I don't understand this movie by the Israelis parliament. You don't need a parliamentary declaration to have full control over your own land. Are they telling me that they weren't in control of Judea and Samaria all this while? Then must have really dulled their map. When the Kingdom of Israel was divided into two during the rein of King Rehoboam, this same Samaria we are talking about was the capital city of the 10 tribes under King Jeroboam, while Jerusalem remains the capital city of the remaining 2 tribes(Benjamin & Judah) under the Kingship of Rehoboam. And the Samaria remained the capital of the 10 tribes till when General Titus of the Roman army scattered them in the year,70 A.D. So Israeli ownership of the City of Samaria has never in anytime been in dispute. What's wrong with this Netayahu, did I need to teach them the history of their land? |
I so much love it. It turns me on and have a way of arousing me naturally especially when I am playing with the bead and it makes some kind of customized sound. ![]() So if the tomorrow wifey will be the type that love wearing it,it will really gladdens my heart. I will be the one to be buying different types of it for her always. |
Saao:What if she is the one saying it to you? What will you do, and how will you feel? |
dominique:That's not the point. The point is, how much was the said drugs 2 years ago? And what's the percentage increase in it's price just 2 years of the present administration? In 2023, shortly before this administration came into power, the drug was 3k,but just 2 years into the life of this administration, it's now 10k. That is more than 300% increment within such short period of time and you still have the mouth to explain unexplainable. Has your salary where you are working increased by over 300% within the same 2 years? |
The essay is full of very strong worded statements. Take a look at the following excerpts from the write-up: 1).............he was one of those people who holds the belief that NORTHERN NIGERIA is a BURDEN to the Nigerian state and that if this country is to move forward,it would have to let go of that DEAD WEIGHT. 2)..............in 1979, the country went to the polls and Nigerians chose the SIMPLETON SHEHU SHAGARI over and above the ERUDITE OBAFEMI AWOLOWO. 3)............many of them enter office in their GERIATRIC years; they spent eight years in Aso Rock as a retirement sojourn there; and then DIE a few years after they have left office. Now, with the above statement from the author,I have carefully read through all the comments here up to the second page as at the time of making this my comment,I have not seen any Northerner in this forum threatening fire and brimstone that pastor Deji has insulted the whole North by calling them a "burden to Nigeria", "dead weight" or for calling their son who was a former president "simpleton". I have not also heard any Westerner here saying Pastor Deji and his people are insulting people and lack regards for the north and so they will never become the president of this country. But had it been that this type of statement were made by "Obidients",you will see the northers here threatening hell during election. They will tell you how the hold the key to Nigeria presidential election and that Obi will hear from them during election. And then you will see this place flooded with Pastor Deji s people telling the whole world how those group of people are people that has no regard for other tribes and that their principal will never and can never be president of Nigeria. But look at it, somebody using such weighty and tribalistic words to describe some people but no condemnation from anybody because it's made by their favourite people. And tomorrow you will say Nigeria will be good. No wonder the Writer says that the problem of Nigeria is "her people" and not Kemi Badenoch, and he was right. People full of hypocrisy and double standard. |

Esthered:Your cousin leaving her lucrative job for a teaching job in Calabar if that's where her husband stays wasn't a bad idea.At least she was still working and so not a liability. Wot really makes me sad in that story is childlessness in their union.I feel so sad as if I knew them in person. But sometimes life is like that. So,she shouldn't have accused her mother or anybody. The best thing should have been to trust in God as a Christian that she is if all medical solutions were defied by the situation. I still believe God will help them and give them children of their own if at all they are still together as husband and wife. Then concerning if it's abomination for a single lady to acquire those luxury for herself and live very comfortably. The answer is no, it's not abomination. But just that our African society is wired very differently from what it's obtainable in some other climes. Though it looks and sounds so abnormal even to me,but what the woman was saying is the reality in our society and I don't think it's gonna change anytime soon no matter the level of educational attachments by both men and women in society. Such weird way of thinking about a well-to-do single lady will still persist and it's almost becoming cultural. |
abbey621:Nigeria is not abroad. |
folake4u: ![]() No be wetin she really mean be that..ooo |
aybabz101:But all the things you have just stated have come to stay and has become part of our "marriage/relationship culture". If you don't have money more than your wife, she may not respect you. If your wife has money more than you and she is the one paying the highest bills in the family, she herself, her people and the society will look down on you as a man. They will say it's the woman that is feeding you. The society, the women folks expect that it's a man that should be providing for the woman and not the other way round. Be it as abnormal as it is,it has come to stay in our society and it will be difficult to do away with it. |
Esthered:You have a point there. The lady giving the advice also has a point too. Yes,she will attract men of "substance" as you explained but most at times men with such "big pockets" are not many due to present economy situation of our country. So in the process of waiting for such men of high financial standard, she might delay her marriage more than necessary cos such men are few. Take for instance,if a lady stays in 2 bedroom flat that cost maybe 700k per anum with good Italian couch,65" Samsung Curve smart TV,2 big freezers,Panasonic AC unit in each of the room and parlour, etc and the young man that is in love with her which she is equally in love with him is only able to afford a one bedroom flat of about 400 --500k, with maybe 42" LG TV and less cost couch,do you think such a lady will want to lower her standard by leaving her 2 bedroom flat to go and stay with the guy in 1 bedroom flat after their marriage? Of course, she will not.She will feel that if she as a lady can pay 700k for 2 bedroom flat then you as a man that wants to marry her should be able to afford 3 bedroom flat of about 1.something million naira. So that means she will missed the man despite the fact that she love him and he has met her other criteria except the financial standard. And if she misses such men like 5,do you know the age that will land her? So the summary of wot de woman is saying is that,to find a man that will surpassed the financial standard she has already set for herself will be difficult cos we don't have many of such men that are still single. And other men who are averagely well to do but not up to that her level will be feeling intimidated to approach her for marriage even though she would have loved to marry them if they have approached her. But where is the courage to approach her for marriage? |

Maxymilliano:Make two of unah, you and that guy go correct una selves. Make unah no come confuse us here. I don already give that first guy a "like" before reading this your own version. So I no know who to believe among two of una. So person no fit learn straight like this for this forum without any confusion? ![]() |
obagofizzy: ![]() Nah Peter Obi dey rein now,so im name must be mentioned everywhere. |
Very soon, the West will tag it "Russia sponsored protest" |
StoryHaven: ![]() Nah de proverb wey really funny me. But make them fight in silence nah,why them go dey fight dey make noise for Oja backyard nah? Even if them dey fight to defend Oja, make them no make noise nah.The noise dey disturb am and de noise fit even kee am before the fight. 😆😆😆😆😆 |
Cherrybae:You and which South South have moved on? Are you more South South than I am ? Why I responded to your first message in the first place was your generalization of "south must complete it's 8 years". And your assertion of "Obidients/S/E" being the ones giving the North mouth to talk against this government. I was then asking you who in the South gives the North the mouth to talk about a southerner government than the S/W? I referred you to 2015 when it happened. You couldn't deny it but to beat about the bush that S/S has moved on. Move on to where? Say you in person has moved on and not to say the entire S/S has moved on. You cannot speak for me and my entire people in the part of south south that I am from. Also, you don't want to be referred to a South Westerner for supporting a Yoruba candidate but if another person supports a candidate from Igbo extraction, you will be quick to refer to the person as a South Easterner or an Igbo, right? |
Cherrybae:Were you there when he reached an agreement with the North to do one term? When has the North ever reached an agreement with the South to also do one term? Most a time you people in the South West always thinks the South revolves around you. That you can align with the North when it favours you to unseat another Southerner and will then turn around to want other parts of the south to support you against the same north you people normally run to do alignment when it's in your favour. Who does that? |
autoez:That's not the reality. Nigerians are actually one of the most hardworking set of people on the surface of the earth. So the reality is that, the harsh and unfavourable economic atmosphere occasioned by government harsh economy policies is what is affecting small and medium scale businesses. The government economy policies is kil...l...ing businesses, causing inflation, creating unemployment, high cost of living and untold economic hardship and suffering to the poor masses and not that Nigerians are lazy. |
Cherrybae:Shift make I hear word with whipping of regional sentiment! Nah now you come know say South must complete their 8 years? When the S/S man wanted to complete their 8 years in 2015,did the S/W allow him? Hw many states in the S/W voted him? You no been dey here for this country wey them go align with the North to comot Southern man for power? So to you and your fellow S/Westerners,the South begins and end with unah, shebi? You see unah lives? |
Food as in how? The story no clear at all. The man no gree provide the food for the woman or the woman no gree cook the food for the man,or the man been want go force himself eat the food wen the woman no give am? Which kind half baked news come be "Woman kee husband over food?" |
alphaconde:Exactly my thoughts too. I thought it was Buhari's son. ![]() |
Bovis: ![]() |
Putinofrussia:Did you offer him this advice when he was being coronated according to that same Ifa tradition? During his enthronement rite, did they used the Arabic religion or traditional religion to perform in it? If no,then why the glamour for him to be buried according to Islamic rites and not Ifa rites? |
When did attendance in a burial become a requirement for standing in an election? So Reno is now an official Spokesman of the Northern Elders Forum,Arewa Youths Consultative Forum to determine who get what votes in the north and what not? Which kind busybody is this? See as him busybody till him go equate Buhari with the Sar'duana of Sokoto (Ahmadu Bello). Nah North still sent him that one too? So Wike and other leaders that didn't go, anytime they presented themselves for presidential election,Reno will order the north not to vote for them? Did the governor of his state attend the burial? |
No big deal about it nah. That's how it ought to be. A son must be the one to bury his father. Or do you people rather his father buried him? What a wonderful headline! |
Thunderfayamods:When the panel was asking people to come out and testify whether for or against the narrative, where were you? You should have been there to ask them that question.Tell them to prove to you the 48 casualties they are talking about. But no, you won't go. You prefer hiding in your hole then only to crawl out to ask s....I...l...l..y questions whenever the tollgate incident is mentioned. |
DeepSight:She should come and reply you. But I know she won't come out now to argue with the panel report since she knows more than the panelists. |
