The Founder of The Due Process Advocates (DPA) Barrister Emeka Ugwuonye was approached by some men on plain clothes on Friday 6th July 2018 after his Court case in Abuja in the guise of an invitation from the Commissioner of Police Abuja for questioning but was immediately arrested by the OC LEGAL, J. C. Idachaba, FCT Police Command, Garki.

He has been denied visits, food and medications. They kept him incommunicado since Friday. We appeal to the police authorities to release him immediately. Denying him access to his lawyer, family members, medication etc is abuse of his fundamental human right.
