I think Swift will deliver the promised speed. They have there own Fibre laid to this locations and also use point 2 point microwave equipment. as such the Network bandwidth is assured. I heard they don't have issues with Internet bandwidth as well. just an Inside Info. Sort of close to the guys that makes the policy wink

Politics / Re: Nigerian Police Uses Cctv Images To Capture Bank Robbery Syndicate - by palmwine(m): 2:17pm On Feb 04, 2009
You don't have to see the face of the robbers. It is wrong to parade anybody on national tv until a court says he is guilty.

The NPF has been known to fabricate evidence at will.

1. They once dropped marijuana /a short gun on some of friends claiming they are cultist during my university days.

2. Arrested another friend at 8pm and drove him all over Lagos until it was 1am. Only to say he was arrested at 12am.

If I c a police man and an armed robber. I will run towards the armed robber and beg him to save me from the police cheesy

Politics / Our Govt Decieved Us. by palmwine(m): 8:33am On Jan 30, 2009
Fellow landers, the way our policy makers thinks can be very bad.

A few months back everyone in government and the CBN governor were telling us that our economy is immuned to the global crises.

All we hear, is we are safe blah blah blah!

Now the stock market is in crises, banks are planning to cut jobs, Naira value falling, crude oil price on the down fall etc.

What do you think we should do?

If feel someone should have the diginity to resign his apointment.

Politics / We’re Preparing For 2011 Poll – Iwu by palmwine(m): 7:47am On Jan 22, 2009
“We will soon commence a formal opening of the 2011 electoral cycle. That of 2007 has gone a little longer but it has not been too long because in 2003, we had litigations that lasted until 2005. We hope that all the litigations will end soon,” Iwu stated at the INEC headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday.

This ewu guy has a thick skin. We say we don't want a man in town and he still insisting on leading the orchestra.

Politics / Obama's Governor Impeached by palmwine(m): 6:45pm On Jan 09, 2009
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – The Illinois House voted overwhelmingly Friday to impeach Gov. Rod Blagojevich, an unprecedented action that sets up a Senate trial on whether he should be thrown out for abuse of power, including allegations that he tried to sell President-elect Barack Obama's vacant Senate seat.

Impeachment required just 60 votes. The final result was 114-1.

Legislators accused the second-term Democratic governor of letting down the people of Illinois by letting ego and ambition drive his decisions.

"The citizens of this state must have confidence that their governor will faithfully serve the people and put their interests before his own," the committee's report said. "It is with profound regret that the committee finds that our current governor has not done so."

THE GUY NEVER EVEN COLLECT THE MONEY, I TRUST NAIJA, THIS KIND TIN NO FIT HAPPEN. cheesy

Politics / Lets Score The Nigerian Senate And House Of Reps by palmwine(m): 9:57am On Dec 30, 2008
In the Past one year what have our legislators done?

Lets score them.

1. They failed to pass the Freedom of Infromation Bill
2. Had a retreat on Niger Delta and nothing has been done so far.
3. The senate passed the 2008 appropriation bill without asking the various ministries to defend it. It was reffered to as "BOW AND GO" budget by a friend.
4. All the probes from power to car purchase nothing came out of it.

Fellow LANDERS whats your accessment of the legislature.

I will score the SENATE 40% and HOUSE OF REP 48%

Read the comment of the Senate President on this.

The Problem is that the Presidency is like HUB evry thing plugs into it.

THe IG, AG,INEC,State governors, Chief of defence staff, custome, CBN every thing, Everything can almost not work without a clearance from the presidency.

We need to first unplug all this unit and make them stand alone.

Politics / Re: Efcc: Put Yourself In Waziri's Shoes by palmwine(m): 4:44pm On Dec 18, 2008
Where to start from;

Stop Plea Bargaining
Let somebody go to jail
Pen robbery must attract more jail terms than Armed robbery

More suggestion Please,
