MAYE OF YORUBA KINGDOM CAUTION GOVT ON REOPENING SCHOOLS AND RELIGIOUS CENTRES
…It is better to lose a session than lives — DR RAMON ADEDOYIN

As pressure mounts on the Federal Government to reopen schools across the country in the wake of the 2nd phase relaxation of the COVID-10 restrictions on socio-economic activities, Maye of Yoruba kingdom have called on the Federal and state governments to exercise restraint in reopening schools.

In May, the Presidential Task Force, PTF, on COVID-19 had recommended that states be allowed to decide on the reopening of schools, has not fixed issued for resumption and reopening of schools across the country.

Calling for caution, The multi billionaire educationist has warned against any plan to rush to reopen schools.

He said a critical appraisal of the situation must be done to arrive at a decision that would not lead to regret later.,It is better to lose a session than lose lives

The president&chancellor of Oduduwa university. Dr Ramon Adedoyin said the coast was not yet clear to reopen the schools.

“We may not have to rush; if it is left to me I would say we should have waited for the next quarter and see what will happens. It is better to lose a session than losing our lives. It does not matter whether we are losing a session rather than escalating the community transmission and die of COVID 19. Nobody has the answer when it is rising or the trend.

Dr Adedoyin, who frowned on the poor compliance of the public with the relaxation guidelines, argued that it is better to lose a session than lose lives.

“I think it is better to be alive than dying or be infected. I think we should be cautious. If the coast is not clear because we don’t even know the directions that we are going, the coronavirus cases are increasing. Fatality is increasing even though it is about is still under 3 percent but any one life lost matters.

“It is difficult to say what is on ground to make the state government think of telling students to go back to school. Have they gotten the emergency protocols including the wearing of face masks, hand washing, and use of sanitisers and social distancing?

“Those are the basic protocols that they need. We don’t even know the capacity of the classrooms. Are they congested? Will they just sit down and take lectures and go home and not go for sports? If they go home and they are infected will they not infect their family members? There so many questions unanswered so we need to be cautious, ” he asserted.

Most appropriate time to open schools is September

“There are a lot of uncertainties on where we are in Nigeria and the disease morbidity in-country. Unfortunately, people are in a hurry and I have always advocated we make haste slowly. That is not happening and that is worrisome.”

Car gurus in the house please kindly help me suggest which car would fit my budget,
I am actually planning to buy my first car as my family is growing big and moving from point A to B is becoming stressful for us, hence I decided to get a very good & sharp Nigerian used car with a budget of 500K max.

I want a car that is very durable, reliable, fuel efficient, cheap and accessible parts, meanwhile I don't want Toyota or Honda as they are too common on Nigerian roads & I also believe they re not the only best car options we can get. Though I am looking at Nissan Almera 2001, Nissan primera 2000 to 2002, VW Golf 3 and Mazda cars from 1999 to 2002 models.

Please kindly help me as I need your car expertise to decide which car to go for ASAP.

Thanking you in advance

Thanking
Just go for 1999-2000 model c class. Make sure it's four plug. Manual or automatic.. The engine is very cheap. The air conditioner Is bam. It does not consume fuel. I got brand new one for 30k.anf they work it on it. Till today since 3yrs.i am good going.. I use Mobil 2 to service it twice in a yr... I got mine from olx. Com. The c class from jiji. Dr Ramon Adedoyin’s greatest desire
Since he became Maye of Yoruba land, Dr Ramon Adegoke Atobatele Adedoyin has put the name of Ile-Ife on the world map with number of development projects such as the eye-popping , The Polytechnic, Ile-Ife and one of the fastest growing universities in Nigeria, Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu, Ife North Local Government.
Recently, the flamboyant and colourful industrialist was ranked by DEEPACKAGER'S BLOG as the richest man in Osun state with net worth of 520 billion naira and the 19th richest in Nigeria. Aside real estate business, Dr Ramon Adedoyin is also into tourism business

in Ghana, USA and Nigeria.
The cool philanthropist who also sits atop a business conglomerate with interests in banking, education , construction, tourism and hospitality, consultancy services and water purification and production, owns one of the of the most expensive SUV Lexus in the country. In addition, he has a customised land cruiser similar to that of the President of Nigeria. The philanthropist is everything you would wish to be in life. Providence, no doubt, has literally lavished its favour on him.
For a man who has everything at his beck and call, one wonders what else he wants in life. But those close to the Multi-billionaire revealed that his greatest wish is to put smile on people's face globally and that he prays about this ceaselessly.
Perhaps, this is why the late Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Okunade Sijuwade, Olubuse II chose and endorsed the Ife Prince to succeed him as the next Ooni of Ife. However after his demise, politics took over the kingmakers...
When Oba Okunade Sijuwade the late Ooni was to go to the journey of no return , He invited the ile ife elders and said "Gbogbo ife lope si ibi yi loni ooooo, ti oju baye oju, ki ohun maye oun oooooo, eni ti o ma reru ife re oooooo" ie When i go, dont change my wish, this is the person who will succeed me. Do not change my wish , otherwise, you will regret it. This position will ....pray for him.
The source said the revered multibillionaire and philanthropist with his exposure is far too busy and sophisticated to think, plan or instigate attack on anyone not to talk of his subjects. He’s rather building on the peace and dreaming greatly for enduring prosperity of his people.

The expensive words of Dr Ramon Adegoke
Atobatele Adedoyin that can change a man stagnant carrier to golden life....

In the interview He says::::

I am Dr. Ramon Adegoke Atobatele Adedoyin
My great love for education prompted me to establish Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu, The Polytechnic, Ife, Our Saviors University of America, Oduduwa Polytechnic, Lagos and Unique Citizens (University) College, Ghana.

There was a time I met a man at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (Ondo State), and he showed me so much respect and I asked if he knew me. He introduced himself as a professor and said I taught him mathematics . I met several peoplecwho would tell me they passed through me and that they are this or that. There are many people like that and they make me feel fulfilled.

The passion for teaching has always been there since my undergraduate days at the then University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University.

As at then, I had a pretty picture of the future of education in Nigeria and that was how I laid the foundation of Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu, Ife north local government in Osun State

God has blessed me with good health, a loyal wife, and dutiful children.

My life is very simple and perfect but I am blessed with quality vision of better education.

Many asked if I sleep. Yes I do sleep for 3-4hours, because I use my expensive time to "read and think".

The Yorubas are an industrious tribe. We are hardworking, diligent and brilliant. We are trail blazers. So, it is not a surprise that we are at the fore front in virtually all the major professions in Nigeria today.

The south west has the highest number of industries, schools- primary, secondary and tertiary institutions in the country today.

It will interest you to know that Nigeria today has around 170 universities, comprising 46 federal, 54 states and 70 private; more than 50% of the private universities are in the south west.

In Osun State today, I am the single largest employer of labour in the state after the government directly or indirectly thereby putting food on many families table.

I am the largest single investor in tertiary education in Nigeria today apart from the federal and state governments with the establishments of Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu, Oduduwa Polytechnic, Lagos, The Polytechnic, Ife, Our Saviors University of America, and Unique Citizens (University) College, Ghana.

There was a time a particular governor passed in front of the university and he stopped. He asked the people with him why the Federal Government had to site another university so close to the Obafemi Awolowo University. One of his aides then informed him that OUI is a private institution.

I also have a host of other businesses and investments among which are; Our Saviors Tours and Visitors Company of America, New York, Hilton Hotels, Ife, Our Saviors University Properties LLC, USA, Ray Power Guards Ltd, Lagos and First Access Microfinance Bank Ltd.

I can tell you categorically today that I am one fulfilled Nigerian. I love what I am doing and I am doing what I love. Making me the President of Nigeria would not make me feel as fulfilled as I feel right now. I have been offered political appointments in the past which I turned down because it would not make me fulfilled. God has blessed me all round and I feel so fulfilled.

It Is the development and drive that I have contributed for my community that made the late Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuade Olubuse II to have a son interest in me

The love His Imperial Majesty, Ooni of Ife, Late Oba Okunade Sijuade, Olubuse II had for me made him choose me as his successor whenever he joined his ancestors. But today politics has taken over our traditional seat of afiobaje (the king makers).

I used to believe that people were inherently reasonable and good. This process taught me that I should not assume that people can be relied upon or that other people will necessarily receive from me in the same way I give out.

Contesting for the stool of Ooni was actually very educative and interesting because I saw human beings in their true forms. People I didn’t expect betrayed me.

I see giving as my passion and lifestyle. Today my charity organization is giving, helping, leading and supporting.

I don’t womanise, and I don’t drink alcohol. I am very moderate in all that I do. I am very hard working and people know it. Lazy people can’t work with me.

I don’t want many wives. Even when I was much younger, I had the principle of one girlfriend at a time. Also, my wife is very beautiful. And she prays for me all the time.

Giving out and putting smile on people's faces gives me more joy than anything.

I was already a Multi-billionaire at the age of 55yrs.

I have made some numbers of billions of naira, I never really figured out exactly how much am worth but I think it might have been around 450billion. I know that my adjusted gross income at least one year was about 125billion Naira.

I remember then when I use to drive a white Mercedes Benz even with millions and billions in my custody.

Adedoyin Cautions Govt Against Reopening Schools Religious Centres

Dr. Rahmon Adedoyin

Renowned educationist and the Chancellor and proprietor of Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu, Ife North Local Government, His Royal Eminence, Dr. AbdulRahaman Adegoke Adedoyin has cautioned the government against the reopening of schools, churches, mosques and other like gatherings until a permanent solution has been found to the problem of COVID-19.

Dr Adedoyin who was reacting to calls by numerous calls by Nigerians on the government to lift the ban on schools and religious gatherings noted that reopening schools and religious gatherings without having found a cure or vaccine for the Corona virus would be like the country sitting on a keg of gun powder and may have serious implication on the citizens whose lives the government should protect.

According to him, even with the shutting down of the schools and religious centres, the figures being released daily by the National Centre for Disease Control indicated that the number of infected persons is on the rise with highest number of daily discovered cases recorded last Saturday.

Dr Adedoyin noted that there are certain posers to be answered by teachers, school owners, parents as well as those at the helms of affairs before the thought of opening schools could emanate.

According to him, teachers should ask themselves if they are ready to unnecessarily put themselves at risk in their daily interactions with students while teaching and even while marking scripts without any risk allowance or compensation to their families in case they die from contracting Covid-19 from work even as their families are also in danger of contracting d virus from them.

He also raised some challenges likely to be faced by school owners, if schools were to be reopened as being clamoured for. These include: what approaches would adopted, if it was discovered that a student shows COVID-19 symptoms during learning, are they to quarantine the teachers, the whole class or the whole school? How often should the temperature of teachers and students be tested? How easy will it be to test the whole school before lessons? Is the teaching and learning going to continue if the school runs out of sanitizer? And if the teacher is in self-quarantine, who will take his/her course load?

Dr Adedoyin noted that parents should also be faced with the fear that the children could bring the dreaded COVID-19 home from school and should therefore consider if education is of higher priority to them than their children’s lives.

He also noted that responsible authorities should also consider if all schools have enough facilities like classrooms, desks, hostel accommodation, beds and beddings to effectively maintain social distancing in all schools and whether they are ready to employ more teachers since the teacher to pupil ratio will decrease.

He reminded the government that COVID -19 is spread by air and contact which is inevitable if the government decides to reopen educational and religious institutions adding that while the people continued to pray and hope for the best, the government should focus its attention on research aimed finding either a cure or a vaccine to end the COVID-19 pandemic.

INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT DR RAMON ADEDOYIN..

In an interview... He says....

I was already a Multi-billioniare at the age of 55yrs..

Here is what I learned..

In the late 2000,i have build 4-5 institutions, hotels and other chains of businesses..

I made some numbers of billions of naira, I never really figured out exactly how much it was but I think it might have been around 450billion. I know that my adjusted gross income at least one year was about 125billion Naira.

I am wealthier than ever, here's how I succeeded by following the path of least resistance I achieve my goals daily.

Truly money doesn't make you happy and it doesn't give you content either.

I remember getting to the end of a particularly challenging but satisfying project, putting my feet up on my desk, taking a deep breath and realizing that I had it all. I rather prefer giving out and putting smile on people's faces give me more joy than anything.

My hard work produced the first polytechnic in Nigeria late 90s,today which I renamed The polythenic of ife.
Then, I have a better picture of the future of education and that is how I laid the foundation of oduduwa university,ipetumodu.ile-ife.osun

My life is very simple and perfect but am blessed with quality vision of better education.

I remember then when I use to drive a white Mercedes Benz even with millions and billions in my custody.

Today Allah's grace help me achieved alots.

Many asked if I often sleep?. Yes I do sleep for 3-4hours..because I use my expensive time to "read and think".

"I read and I think"...

It Is the development and drive that I have contributed for my community that made the late ooni of ife.. Oba Okunade Sijuade ..olubuse 11 to have son's interest in me...

The love His imperial majesty.. Ooni of ife. Late oba okunade sijuade. Olubuse11 has for me made him choosed me as the next ooni of ife when ever he joins his ancestors. But today politics has taken over our traditional seat of afiobaje.. (the king's maker).

I am not surprise of where I am today, I would have been surprised if am not in that position today because I have walked a long walk..

I see giving as my passion and lifestyle.. Today my charity organization is giving, helping, leading and supporting..

I used to believe that people were inherently reasonable and good.
This process taught me that I should not assume that people can be relied upon or that other people will necessarily receive from me in the same way I give out.

I learned another big lesson from this...

I now never help people who don't ask me for help and even then I only help them to the extent that they don't ask. I also look for ways that I can help that won't compromise my own position and that required the least outlay of my money, things and effort

I have successfully build the following institutions and organizations from grass to grace..

MY HEART GOES TO GEORGE FLOYD... MAYE OF YORUBA KINGDOM
It hurts me so bad when I heard about the sadden death of our brother George Floyd..

Let me state this as Police violence in America: six years after Ferguson, George Floyd’s killing shows little has changed
In 2014, Michael Brown’s killing by white police prompted talk of reform – but the country has failed to stanch the bleeding

Why.. Just because Africans are great, Just because our nation is not in proper hand and in proper leader 's hands..

After the African American teenager Michael Brown was shot dead by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri in August 2014, the epidemic of police violence against people of color in the US captured national and global attention, for a time.

The police officer filmed kneeling on George Floyd's neck charged with murder
When Brown was killed, the words of Eric Garner, gasping “I can’t breathe” as he was crushed by officers in New York City a month earlier, were still echoing in the national conversation. Protests rose up in Ferguson, a new movement for racial justice grew under the banner of Black Lives Matter, and talk of systemic reform filled the air.

Six years have passed. As national protests spread anew in reaction to the death in Minneapolis of George Floyd, another African American man killed by another white officer, a growing chorus could be heard to ask what America has done to stanch the bleeding. A tragic answer hung heavily in the air.

“What is true about this moment that was also true in 2014 is that these are the symptoms of a centuries-old virus of white supremacy in America,” said Brittany Packnett Cunningham, co-founder of the Campaign Zero movement against police violence.

“The expectation that black activists and organizers and writers and leaders alone were going to be able to solve this in six years is as insulting as it is unrealistic.

It’s unrealistic because it took us hundreds of years to get into this set of circumstances, and it’s going to take us more than six years to get us out. And it’s insulting because it’s actually the work of non-black people to uproot anti-blackness, and it is the work of white people to dismantle white supremacy, because it directly benefits them.”

Floyd, 46, died under the knee of a white police officer as he struggled to echo Garner’s words: “I can’t breathe.”

The killing came even as the country struggled to come to grips with the cold-blooded shootings of a young jogger, Ahmaud Arbery, in Georgia, and a medical technician, Breonna Taylor, by police inside her home in Kentucky.

“This shouldn’t be ‘normal’ in 2020 in America,” former president Barack Obama said in a statement on Friday, alluding to another recent incident, in which a white woman in Central Park in New York threatened to call police on an African American birdwatcher.

“We have to remember that for millions of Americans,” Obama said, “being treated differently on account of race is tragically, painfully, maddeningly ‘normal’ – whether it’s while dealing with the healthcare system, or interacting with the criminal justice system, or jogging down the street, or just watching birds in the park.”

It’s unrealistic because it took us hundreds of years to get into this set of circumstances, and it’s going to take us more than six years to get us out. Today I pray for the family of the deceased loved ones that almighty will healed their wounds.. Also I pray for all Africans abroad to stay strong. May almighty Allah guide and protect them.

It is given by Olodumare to everything — gods, ancestors, spirits, humans, animals, plants, rocks, rivers, and voiced words such as songs, prayers, praises, curses, or even everyday conversation. Existence, according to Yoruba thought, is dependent upon it.[2]

In addition to its sacred characteristics, ase also has important social ramifications, reflected in its translation as "power, authority, command." A person who, through training, experience, and initiation, learns how to use the essential life force of things to willfully effect change is called an alaase.

Rituals to invoke divine forces reflect this same concern for the autonomous ase of particular entities. The recognition of the uniqueness and autonomy of the ase of persons and gods is what structures society and its relationship with the other-world

Dr Ramon Adegoke Atobaatele Adedoyin is the only spiritual son of the soil eledumare has give the ASE (authority) to speak forth..

Yesterday the multi billionaire stated that regular
Handwashing is one of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of COVID-19. But what if you don’t have soap?

THE HOUSE OF MAYE OF ODUDUWA KINGDOM is urgently working to provide hygiene supplies and clean water to some of the world’s most vulnerable children, including those living in refugee camps and displaced by conflict.

Every action counts. Together, we can reimagine a world where every child has access to soap and clean water.

Together we will survive..
