Firstly steady is different from uninterrupted. If we want steady power supply like 10 to 12 hours per day or even higher, we just need to maximize what we have now. If the issue of gas and vandals are tamed, we will definitely have steady power supply. Also some facilities belonging to the discos especially need to be upgraded. If there is sincerity,,, we can comfortably enjoy steady power supply within 2 months but if we want uninterrupted power supply then we may take years to achieve that because we need more power stations to up the maximum 5000 MW we achieved.
