Education is the Best Legacy and Policy
Education is a process of facilitating learning and imparting knowledge. It enhances the transfer of knowledge, skills, norms, morals, values, and beliefs usually from an adult to young ones, from an experienced individual to a less experienced individual or a learner. It could also be from a child to an adult but this is not common.

Legacy is handed down or passed down from one period of time to another from an ancestor to predecessor. It could be some amount of money, property. it can also be seen as an inheritance.

That is why we need to give our children quality education..

At Oduduwa university international secondary school the future is ours.

Tolerance,Skill,Practice ,Training is the key to education...

Children are the leaders of tomorrow.

PoliticsA Time For Reflection by packagerz(op): 7:43am On Apr 27, 2020
A TIME FOR REFLECTIONS

These are times for sober reflections
When you can’t be sure of going out and coming back safely, or even sleeping in your own bed in safety and confidence, then there is deep cause to worry.
My heart goes out to families, and communities that have to stay at home during this lockdown tragedy which have befallen our country these past couple of days.
I have strongly condemned and will continue to encourage us to stay safe, maintain social distance and washing of hands regularly, and more especially the response of the authorities to these avoidable spread of corona virus.

I sympathize with the families who have lost their member to these deadly virus. True that many people lose their children, but not many get to see the images of their late child been buried in there presence .
I am worried about hundreds of calls and messages I received everyday ,85percent are call for money and food.

My greatest concern is (how can my brothers/sisters sleep without food?

But I am worried however that our quest is not enough.. Personally I have donated more than 10m in cash and thousands of foodstuff which is not enough. But now am calling on my fellow brothers and sisters who can feed enough to support each other. Whether you are a tailor who can make nose mask for your environment, teacher, lecturer, businessman, artisans, cleric, tenants or landlord.. Let's reach out with the little we have right now..
People have insult and abused me that I have not done anything. Surely I have and I am still reaching out– mostly to people have not even met, or know anything about.
I ask that we apply reason and tact when posting on social media.

Surely we are all blessed, let's show love and reach out in anyway.. Even if it's sachet water Almighty Allah will still reward you.
My prayer is that Allah in his infinite mercies will continue to protect us from all evil.
May He Console and help us all.
Amin

My dear Muslim brothers and sisters,

This has not been the best of times for us as a people and as a nation. Ditto for the global community.

The novel coronavirus which as spread so fast to almost every part of the world.

Sadly Nigeria has not been spared this scourge. Since our first incident case in February, we have seen the figure rise to 1100 with 32 deaths as at April 24, 2020. The good news however is that thanks to our heroic healthcare workers, 197 of the cases have recovered.

But we've had to make sacrifices, and much more is required of us in the days ahead if we must defeat the scourge of this plague. Our social life has been disrupted by lockdown of sections of our country and practice of social distancing.

In the last three weeks, we have been unable to gather to fulfil our religious obligations to worship the Almighty Allah. The lesser hajj has been suspended.

But this is the reality as we commence this year's Ramadan.

I urge the Muslim faithful to pray for the country at this difficult moment when the #COVID19 plague has paralysed every aspect of our social lives.

And as you commence the fasting period, one of the mandatory sacrifices required of us, bear in mind this year's Ramadan comes at an extraordinarily tough moment for the Muslim Ummah because of the severe restrictions the coronavirus has imposed on us.

This is a moment of trial because for the first time in our recent history, we have never seen anything like this in terms of limitations on the activities we once performed without hindrance.

Unlike previous years, the 2020 fasting features, such as Iftar meal that Muslims share together everyday and every evening after breaking their fast would be affected because of the lockdown and social distancing policy brought about by the coronavirus outbreak.

Other activities that may be affected include the Tafsir or the gathering of Muslims to listen to Qur'anic recitation and interpretation by scholars.

Against this background, I urge Muslims to be steadfast and adjust to the new reality imposed by the coronavirus disease. These challenges are a test of our faith and resilience in the face of tough times.

Notwithstanding, it is pertinent upon Muslims to continue to be the good ambassadors of Islam by promoting peace, unity, tolerance, harmony and peaceful coexistence at all times. Above all, it is imperative that we observe all guidelines of the NCDC aimed at stemming the spread of the virus, much so as it is the teaching of the Noble Prophet Mohammed (SWT) during plague seasons such as this.

I supplicate to Allah to answer our prayers and help us overcome this extraordinary challenge soonest, and put our country on the path of renewal and prosperity. #RamadanMubarak

Nigeria will be great again

The novel Coronavirus, nicknamed Covid-19 hit the world unprepared, but even if the world was prepared China's closely guarded state policies of gag and restrictions will never have allowed the world to have adequate information, the Doctor who first noticed the Coronavirus infection in Wuhan was forced to sign an undertaking never to speak publicly about it that is how far China could go to police the state.

The first case of COVID-19 in Nigeria was reported late February 2020, it was reported to have been carried by an Italian, by the time I write this piece in April, there are 28 deaths, 873 infection with 197 discharged from Hospital, these statistics though insignificant compared to the infection rates in China, Italy, Germany, Spain and the USA, it's economic implication is massive.

I am a firm believer in future good, I am very positive we will pull through sooner than later, this is why I am dedicating this epistle to Post-Covid-19-Nigeria

By the time we are out of the pandemic, Oil prices have crashed from $55 a barrel in February to $32 in March and down to $19 in April 2020 and it's still uncertain.

A crash of 65% in less than 60 days. The implications is that Nigeria with a monoproduct economy will be worst hit, with a budget of N10.59trn for 2020, at an oil revenue projection of $57 per barrel.

For an economy that relies on over 80% on oil sales, scraping 65% of that 80% oil revenue will only mean one thing, flinging out the budget and restart on a fresh note.

Even if restarting, it must be a shoe string budget that will only cater for neccessities which should be mostly recurrent, capital projects can't make it reasonably for this year anymore, frivolities like National Assembly renovation should be the first to be thrown out. No time!

With a massive infrastructural decay across the country, insurgency and social insecurity, the options are devilish but leaders must be ready to be leaders who must first show sacrifice before asking ordinary citizens to follow suit, National Assembly members, all appointed and elected officials in the States and Federal Government levels must accept 50% pay cuts.

The fight against insurgency must not suffer, low level civil servants from levels 1 to 7 must also not be allowed to suffer or crime will go further up.

Funding of the fight against COVID-19 must be clear cut, strategic and well too!

Nigeria must aggressively pursue debt relieves from China, IMF and all other bretton wood institutions.

On the home front, the little that is generated within the remaining part of the year should be aimed at boosting Agriculture, human capacity development and prevetion of social insecurity.

Our educational, health and general wellbeing should now be the focus before any other thing.

Only the living has hopes! May we outlive this Corona pandemic.

Happy Ramadan to all Muslims around the world.

CareerBillionaire Ramon Adedoyin:my Advise For The Youths by packagerz(op): 10:48pm On Apr 22, 2020
YOU CANNOT BUILD YOUR FUTURE ON HOPE, YOU MUST BE CRAZY ABOUT IT

Great achievers in the world don't always make sense, they make progress, they achieve results.

A long while ago, a great warrior known as Hernán Cortés faced a situation which made it necessary for him to make decision which insured his success on the battlefield. He was about to send his armies against a powerful enemy, whose men out-numbered his own. He loaded his soldiers into boats, sailed to enemy’s country, unloads soldiers and equipment, then gave the order to burn the ships that had carried them. Addressing his men before the first battle, he said, “You see the boats going up in smoke. That means we cannot leave these shores alive unless we win! We now have no choice- We Win or We Perish”. They WON.

Every Person who wins in any undertaking must be willing to burn his ships and cut all sources of retreat. Only by doing so one can be assure of maintaining that state of mind known as a burning desire to win, essential to success. Burning Desire is the starting point of all achievement, not a hope, not a wish and if you have that burning desire within you which pushes you to reach out for your goals then there’s nothing that can stop you.

You Don't Have to Make Sense

Great men don't always make sense, they make progress, they achieve results. "That doesn’t makes sense.” We love that phrase. We love to hide behind it. We tell ourselves that certain things don’t make sense. It would have “made sense” for Cortés to keep a ship or two if not his entire fleet. But Cortés was on a mission and he knew that the only way to keep himself or his men from quitting on the mission was to take that option off the table. What Cortés did was force himself and his men to either succeed or die. Retreat was not an option. I believe that to truly achieve the level of success we each desire, there are times when we need to “burn the ships.”

It Only Happens with Lofty Goals

Great decisions are rarely made without great reasons. So many of us know what needs to be done to live a life of abundance, joy and happiness, but we don’t just do them. We read about how great people achieve greatness but we fail to do what they did. This happens because we lack a reason to use the power of our decisions. The moment we decide to change our situation the change begins, but we need something to drive us into making that decision. Anthony Robbins said, “Many people in life know what they should do, but they never do it. The reason is that they are lacking the drive that only a compelling future can provide. " The only way to get this drive is to set lofty goals for your life. A kind of goal that will give you unusual energy to succeed when others fail.

There is a distinguished difference between successful and unsuccessful people: successful people are motivated by lofty goals beyond them. They have goals that are bigger than themselves; they have something that constantly keeps them going. They are out of their reach and yet they believe that if they work hard enough, they will someday achieve those goals. Unsuccessful people are only motivated by today. They are not tomorrow thinkers. They are not looking beyond themselves. They have no plans beyond their circumstances. Therefore, their lives are void of meaning and inspiration. Whatever life brings along their ways, they simply accept it. And if they are committed to do anything at all, it will be to complain and give excuses why they cannot rise beyond their current situations.

We fail not because of big problem or failures, but because of small and uninspiring goals. Setbacks and disappointments don’t defeat us; small goals defeat us. Lofty and inspiring goals are necessary to compel you to become the person it takes to achieve them. They help you make necessary preparations needed to achieve them. ZIg Ziglar says, “What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.”

All great success ultimately begins with an idea, but what makes ideas become reality is the fuel of human desire. An idea by itself can give you a temporary feeling of inspiration, but burning desire is what gets you through all the perspiration necessary to overcome the inevitable obstacles along the way. When you are truly 100% committed to reaching your goals, you move from hoping to knowing. If you want something badly enough, then quitting is simply not an option. You either find a way or make one. You pay the price, whatever it takes.

I urged my upcoming youths to take my keys words.

The future belongs to our youths.

Stay safe
Wash your hands regularly.
Social distance is very important.

Covid: The dilemma between lockdowns and normalcy is real. No force in modern history other than the virus has placed capitalism in such crisis as to have to chose between death from the virus and economic collapse/death from hunger. Public health should guide policy.

In advanced economies this is cast as an ideological and philosophical divide between wealth creation in a free market and individual liberty, on one hand, and a stronger role by the state on the other.

In the United States, also, it has become a constitutional issue of states' rights versus federal government powers, with the balance clearly in favour of the states. President Trump asserted "absolute powers" to order a re-opening across the country, but constitutional lawyers have made clear his position is legally wrong, and some governors have told President Trump they will see him in court if he dares force them to re-open their states if public health conditions don't recommend it.

In Nigeria, the matter is far more existential. It is a debate between lockdowns and the economic survival of the poor who need their daily hustle to exist, especially when the ability of the federal government to put economic stimulus into the citizens' pockets is questionable.

For us in Nigeria, these dilemmas should motivate us to move our economy and our governance (including especially healthcare) to more basic levels that can provide the required support for our citizens in terms of livelihoods and jobs, as well as health services.

We have real work to do. But nothing will change if we don't join hands together to help each other, love each other. We must now begin to move forwards to save lifes, its not necessary if you r currently in government or no more in government,if you active or retired government worker.. If you are big or low businessman.pastor or imam.. Let's contribute the little we have to save lifes.

A bag, half bag, quarter bag, 5cups of any kind can save a soul... Some did not eat yesterday night while some wasted the excess they cook yesterday night.. It's time for you and me to save a soul...

This is the time you can build your treasure in heaven.

The university is ranked 304 in the world .

Oduduwa University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.

Oduduwa University is located in Ipetumodu, Ile Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.

Chancellor: Dr. Rahmon Adedoyin

Dr. Ramon Adedoyin is the President and chancellor of Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu, Osun State,Our Saviour’s University, Delware, United States of America and unique university in ghana.

About it's founder:

Dr Adedoyin is a man who has turned passion to wealth, like some other rich people who are self-made.

Except for the retinue of aides and his dress sense, Dr. Ramon Adedoyin, the president and founder of five tertiary institutions within and outside Nigeria and the CEO of hospitality, security and medical outfits, would pass for just anybody on the street. The fact that he smells opulence would make you look at him more than once.

He grew up in a polygamous home, a lifestyle that toughened and prepared him for future challenges. According to the High Chief, getting to this level was not idyllic. It is common among the successful people to say that they had an humble beginning. Adedoyin insisted that it was not as if his parents were rich, but they could meet his needs. “Oh! I come from a very good family. Though my father died when I was seven years old, my mother was comfortable at that time, selling some items.”

Adedoyin whose monthly wage bill is now N28 million.that fate brought him to where he is right now. His first contact with education was his enrolment into Ile Kewu , a koranic school, at Maha-Had Islamic Foundation, Isale Alfa, Ibadan in 1960. His formal education, however, started in Ansar-Islam Primary School in Ile-Ife (1961-1969).

He also attended Oduduwa College, Ile-Ife (1970-1974), and Muslim Grammar School, Odinjo, Ibadan (1975-1976).

He still remembers very vividly how he lost his father at age seven and how he had to battle with difficulties of life. According to him, his was a polygamous house and his father left 26 children when he died. After the demise of the old man, it became everyone for himself, the survival of the fittest, as his mother was left with the onus of single-handedly taking care of him.

“It was at this time that things became extremely difficult for my mother to pay my school fees, especially when I wanted to sit for my West African School Certificate Examination, (WASCE). She had to sell a few of her property to pay for my examination.”

Loathing laziness, after he completed his secondary education, he started teaching, though he had an opportunity to do something else, but preferred teaching just because he didn’t want to put on tie. “Well, maybe that was how God wanted it. Really, after I finished my secondary school, I got a job in an insurance company and they told me that I needed to put on tie and suit, but I wondered why I should do that when I was not a big man! I didn’t like it at all. So, I preferred teaching in a primary school to working in an insurance company. Maybe God planned it that I would be a teacher all my life; so, that could be the reason He directed my steps that way,” he recalled.

Getting admission into university was a tug of war. He sat for entrance exams twice before he got admission into the university.

Currently, he has a doctoral degree in Mathematics and Education from All Saint’s University of America, New York, United States of America. He is also a visiting professor in one of the universities outside the country.

Probably, he would not have had tertiary education but by a chanced encounter with a man. How? Music was an attraction and as a young man, Adedoyin got attracted to music and he would have become a musician but for the encounter that changed his destiny. .”I was copying the late Fela Anikulapo- Kuti and even now, I still love him. One day, a traditional ruler( now of blessed memory) visited my mother and found out that there was a nuisance in the compound who was always disturbing the house with drumming and noise, claiming to be a musician.

”But really, that was me! That was me then. So, he asked me why I was not in school. I told him that I had ‘F9’ in all my subjects in the ‘O’ Level examinations. So, he took me in his car to the secondary school where I finished from, Muslim Grammar School. When we got there, he asked for my result and I gave him. He was shocked to find out that I actually had ‘Al’ in all my subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. So, from there, he took me to the University of Ibadan to obtain a form. That was where my ambition to become a musician died! Then, I began to think of studying Medicine,” he said smiling.

Unfortunately, he could not get admission to study medicine. ”The following year, I went to the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), obtained the form and sat for the examination to study Mechanical Engineering. But I was still not offered admission. So, Prof. Dibu Ojerinde of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, advised me to choose another course, though he admitted that my result was good. But I told him I didn’ t want to be a teacher. He said my result was good. That was how I accepted to study Mathematics and Education”.

As an undergraduate, he augmented his mother’s contribution by teaching Mathematics by private arrangement. He recalled:“There was this Professor who invited me to teach his children Mathematics, having studied my performance. As I started doing that, another Professor also invited me. So, that was how I discovered that I was a good teacher. I believe this was what brought me to what I am doing today. Therefore, immediately I graduated, I never wanted to do anything other than ‘home lesson’.”

Having graduated in Mathematics Education, he put what he learnt in the university into practice; he started what later became the popular Universal Tutorial College, Ile-Ife. So, what many see today as big institutions was started as a lesson at the back of Adedoyin’s mother’s house. “I put up a makeshift classroom in our backyard where I was teaching people Mathematics. I also put up a beautiful signboard outside the house. When some people came, they thought we were using the entire house as the school. So, people started coming to my coaching centre,” he explained.

He had competitors too because many thought he was big and making so much money. “In our street alone, we had more than 10 schools that later sprang up. But I think it is God’s calling to have started like that. Some people saw what I was doing and they set up their own side-by-side. But today, I still have my own, which has metamorphosed into a university.”

He is proud to declare that while many think that the reward of teachers are in heaven, he has got his own reward right here on earth and he is comfortable. “It is said that when you are a teacher, and the chalk touches your hair, you will not make it. But today, I’m a billionaire; there is no doubt about it. I was almost blaming God for not allowing me to do what I had wanted to do (music), not knowing that He (God) had planned that I would be a class teacher,” he said.

Adedoyin, who is has many titles which was conferred on him Oba Okunade Sijuade, the Ooni of Ife, does not see impossibilities; rather, he sees possibilities in everything. The success of both the Universal College and The Polytechnic emboldened him to conceive the idea of a university. The dream became a reality when on November 3, 2009, he got the licence to operate a private university in Nigeria. And the institution has become a success.

Though he is into other businesses, he prefers to be seen more from educational perspective. “I prefer to be identified with education. I handed the hotel business over to my wife to manage.

In oduduwa University, we do more of teaching than lecturing, making use of diverse teaching mechanisms and apparatus.

All courses are taught by more than a single lecturer, among whom we have distinguished faculties in their fields of study.

PoliticsRamon Adedoyin, femi Otedola And Aliko Dangote Support Food Security by packagerz(op):
Maye of yorubaland, Atobatele Dr Ramon Adedoyin,Mr femi Otedola and aliko dangote support food security for Nigerians

Food security; the availability and accessibility of sufficient, safe and nutritious food will not be a reality for Nigerians until we harness the full potential of our agricultural value chain.

Over 50% of our perishable food items spoil in transit from farm to market as a result of poor storage and transportation facilities and techniques. Millions of Nigerian families can barely afford to eat and outdated farming techniques result in dropping farm yields year after year. The situation is worrisome.

What we need, is a concerted effort on a national scale, focused on using better farming techniques, sustainable agriculture, food storage and transportation methods, investment in agricultural research and increased agro-processing.

This will result in significant reductions in the cost of food as well as increased export opportunities to boost our economy.

At this pandemic period we must encourage our farmers and food chain sellers for better food circulation.
