Problem is, politicians in Nigeria and other citizens are usually on different pages. Did you listen to the President's independent day broadcast? Did you hear all the growth figures he was quoting? |
Nigerian and sycophancy! When did a member of house of rep become the media spokes person to the President. I'm sure he is seeking some favour. |
This will not take you 5mins. We accuse our leaders of inaction. Now is the time for us to act. Lets begin to move for change in Nigeria. Our problem is that of leadership, and without credible elections then there can be no real leadership in Nigeria. Sign an online petition to the National Assembly now @ www.utomifornigeria.com |
Don't divert attention from the issue on the education sector. PROPAGANDA!!! Who deserves to be kidnapped if you ask me. Cos if the students were in school they' probably be in school. |

Imagine this scenario, In primary sch. you don't get to do any home work and Gbams! You get into secondary school and somebody begins to have you do home work. Imagine how well you would adapt. Of course you will adapt since you are used to home work since primary school ![]() |
Even if u tell dem b4 hand, they won't be able to defend it. You know why? They send the soldiers to face gun fire and embezzle their allowance. If the soldiers protests? Life imprisonment. ![]() My guy If na you, you go defend anything for this country? |
Our leaders can't think. I'm sure they want to but they just not capable of thinking. Next thing they will bring one desertification research Institute to Niger Delta .I tire for this country. Simply arithmetic dem no fit do |
his the way the National assembly works. Every body speaks against it nd when its time for a voice vote, they all say "YEh" I think its time we know how each senator votes, understand there vote patterns etc. we cannot get this by using voice votes. Do what Ken Nnamani did. each and every senator should be made to speak out individually. And not the usual " If you want road construction say Yeah and if against say Nah" It is ridiculous. |
My pple says that even if the wood carvers stops carving wood. The one he already carved will never perish. King of pop, Adieu. live on! |
Thanks men! I got mine will read through. |
"FOR Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, the state should score many firsts before 2011 when his tenure expires. Besides a good number of roads networks, rehabilitation of others, bridges and drainage systems, Lagos should be digitally mapped and provide geographical information systems to create ready access to every part of the state." AND TO THINK THAT THIS MAN IS A LAWYER. 10 LEADERS LIKE HIM WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/compulife/article01//indexn2_html?pdate=170609&ptitle=Lagos%20flags-off%20digital%20mapping,%20geographical%20info%20system |
origina9ja:Bad taste still. I'd better let you be. How did I get into this in the first place? |
AjaraEwuro:The law that guided that election has been superseded by the current electoral law. In the new law you don't have to debate to get to an office. Even if you are willing to, how many candidate do you want to debate with. Considering the number of candidates for say the office of the president. |
Again the way the opposition goes about a debate would turn off most people. When u hear a man say I challenge you to a debate on national TV as if its a duel. Think its time we all learn to carry ourselves well and Diplomacy, the right choice of words should be the hallmark of a statesman, not beating war drums. |
It shud be made a requisite in the electoral law. In the US its stipulated and the no of such debate is stated. The last time OBJ was invited he did not honour it cos its not compulsory. |
origina9ja:The above comment is in bad taste. You were not asked to abuse the president and besides you don't address the president of a nation the way you just did. I'm sure you will not be better off if you were the president. the above post will leave a very sour taste in the mouth of any decent person. ![]() |
wait until you hear from one off our rep. in the house of reps. ![]() |
I will ask him why is he filling all available federal appointment with northerners I will ask him when he hopes to declare the state of emergency in the power sector |
@Ibime Are you Mr. President? ![]() |
*Shakes Head and walks away* |
@oneNaija, What exactly is your point? Are you saying that cameroun has stable electricity because they are small? show me a local govt. in nigeria with stable power supply since you now judge with size ![]() |
I can't believe this! As the Federal Government grapples with the problem of electricity in the country, the Republic of Cameroun is currently supplying electricity to some parts of Nigeria. The Adamawa State governor, Alhaji Murtala Nyako, said this in Abuja at the mid-term anniversary of the establishment of the technical cooperation fund being managed by the Directorate of Technical Cooperation in Africa (DTCA). Nyako, who stressed the importance of maintaining security with the Camerounian government, added that through the cooperation, Cameroun had been able to supply electricity to his state. Pepeye:Underscores the stupidity of women. Won't be surprised if some married women are also warming up to have a child for him ![]() |
tboy1:You said it all. Let met just add that telecom infrastructures are already in place in the developed world. In Nigeria you will have to pay area boys at every road junction when you want to lay your fiber optic cables, not to talk of mounting a microwave point to point radio etc. This is of course after paying the various local govt and state govt for various permits. I just laugh when Nigerian compares Broadband service in Nigeria to UK. How come no one is comparing PHCN service to the one provided in the UK? I guess we are all now use to it. ![]() |
