s better to do an upfront, if the other person had done upfront medicals, I believe the request would have been PPR.

Hello everyone, please I just got my study permit. I got admission to 2 colleges (the first one is a 3 years course) and I used the LOA from the first college for visa applications.
Now my visa has been issued but the problem is that the 2nd college I applied for just accepted me and it’s a 2 years program of practically the same course as the first college.
My question is can I change my school to the 2nd college without any problem because I applied for visa using the first college. Also if it’s possible can I transfer my school fees to the 2nd school?
Both schools are starting January 9th and I am going to Canada first week of January, I just want to know if I can change to the second school without issues and if my school fees can be transferred to my 2nd school on time and without any issues.

My school notified me of deferring admission till Jan 2024 but yet to issue defer letter.They also promised to accommodate me if approval comes out before resumption.
The programme suppose to commence in January 2023. If I want to notify IRCC, did I need to send another application

Yes you have to notify IRCC about everything.

But be mindful of your visa expiration.
