ojeysky: But do you know what is moving Caverton? It already exceeded its 52w high and seem to be heading towards it's historical highest price I agree with @Zagee Sometimes, it just doesn’t make sense. Heard that they are collaborating with a foreign firm to use electric motors/vehicles for their water transportation venture, but how profitable could that be? |

designking: I wanted to purchase First Bank shares but after reading back and forth arguments about Oba Otedeko and Otedola fight over the control of First Bank on this thread I became scared to buy it. Though their arguments and counter arguments are well grounded.
My gut and inner chi said to me, forget these arguments.. buy the stock.. I bought First Bank shares eventually... Today it has delivered almost 50% ROI in less than 45days.
These days, I lookout for a company last financial report and if good and the stock is undervalue... I just enter. Same thing I did with NASCON several weeks back. I missed the FBNH bus because of AP. I didn't follow my gut instincts (Chinazo ) but placed a bid for #22, not knowing it could still 'jump' from #24. Like you said earlier, the Caverton result was not inspiring; so when I placed the order and did not succeed I moved on to other stock. Luckily, I didn't miss NASCON |

We move sha. It happens to many of us. Self-forgiveness dey help well well o, especially when you realize that some others here have stated how they lost massive 'potential' gains e.g. Transcorp, Oando, etc. Keep moving |

Sunrisepebble: So it is still rumor but with the equity related transaction that concerns FMN and what I’m hearing they’re planning to do at completion of the exercise, it will definitely affect HONEY due to the significant stake. They are doing a consolidation. FMN had a predetermined price of about #70, but with recent share price appreciation and activity I believe that will now be revised upwards, to the displeasure of the people at FMN. With regards a target price for HONEY I am still unaware of the happenings there. Will drop more info as it becomes available We trust your info and we'll continue to do our DD |

Still a strong buy for investors apparently Thanks for your previous alert on FMN, which made some of us do more DD as we could have sold off earlier. I will wait for Aradel in NGX because I don't plan to trade OTC on NASD. As 'Oliver Twist', I still await that penny stock pick you talked about last week My eye dey 'chuke' |

The 'school fees' you paid then, has made you a 'Prof' today. We all have paid (or will pay) school fees as far as the stock market is concerned. vacanci: Was their share price marked down after the qualification date of the bonus?. I just checked and could not see such.
Also they have increased their outstanding shares to effect the bonus and their earnings are calculated based on the new outstanding shares with the dividend also based on that. Some things are not adding up. Perhaps the guys very knowledgeable about these things can shed more light I recall it was marked down significantly, though I can't remember the price then. *PS: It closed at N5.13 on January 4, 2024 to open at N3.08 on January 5, 2024 (Source: FSL securities price list historical data) |

Mankind2024: Dear forum members, I would like to ask knowledgeable members about C&I financing. Recently, the company declared an interim dividend of 0.05 kobo(closure of Reg 12th August 2024), despite the outstanding bonus issue of January 5th, 2024 (closure of Reg)- specifically, the 2-for-3 bonus issue. However, the said bonus has yet to be credited to our CSCS account statements. My question is: will the interim dividend benefit the outstanding shares of individuals, or will it include the pending bonuses as well? Thank you. I guess you are referring to C & I Leasing. I contacted their registrar yesterday to ask the same question and was informed that the dividend won’t apply to the bonus, notwithstanding the fact that the ex-dividend date is over 7 months later than that of the bonus date.

Thanks in advance Abeg o! Make una help me answer the above question |

Streetinvestor2: From the result I have checked as per Hi result. I like what I saw in c and I,Veritas insurance. I am waiting for corners stone result but the dividend of last Yr is a good sign.Ikaja hotel result is equally good if you can get it lower though it does not fall into penny stock for me. My definition of penny stocks is anything below #5 now.Anything below #2 is good buy for cham too. This are the ones I checked and 1 am okey with result because earnings came from thr original business not forex gain or one time profit from something . Thanks boss |
