Great100000: Lionel Messi made history as the first male player to participate in six separate FIFA World Cup tournaments, spanning three distinct decades: 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018, 2022, and 2026.
His World Cup journey across the decades highlights his evolution from a teenage prodigy to the ultimate champion:
• The 2000s (2006 Germany): Messi debuted as an 18-year-old in 2006, scoring his first World Cup goal against Serbia and becoming Argentina's youngest-ever goalscorer in the tournament.
• The 2010s (2010 South Africa, 2014 Brazil, 2018 Russia): Messi established himself as the focal point of the national team. He led Argentina to the World Cup Final in 2014—winning the Golden Ball as the tournament's best player.
• The 2020s (2022 Qatar, 2026 North America): Messi captained Argentina to their historic 2022 World Cup victory over France. In 2026, at 39 years old, he extended his all-time tournament records to 33 appearances, 21 goals, and 12 assists. Say what you know. The first male player to appear in six separate FIFA world cup as in how? Is 6 different from 6? How many did Ronaldo appear? Two? |

it is very unfair using someone as a target practice over such a tragedy.
Is he guilty or innocent or is his supposed incoherence due to shock or confusion or guilt? Who are we to determine that on a faceless forum? Yes,the right thing would have been for the court to judge as you said. But who will charge him to court in this Nigeria? Or have you seen him going to court or being investigated by any authority since this incident happened? So,the masses know that there will be nothing as such, and so form their own public court and pass their judgement.Dont blame them. There is a vacuum and they are trying to fill the vacuum. |

What you see those guys doing there in that immigrant shop is a government backed policy that they are implementing. May be it was removed by Obj, then its price tanked. Secondly, the fact that households are not using it anymore doesn't mean that it is no longer in high demand. The one we were using domestically before is now being further refined to produce Aviation fuel which is in high demand and more expensive Ok..ooo |

PulaPower: No 1… That time wey you dey talk, there was kerosene subsidy, but now, not any more!
No 2… Bro, kerosene is still being used at large by many companies! That we household dont use it anymore doesn’t mean that kerosene demand has reduced..
No 3… Kerosene (Dual-Purpose Kerosene or DPK) is the exact same base product used for Aviation Turbine Kerosene (ATK/Jet A-1). Marketers often prioritize selling to airlines and construction companies, where profit margins are significantly higher than selling to individual households.. These ones are always ready to buy any available kerosene at any cost, thereby, making sellers to do anyhow dem like, since market has been deregulated..
Aside from all these, back then when kerosene was being used by many household, the kerosene that just 1 airline will buy to keep can be more than the total kerosene that 3 Nigerian states are using.. Ohh,I see my brother. No be small thing with all this petroleum product with their up and down kind of price. It is well! |

I know they were waiting for the world cup to be over before the start this year's own. It is good for them. I used to hate,or should I say lack interest for this show and put up occasional condemnation towards it. But now,I have a different view about it. I don't condemn it anymore. Not that I am really interested in it either, but just that I have learnt in life to allow people enjoy whatever brings happiness and entertainment to them and economic fortunes to the participants and the organizers alike. I take for instance football I am very passionate about,I realized that it makes absolutely no sense to some people. Like my Babe use to tell me before, she will be like.......what meaning does it make for plenty adult running around in a zigzag manner kicking a round object from one end of the field to another? This her question used to sound so funny to me but at the same time,so annoying. I thank God she doesn't show such resentment for football again.Through out this world cup period, she join me and watch some of the matches. She said if thousands of people she saw in that stadium finds it entertaining and derived happiness from it,then she has no right condemning it especially when it doesn't hurt her in anyway. I told her it is good that you come to that realization that this world is "Live and Let's Live". |

Mynd44: This kerosene stove is sold for 18,000 online, a 3kg gas cykinder goes for 25k.
At the height of Kerosene's popularity, it was a fuel used to cook but gas is a lot more cost efficient and available now, also gas doesn't make your pots black due to soot and emits less Co2.
Availability and tokenization of cooking gas is the main reason kerosene is out of fashion Your last statement "being out of fashion" holds true. But my question has always been, should being out of fashion not make it more cheeper than it was before? How come when the whole Nigeria was using kerosene for cooking and in their lanterns, the demands high but the price was low but now that the demand is very low,the price becomes higher? What kind of economy mystery is that? My Economy teacher didn't teach me that in elementary economy in secondary school. I was taught that, the higher the demand, the higher the price. But now, it's the lower the demand, the higher the price. How can a petroleum product we no longer use in our various household even in villages be sold at #2,500 per litre? Far higher than the prices of diesel and petrol that are in use through out the country. I am still wondering what could be the reason. |
